Awesome. A lot bigger than it looks from outside. The game assistant that helped us was awesome and adding our 19 month into the game way slick and super thoughtful. We had a great time. Would help if they game a little more back story to emerge is into the game tho.

Have done two rooms, chainsaw chuck and did the zombie apocalypse today. Great fun and were able to escape in under the time. Would recommend to anyone.

While on vacation our kids asked to do an escape room. Not knowing what to expect we escaped the first room with time to spare. The kids had so much fun we went back the next night and completed a second room. We escaped but barely! It was a great family bonding experience and we all had to work together to complete each mystery! We will be back next time we are in Myrtle Beach!

This place is awesome! I was in a bachelorette party this week, and we did the Bank Heist escape room together. It was the first escape room for most of us, and we managed to solve it! The riddles were challenging while also being super creative and fun! The staff was super nice and helpful before, during, and after the room. It was a ball!

Amazingly fun! I love the fact that there are multiple rooms involved in each theme. This place is awesome.

Live locally and have been here several times and it was ok, last time the employee we dealt with was very rude. Will definitely not be going back. There are plenty of other escape rooms where I can spend my money.

Best escape room weve ever done! Multiple rooms in one, just the right amount of scare, and the clues were a mix of super tough where team work was required and easy to make you feel like you werent spinning your wheels. Planning a second visit this week!

Our favorite activity of the week, kids loved it and so did the wife and I. Played their newest game and it was great. Worth every penny.

My family and I have been on vacation in Myrtle for two weeks now and we love escape rooms so we’ve played one or more at each of the escape places here. Break Out is our favorite. The staff is awesome, games are fun and challenging, and the props and scenery are high quality. We played Escape the Serial Killer and Volcano island so far and we’re already booked again for another game tomorrow. It’s also clear that they’re taking the cleaning/covid measures seriously, the whole place smells super clean and they’re sanitizing everyone’s hands before and after each game, and offering private rooms. We give you ten stars ️️️️️️️️️️

We never participated in this new firm of entertainment called break out rooms.This one is off the main drag of North Myrtle Beach.There is street parking (which can be tough to find) and believe there is more behind the building.We were invited to join in to try it out. A few of the other couples had done them before. Which is good since they have an idea of the games strategy.There are different themes you can choose which adds mystery and fun.We went into the chainsaw serial killer room in which we had to get to the chainsaw in the 1 hour allotted time to beat the killer.You go into a room and search for clues, keys and other items needed to open various locks and doors. There are puzzles and challenges to solve to get the next clue and get into other rooms.We were able to solve all the puzzles and won the challenge with ten minutes to spare.The break out room was fun and we will like to do one of the other challenges offered.

We loved it!!! first time playing an escape room and we cant stop talking about it, we escaped with 33 seconds left. We played the Zombie room and it was sooooo cool.

Fun, well designed room. The zombie room said up to 12, felt small for our group of 10 teens.

First escape room for 2 of us....our group of 4 had a blast. We chose “Escape the Serial Killer”. The staff was great and gave us clues and helpful hints. Our visit was 6:00 pm May 27, 2020.

Local Dad and two sons, 15 and 13 wanted to try a local escape room one afternoon; We made the right choice! We had a blast! This was one of the best we have done. Reservation process is smooth, website is clear and easy to navigate. Highly recommended.

This is an excellent way to spend time with your group while you are staying in Myrtle Beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. We chose the Bank Heist game. It was more challenging than we expected, but we were successful in solving the caper with 3 minutes to spare and a few hints from staff along the way! We would definitely come back....maybe a 2nd time on this trip! Highly recommend!

The folks at Break Out Myrtle Beach Escape Room were great! They hosted our team on a rain out day and the entire team loved it. The team escaped both the Serial Killer and Volvano rooms. Highly recommended.

By far greatest escape room I have been to in a long time. Me and my family came here and literally had the time of our lives. We loved it so much we played 3 times in 1 day. Definitely suggest coming here for a great family day and even meet new people and make new friends!

We were able to escape the zombie house with the cure with only four of us. Great family fun and unique set up. Everything worked great in the room and our game master was very responsive and paid attention so she knew just where we were on our journey when we asked for help. We will come back during our next visit to try to escape another room.

We did the Chainsaw Chuck serial killer escape room! It was very challenging! We managed to escape with just minutes to spare!

This was a great experience. I took my niece 6 years old & my daughter 10 and they had a blast.. Definitely coming back!!! We did the CSI room, a lil tuff. Next time we will do the Zombie Escape.

This was our first time doing an escape room. Its def a lot harder than I imagined. That ought to do this in school for kids. It gets them REALLY using their brains. Wow!!

Amazing experience! We never did an escape room before and are officially hooked! The girls who were keeping an eye on us were extremely helpful and informative. They gave us a few hints to keep us on track. We learned a lot about our family as we worked together and different ones contributed to solving each of the different challenges. I loved to see/hear the encouragement and excitement as we solved each new puzzle.

Enjoyed the volcano room. Decor was awesome, puzzles were pretty fun, and lots of cool different puzzles. Staff was very friendly as well. Well done. Went to 3 in the Myrtle Beach area while on vacation and this was my favorite!

We just did the Serial Killer room and it was a blast! The whole family had fun and the room was challenging but not impossible. (Not that we made it out, but it’s definitely possible).

Weve been to a couple of these escape rooms and this one has was by far the best. We did the Red Beard room.Very interactive with lots clues. Highly recommended. Bonus was that the staff was nice and helpful.

Very beyond par escape rooms. We went to an escape room in Myrtle and we will never make that mistake again. We played 2 games here at break out in north Myrtle after our horror story down south and boy were we glad. I can only imagine how awesome their other games are after playing just two of them.

The Bank Heist was fun. Our game master was friendly and gave an extra clue or two. Also great customer service upon arrival. Clean public restroom. Cold water to drink. We will definitely visit again.

This one was fun. We were able to solve it, eventually and with some hints.

I called and left a message at 6pm to make reservations. After waiting 2 hours with no call back, we went somewhere else. Their voicemail said they were opened and someone would call me back. Disappointing.

My group and I had so much fun trying to escape the zombie room! The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooms involve critical thinking. I would definitely go back!

Great fun finding clues

That was the best escape room place I have ever been. My family likes these places so we have been to several.

There were 4 people in my family and we were paired with another family of 4. This was the first time my daughter and I had gone. The others had done another escape room at the same place. When the young woman gave instructions she assumed we all knew how things worked. She blew off my questions by saying the others will help you. So, my daughter and I basically followed trying to figure out what was going on. If the young woman had explained what the different locks were and how they worked or if she haf read the instructions that she was supposed to read, I think the experience would have been much more enjoyable. The other group that was paired with us was rather rude and didnt have a clue what the words teamwork or sharing meant so I would recommend only going with a group large enough so you are not combined with another group or you take time to talk with the people you are paired with to be clear on their methods. Also, you need to be equally considerate. It could be a good teambuilding experience for a group or a teamkilling experience depending on the dynamics of your group. There isnt any inherent design that makes a group work together although there are one or two things that may take more than one person to do. We did get out in time but I felt frustrated most of the time and really am not interested in going again. Being someone that loves puzzles and mysteries, I thought I would enjoy this as did my husband and son who had gone previously. I probably would have if it were done differently. Its too pricey in my book to try again on the chance that conditions will all be right.

This was our second time going to this one. Just as fun this time with the different room. The rooms are very well done enough to where you can steadily move forward and have just enough time to finish. We finished the red beard room with two minutes to spare.

So friendly and they give help as needed. It was a lot of fun for our whole family.

Most exciting and interesting room Ive played all year. Tons of puzzles, great signaling, lots of momentum; they obviously had fun playing with theme. Everything felt like it belonged on the tropical island.

We had a group of 13 go and it was amazing. They gave us great service and the room was fun.

We had a great time together as a family. It was our first time and we got out with 2 1/2 minutes to spare. Very friendly staff and nice clean facilities.

It was our first escape room experience and we loved it! Just the family and the staff made it a pleasurable experience and we made it our of both the walking dead and the serial killer. Although the serial killer was with 2 minutes to spare with a few hints. I recommend the experience for anyone.

My daughter picked this out for our humongous family of 24 people. This place was awesome from the moment I scheduled our two rooms that we played at the same time. In and out in an hour promptly. This place is crazy busy always book ahead! We travel regularly and these are the best escape games weve been to.

Had an awesome experience in the bank heist room. They have very creative designs for players to advance to the next room, and the puzzles were challenging but logical. Jenn was an extremely helpful game master. She was able to give us hints that didn’t make the answers overly obvious. I would highly recommend Break Out to anyone looking for a fun way to spend an hour with family or friends!

First time doing an escape room. Myself and my 3 boys ages 10-15. They loved it. The place is clean. Hardly any waiting around as they were ready for us when we arrived. Was super fun and the room guide Jenn was super helpful. We did the CSI room, which even my 10 year old was able to figure out some of the clues, which ranged from easy to more difficult. Great time! Its like a live board game that teenagers cant help but get involved with. Thanks so much. Will definitly look into doing more of these when we get back to Ohio.

Break Out is THE best room escape in Myrtle Beach. We have done the CSI, Serial Killer, and the new Volcano rooms and they were all fantastic. The staff there is super friendly. The rooms are so well put together and each have such interesting, fun challenges. We have tried a few other room escapes in the area and they were all TRASH compared to Break Out. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!

Very disappointed with customer service. Google showed that it opened at 11:30. Showed up shortly after to ask for first available game. Called and the girl who answered the phone told me I had to book online because she was busy opening the store even though it was close to opening time. Was looking forward to doing a game, didn’t appreciate the service.

This place is awesome and great staff.

I am a bit of an escape room connoisseur, and I can assure you that Break Out Escape Games is amongst the best in the entire nation.

Definitely a fun filled exciting challenge worth the scare!

Everything about our experience was amazing! The employees were incredibly kind and the room was challenging, but so much fun!!! I came with one other person, broke out with 5 minutes to spare, and wish I could do another. For only 25$, this experience was well worth it and I would recommend to anyone looking for something fun to do!! 10/10.

Absolutely loved my visit! Managed to figure out the room with some random people that ended up in the same group and had a great time. Highly recommend! Finished with 20 minutes to spare. Definitely a challenge but not impossible and a lot of fun!

Best escape room experience Ive had thus far! The puzzles were challenging, fun, and rewarding. Staff was great, Todd and Jen made the experience even more enjoyable. Also, we got to take a sneak peek at their new zombie game, and it is next level! Family had an amazing time that well remember forever.

Our group of 3 adults and 3 children (ages 10-16) had so much fun!! The breakout rooms are quite elaborate (3-4 rooms for each challenge), and they have a number of different themes to choose from (pirates, zombies, etc). We will definitely go to the Break Out again when we are in Myrtle Beach!

We got rained out of one of our planned vacation activities and had never done an escape room. It was awesome! Took the family and got paired up with another family. Stuff was friendly, and the game was fun. A+

Serial Killer Breakout was awesome!! Very realistic set up and the clues really make you think. The staff was really nice as well. Overall a great experience. Will definitely come back to try the others. $25 well spent!

Our Game Master Jen was very sweet. My sister, mother, and I were grouped with 2 other families for a total of 10 people in the room. I will definitely say that we probably wouldnt have been able to solve the escape room with just the 3 of us. It was a lot of fun, many clues to put together so nobody was bored or left out. We did the csi room and escaped with 10 min left to spare! The teamwork was fantastic and Id absolutely recommend any BreakOut Escape room. (Ive done one in pittsburgh as well)
