I love Michaels in a lot of ways but in others, I am disappointed. I went online to look for a specific item so I didnt have to order it online. I checked out Joann Fabric first and Joann is much closer to me so I was hoping they would have what I was looking for. They did not. Michaels website, however, said the item was in stock in my local store so I went there instead despite it being a little bit of a drive, plus it is out of my way. Get to the store and nope, they did not have the items I was looking for!I will give Michaels credit on their coupons though. I had a 20% off one and it applied to my whole order. With Joann Fabric, it applies to the least expensive item and you cannot combine. So I will keep going to Michaels as long as I have a coupon, but I will no longer rely on their website to be accurate.

This location tends to be one of the smaller locations and does not have as big of a selection as most other locations. The staff may be friendly but they really dont know the store or the product as well as they should like they do in other locations.

Great place if youre looking to do some crafts for the holidays stop that I might go and everyone here is very nice

Staff is attentive and kind even though I showed up close to closing time. I am very grateful they let me in and helped me quickly find what I needed.

Perfect place for crafting supplies. They have a large and diverse selection. The staff were very helpful in assisting us in locating exactly what we needed.

In my opinion Michaels is the best arts and crafts store out there. They carry something for everyone from children to adults.The store in North Haven is never overcrowded, and always clean. The items are always neat on the shelves too. The lines at the registers move quickly, so theres never an issue of making a quick stop to pick up a few items.The store is well organized with tons of options in each category. If you did need any help there are actually employees in a store who can help, unlike some other stores like Walmart. They are all knowledgeable about the products.If you currently dont have a hobby, or looking to continue with one, I highly recommend Michaels. The pricing wont hurt your wallet either.

For craft store really wish they sold fabric

I love Michaels. Being a crafter I find everything I need and then some. Never leave this store with just my originally intended purchase. Always go over my budget. They have too many pretty things and ideas.

Ive visited this store twice this week to buy products that it says is in stock online but is nowhere to be found in the store; very frustrating. The store is also quite messy and disorganized!

Staff super helpful however youll end up buying more stuff then you need as you forget that you are not actually ever going to make anything that you imagine you will. For some reason whenever I walk into Michaels I suddenly feel like Im Martha Stewart and thats a good thing.

A lot of items online said was in stock online wasnt in stock in store, be sure to call ahead and if they dont ask them to check if another store has it in stock (went to 4 michaels for something all said in stock but only one had it)

Fairly average Michaels. I enjoy the franchise as a whole. This one was a bit disorganized with boxes everywhere. There were several things out of stock and the unopened box right next to it. Cashier was very nice, floor staff less so.

Nice store, I should have gotten there sooner for the Christmas items. But I got what I wanted and the people are very nice and very polite and thats what makes a great.

Theres a lot of clearance right now (mid May 2020). They provide plenty of wipes and hand sanitizer for customers. Plexi-glass between customer and cashier.

I used to go quite often in the past but since they stopped carrying airbrush supplies, not so much anymore. I do like their discount coupons for things my wife goes there for. Plus I get a 10% military discount also.

Went in for an item that was supposed to be in stock according to their online app. I can only get it in the store and they didnt have it. Found a lot of other stuff but not what I went in for.

The staff here is very helpful. They also have a very wide selection of products, including a very large selection of some less demanded products, such as less commonly used paint colors. They had everything I needed in stock, in store, when I needed a very specific set of products, unlike other stores.

Good service, clean store

They have nearly anything you would need for a quick project or a long term goal. They stock many different things which could be helpful for anyone. The setup of the inside of the store can be a bit confusing to navigate at first, but after you have been there again you know where exactly you need to go.

They did a GREAT job for my daughters birthday party. It was painless for me and a great value!

Find evething you need crafting

Lots of products from which to choose but I found the store difficult to navigate. The checkout representative was friendly and knowledgeable but wait to get to her was quite lengthy.

I do love this store for any crafty projects you may have. They have almost anything you need and its nice to be able to touch it ad opposed to amazon.

Such a nice clean organized store. They have everything you need to do whatever fits your fancy. The coupons can not be beat. You can save your self some serious cash. They also have tons of frames and framing services. The staff is always friendly and helpful. If you have questions just ask. Nice place!

What can I say. Its a highly overpriced craft store... you need to be armed with coupons to make the trip worth it. However, I have been able to find almost every type and grade of art supply imaginable...get ready to wait in line. They are usually high on staff wandering the store and tend to leave 1 or 2 people to check you out at the register. At those prices...hire more cashiers.

I always go here for my yarn because they have the best overall selection and price compared to the other craft stores, and they always have good coupons if youre a Rewards member which I am.

Honestly. This store for how big it is truly had nothing useful in it. Everything seems to be kind of damaged in some way or another. I went to buy a picture frame and all of them were warped badly. The basket I was going to buy had a huge whole in it and it was the only one of that kind. And this just seemed to be a common theme throughout the store.

Michaels would be a great place to shop but the only thing is theres no employees to ask where things are! Its very annoying when you have to walk around the whole store and try to find someone to ask for something you cant find! Ugh!
