Re lining seats the parking lot is empty, The way they do their seating so this way during the virus you keep apart from others. 2 people could Take up a whole row of seating. But I guess its better then not being open in paying rent on a place that you cant use. This theatre is our new go to for movies but you definitely want to use the app to pick your seats

First time here after the remodeling and my favorite is the reclining seats. COVID-19 precautions are being followed and masks are required. Prices arent too bad either. I will definitely return.

The Northwoods Mall Movie Theater staff and Management are very unprofessional.Due to COVID-19, movie theaters have been closed, however, the guidelines for theaters are to check the temperature of the customer and advise them about how social distance before entering the theater room. I arrived on September 11, 2020, to watch the 915p.m. New Mutant movie. No employee had taking mine or anyone temperature who enter the facility at the same time as I did and never address social distance. People were walking around with no mask and this is way movie theaters had a hard time reopening due to a lack of social awareness.The New Mutant starting run time was at 9:15 p.m. around 9:50 p.m. I left my seat to use the restroom, however, since I was the only one seating in that theater room, returning to my seat, the staff decided to shut down the theater room. How can anyone shut down the theater room if the movie was playing just for 20 mins? I asked the staff member why did they shut down the theater room if the movie just started? I was told because they didnt see anyone in the room and shutting it down will make them go home early.When I address the situation with the manager, the manager did not show any disbelief or remorse as to why the staff would conduct an act like that. Since the employee was never professional from the time I enter the facility I just ask for a refund.If this movie theater is going to stay open doing this pandemic. Then the management and the staff need to take everything seriously, be professional at all times, and never make a decision on shutting down a theater room while the movie is playing. That is highly rude, disrespectful, and makes the business look bad.

I really like this theater! The recliner chairs are awesome! Theres video games, plenty of snacks and popcorn and drinks to choose from..

Comfortable leather recliner seats. Reasonable price

We always go to Northwoods Cinema when we see a movie. We normally have a wonderful experience. However, on a recent visit to see a 6:30 pm movie, there were about 15 kids running around being disrespectful, entering and exiting movies they had not paid for. We could tell they had not paid for a ticket because they were walking in and talking loudly to each other about what seats were open after the movie had started. They were so loud and disruptive, an employee had to come in and attempt to have them leave. This continued throughout the movie and one kid even let another in through the exit during the movie. Another employee attempted to make the kids leave the theater all together and the kids (all were roughly 10-13 years old) were yelling and being disrespectful to him. I applaud the employees for trying to do their best. This situation could escalate very quickly if it should happen again and I assume it will because aside from calling the police, there isnt much an employee can do when kids refuse to listen. This made not only our experience miserable but I could tell others were bothered as well. There has to be more the employees are able to do in a situation of this level. Most customers come and pay a decent amount to watch a movie and not have this level of disruption. I will most definitely be rethinking where I go to watch movies in the future. Northwoods has good prices, great seating and their employees are friendly and accomodating. However, if this is the norm for going to watch a movie lately, I wont be going here.

Conveniently located with plenty of parking. Good surround sound/audio/visual and super comfy touch button reclining chairs.Facilities themselves could really use some love.. everything was pretty sticky & carpets kinda stank.. bathrooms really needed a good scrubbing.. but it was Christmas Eves Eve so perhaps they were short staffed and super busy and just got way behind.

Northwoods Stadium Cinema on Northwoods Boulevard in North Charleston is a great place to watch movies. They have well managed facilities and everything enhances the moviegoing experience. This is a perfect place to relax and get away for a little bit especially on a hot or rainy day.

This is definitely our preferred theatre. The reclining seats are amazing and the food is good. My kids love the salted pretzels. The bathrooms are even nice, except they really need new toilet seats. The bathrooms look recently remodeled, but the toilet seats are yellowed and kind of nasty looking.

I always enjoy coming here. The recliner seats are a good touch and the movie selection is on point. Id give it 5 stars but my car has been broken into on multiple occasions while in watching a movie. A few extra cameras or some security would be a appreciated.

The theater itself is awesome, super comfy reclining seats and all that. But more importantly every time Ive gone there, even on busy nights, everyone working there has been amazing. It takes a LOT sometimes to keep a smile going and be extra helpful when youre being slammed at your job - ask me how I know. :P But every interaction Ive had has been so great, and I seriously applaud the staff here.

After the renovations to the theater, its a pleasure to kick back and enjoy a movie here! Theres no more purchasing tickets and hoping to sit with your family and friends anymore now that theyve gone to reservation seating - which I love! Refills on popcorn and drinks are free making prices more reasonable compared to other local theaters. You also pour your own drinks, without having to wait in line. Theater seats are large and comfortable with automatic reclining. Bonus: Theres enough room for people to pass down an aisle without disturbing anyone. My only complaint is cleanliness in the lobby! Although I realize its probably impossible to keep clean with popcorn.

Every seat is a recliner. Dont worry, theyre clean. I wish I lived closer, I would watch every movie there. Ticket prices are very reasonable and the concessions are typical compared to other places, so they dont drop the ticket just to jack up the popcorn. Dont get me wrong, its still movie theater prices, but not more than others with higher ticket prices.

This place has large reclining seats and the most affordable concessions. $10 for a bag of popcorn and 2 medium drinks, known as the adult combo. Plus the butter and shaker flavorings are free and self serve. They also sell alcohol but I am not sure of the selection that they have. The only downside to this theater is the size and age. The important parts, seats, screens, and bathrooms, have been updated but the concessions were overwhelmed with customers and so was the house keeping crew. The trash was overflowing and the bathrooms needed a refresh.They dont play as many previews as other theaters so we missed some if the movie because if the long concessions line. The shuttle design in the carpeting definitely makes the decor feel dated but thats a small gripe. I would certainly return to this theater for the reasonable ticket and concession prices and a nice comfortable seat.

Love it here. Cheap prices both on food and tickets. Wont ever stop going. Shows new movies soon as they come out and you can see them for $5 on weekends in the morning.

We love this theatre, it has new large reclining seats which I find to be very comfortable, more so than any other theatre in the area. Affordable prices on snacks and tickets, cheaper priced tickets before 6pm and they have remodeled most of the theatre so carpets and tiling are new. This is the only theatre we like going to. Restrooms are usually pretty clean too! You also get free refills on the popcorn and drinks, including the icees!

Very largw movie theater with a lot of movie options. It seamed reasonably clean and all the lines moved at a decent pace. Its higher priced than some other theaters but with its extra showing times and large selection of concessions its worth it.

The theatres are always hot. No AC. I was sweating in there today.Our normal movie had a narrator for the blind talking the whole time.Seats are good, employees are always nice and popcorn and soda are free refills.Ill be trying other theatres in town.

Its extremely filthy. Top heavy on the staff with no one cleaning. When we walked in there was sticky floor, smashed popcorn EVERYWHERE. The bathroom had no paper towels and wet stuff all over the floor. Not sure what the wet stuff was. Toilet paper everywhere with stalls that needed to be attended too. I saw 2 staff walking with a broom and not attend to the mess that was ALL OVER the front entrance. I wont be coming back...i think they put recliners in to make up for the lack of cleaning. Just gross.

This movie theatre is off the chain!!!! Finally went to watch Godzilla and the movie experience was SUPERB!!! The price for the early bird is very reasonable and cheap. The concessions was also priced fair and my soft pretzel filled me up. It made me so full I wasnt able to finish my lunch after the movie. The reclining chair was awesome and very comfortable.I thought it was cool upon paying youre able to select the seats.I know where Ill be going to watch movies! This place earns 10 stars!

Went to see a movie today with my girl Sam, and we decided we were hungry for a snack. So, we approached the concession stand and waited in a very long and chaotic line. When it was finally our time to order, we decided to go with the salted pretzel and cheese instead of the traditional popcorn choice. The pretzel and cheese tasted like actual sh!t. Like for real not good. So I don’t recommend that anyone gets it unless you are fond of gross food. Other than that, the experience was great and we’ll definitely be back lol

New seats are great but you cant use THEIR gift card on THEIR website or over the phone. You have to buy them when you get there for the movie (good luck with that) or make a separate trip ahead of time. Weak.

Seats are comfortable. However they do not allow outside food in to the theater. I would understand if I wanted to bring in my own candy and soda that the theater would have. However I would like to bring in my own food, Healthy options to snack on while watching a movie here. If the theater offered fruits and veggies and sugar free items that’s one thing. I would buy here. But If they don’t offer it they should allow you to bring in your own items. Get items you can sell to everyone if you won’t allow outside food. Also while buying a drink I noticed the food stand is unsanitary. Attendants will handle dirty cash and turn around without washing their hands and handle food.

This place is a great place to watch a newly released film. Nice big recliner seats. When purchasing tickets you have the opportunity to pick your seat.

My experience at this movie theater was the best, because I had someone take my seat in the theater and I asked for a manager. The manager Tara helped me get my seat back and tell them the correct seat.

This is the only theater I go to now and I live almost 45 minutes away. The oversized reclining leather seats just make for a so much more enjoyable movie experience and makes it worth the extra drive. They have a great concession selection with beer and wine now too for a decent price.

Let me preface this by stating that I take responsibility for my actions and know I made the mistake. When we arrived at the movie theater I had the ticket barcode pulled up from where I purchased them online and was a little confused on how to proceed. I realized the kiosk was how I needed to get my ticket so I scanned my barcode and it kicked me back out to the main screen. After the 3rd try it did something different and I was still ticket-less so I proceeded to the clearly overwhelmed kid at the end of the line and explained that I was having an issue. Without barely looking at me(because he was rushed with the influx of customers and being the only one there) he directed me to another kiosk and told me to use it. Well that didnt work either so I then had to go back to him and he was not any less busy then. He reluctantly came to assist and could not get it working either so he went back to what he was doing and told us to simply go to theater 5 and pointed in the general direction..... Well I had the info and my screen shot so we went and sat in our seats which still had napkins and straw wrappers in the cup holders. Then some people came in claiming we had their seats but were willing to sit somewhere else so I reviewed my screen shots and realized I had the wrong date(the day before). I immediately told them I had made a mistake and went back to the young guy in the still overwhelmed line and ask for a manager and he paged someone. A lady came out to assist us and already seemed frazzled. I explained our situation about my mistake which she did not seem to empathize at all with. I asked if there were any other seats available(highly unlikely) for this movie and she reluctantly went to check. She showed us that there was not so I asked if there was any way to get a credit for my mistake for another day to which I was informed there was nothing she could do. Again I know the mistake was mine, I am fully aware that there is most likely a policy to not award a credit after the original showing, however this review is from the perspective of a first time customer to the establishment. The only thing impressive was the reclining and spacious seats. The staff we did interact with(the only 2)seemed overwhelmed and unconcerned with the outcome of our business.

The floors were filthy, and the staff was swamped with customers. I kind of felt bad for them. Was visiting the area and the theater is very dated and milkshake tasted like water.But the movie was good.

If you buy a movie that is an hour in advance you will have to wait outside. Even though they have the crappy arcade for you to play while you wait, you cant because they wont let you through. It is a very hot day to be waiting around until they feel like letting us in. Smh

The website listing its times was inaccurate. So, I got there an hour and a half early for the time it was ACTUALLY showing at. So I figured I would go inside and sit on a bench in the lobby, as it was raining outside. I was told I cant, because, people sitting on the benches is a fire hazard. When I asked if he was serious, he doubled down on this excuse and told me to wait outside. I then had to fight my way through a line that was crowded into a small enough space to legitimately be a fire hazard to go outside and wait in the rain. I gave it two stars, because they did show movies, they just didnt know to advertise the right show times. And, I know thism seem like Im reading too deeply, but they seem to roll their eyes when provided with proof, so,..... Id just assume drive and pay the extra for regal cinemas.

Expensive but what movie theater isnt? LOVE THE CHAIRS. They have reclining chairs and its not cramped. You choose your seats and they are labeled which makes going with other people easier because you dont have to worry about where youll sit.

Reclining seats are great..but had one trip where the seat didnt work, which sucks - they push you too upright if that happens. Concession prices are cheaper than most, though the containers are smaller than some places. They still have refills so it all works out. Recently went there during a weekday, and was pleasantly surprised to find the popcorn fresh. Thats not always been the case in other places.

What I like about this theater is the reclining seats and space. You can be comfortable while watching a movie.... What I dont like about it is that no one cleans lobby area. There was popcorn everywhere, wet towels on the corner where drinks was spilled or someone over flowed their cup. It wouldve been a better experience if it was cleaner.
