What a fun venue! Not a bad seat in the house. Even the standing room folks were close to the stage. Great pubgrub food, well made drinks with top shelf liquor. We saw a Journey tribute band. Great show, very welcoming crowd. Will reprise.

Outstanding performance by the Sean Heely trio. But two annoying things about an otherwise great venue:1. The address is 11810 Grand Park Ave, but you cant access it from that door. You have to walk down the street and around the corner between the Gap and the iPic to find the entrance at 11830 Grand Park Ave. And if you push the call button at the door at 11810, you will get a very angry lady who will repeatedly just yell louder and louder that the door is locked and you cant get in, but offer no solution.2. Even though you select seats and get a seat number on your ticket, you dont actually have a reserved seat. It is open seating, so make sure you show up early if you want to be near the stage. None of the seats are terrible, but some are definitely better. For two people, the high top tables on the side are excellent.

Before I speak of the venue, this is no reflection of the show i attended. The talent they bring in is great. The venue is an unorganized joke. It has a ton of potential to be organized. I bought 3 tickets together for table seating, but the table seating was general admission....I have never seen general admission table seating at any venue. Usually when you buy tickets at a venue, they go by the seats you can buy together and cross them off as they go so that group is able to sit together and there isnt mass confusion amongst the staff trying to find seats for your party together. We arrived 30 minutes before showtime and the host asked if my group of 3 wanted to sit together. Well, yes! Lucky for us we were able to. This is a dinner and show type of venue, but again, usually at these type of venues the dinner service stops during showtime so that there arent servers rudely milling about during a performance. Even though they had servers catering to tables the entire evening, it took a server in our area an entire hour before even coming to our table to ask us if we wanted to order, of course asking in the middle of an intimate performance of a show we drove 2 hours to see. The director of the venue was not impressive, as she pronounced the name of the act wrong, and also welcomed us to take photos which I later was reprimanded for by one of the Mr.-Tough-Guy staff members. Overall, not impressed by this venue, mostly because of the staff. Luckily the show I attended was great.

The venue was very nice and very intimate for a show. The servers did a good job of not being too disruptive during the show. There were a few things, though, that they could work on and kind of soured the experience and might make me choose another venue in the future, as DC has SO many. 1) The sensors werent working to turn on 2 out of the 3 sinks in the ladies room and were even difficult to use on the 3rd. The female servers surely use this space and would have reported it, so why werent they fixed? Its a health hazard because all it takes is a small inconvenience like that for someone decide to walk out and not wash their hands. 2) Some tables were not placed with the proper amount of space between them so that people could get in and out without causing a disruption to people at both tables placed too closely together. 3) I ordered the squash salad with chicken and the server repeated the order back to me, but I realized after we left that the chicken wasnt there, but Im sure we were billed for it. In fact, when I discussed the bill with my boyfriend after we left, we realized that we were either charged for extra food or drinks or were given the wrong bill. It was about $20 over what it should have been (after we calculated all the food and drinks and tax), and actually $26 given that there was no chicken on my salad. But he wasnt able to see the itemized bill because they brought it in the dark when the show was still going on.

Saw a concert here last night. Its a very nice and well-run venue. They have a large bar area, table & row seating, and table service for food & drinks. It is roomy and not claustrophobic. The servers and all of the staff are very friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent. The menu was limited which is fine - youre really there for the show - just wouldve been nice to maybe have a burger option. That said, the food we got was so good, and reasonably priced. My only complaint about this place is that they should announce at the beginning of the show where the stairwell/emergency exits are - and I say this bc otherwise the only way out of the place is through two elevators which get crowded and are slow. My concern about this is that if there was a fire or another emergency people should know in advance where the other exits are bc it could really be pandemonium. At the end of the show a staff member did let us know after awhile that we could take the stairs and that was fine - I just feel like bc this place is several floors up in the building Id like to know where the other exit is ahead of time - because there is only one stairwell and there are at least a couple hundred people there. But now I know for future visits. Overall this is a great venue - highly recommend it. Definitely will be back!

The entertainment was very nice. The staff and servers were fantastic. The food was okay. The flat bread pizza was a little over done. Just a note from one cook to another:The cooks should try a different cheese and remove the skin from the pepperoni particularly if it is fresh cut. The skin makes it too tough. Try adding a bowl of popcorn or fresh potato chips the appetizer menu. Anyway, we will be back.

Not a concert hall. Just a small room, with a flat area for the audience and a small stage. Hard to see the performers from most seats. Audience tables are terrible, hard plastic chairs tightly packed, facing each other (not facing the stage). Wait staff running around between the tables during the show, disrupting the overall experience. The loud squeaky noise from audience chairs moving around was so bad the performers commented on it several times.

The sound is phenomenal. The staff is ultra friendly. Its a great place to see a concert. I saw The Yardbirds there and it was incredible! Rock n roll legends playing in a intimate setting with exquisite sound. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and modern aesthetic (everything is brand new). It also has a gorgeous view of the city. Just grab a couple of Bohemians and enjoy the show.

This review is for the Free Summer Outdoor Concerts. I was invited there for the Chuck Brown All Star Band. I had no idea what to expect. Instructions on the website and Google Maps guided me to the parking location by the metro station. Off I went with my lawn chair. I got there a little early and met my friends resting on a blanket in front of the stage/pavilion. There was a Ben&Jerrys ice-creme truck, BBQ tent and a small table with beer and wine to purchase. The music started and within a few more minutes the place was filled with people picnicking on the lawn before the Mansion. Then one person started dancing and by the 3rd song almost everyone got up moving. The atmosphere was what made this evening special. Everybody from little girls twirling, to senior men swinging had a great evening there.
