This is will the only place I will get my tattoos. The artist I go to is Slap and he is one of my favorite people in the world. I never doubt his artistic skills and I know I will always be satisfied with whatever he does. The other artists working here are also so talented and are always a good time. Every time I go there, its always good vibes. You can really tell that everyone loves their job and are proud of their work. Amazing place. Amazing people.

This shop is amazing, every detail of the decor is wonderful, I loved it as soon as I walked in. I met with Michael who listened perfectly to what I was wanting and gave him room for creative freedom. 5 days later my sketch was ready and it was beyond anything I could have imagined. I love my tattoo, it has healed perfectly and the details are perfect. He was so nice and really made the experience so much better with his amazing personality. He will be my go to artist now, just trying to figure out what I want done next! Thanks Michael, youre amazing!!

I went to artistic theories about 2 1/2 years ago to have a sleeve finished. I went to another shop originally and not only was ripped off of $1000+, I got a horrible start of a sleeve. I had seen some of Slaps work from a buddy that went to him, and thought I’d give him and the shop a try. Needless to say, but he finished that sleeve and will be going over the original part to fix it and we’re 3/4’s the way done with my other sleeve. Quality work, knowledgeable and talented artists, as well as fun interaction. They genuinely take the time to make it a great experience!

Michael was amazing! He free drew my half sleeve piece and it was the first time coming to him so needless to say i was a little nervous as anyone would be going in to someone new. I got a tattoo in May of 2018, I came in and Mike was a grand time and so was the whole crew. I came in recently for a touch up and even though it was after the time to get a free touch up Mike waived the fee. I still am in love with my tattoo and I love that it’s an original piece from Mike’s gallery in the shop. Highly recommend and will definitely have more work done in the future.

As a first timer, I was pretty nervous coming in. Once I walked in to the shop and saw how clean and organized they were, I felt more comfortable. Owner and artist, Ramiro Slap Guillen, has easily one of the most diverse shops in the area. They have a variety of styles covered. Everything from New School to realism to portraits can be found at Artistic Theories.The shop also doubles as an art gallery featuring art exhibitions throughout the year.Their friendly staff and modest pricing make it very welcoming to first-timers. After an extensive consultation, its impossible to walk away with anything less than perfection.At the moment Im working on an arm and leg sleeve. My next tattoo will be a full back piece. Artistic Theories is the only shop I would consider for such an extensive tattoo.
