The trail is very nice. Short & kid friendly. Its just the unleashed dogs that create a problem sometimes. They just come sniff you while you hike. Too many of them. For grown ups its fine but kids get scared sometimes when they come & sniff everything around you, even your food. The owners also let them go in the water despite advisories everywhere as the waters used as a supply for drinking in the area. They also have a small town beach. The hike offers some very good views, fishing spots and is quite peaceful. Not to mention the street parking is FREE!!

It was nice to hike up and down the trails, when hot I took a few steps in the lake! There are many openings to the water.
