Staff and gym is amazing. I highly recommend this gym. My daughter has learned a lot. Definitely recommend it.
We love our gym... weve been here for 2 years and my daughter went from rec to excel gold. I love that my daughter is listening to christian music while she trains and they pray at the end of each practice. Sure you you have to volunteer to setup or tear down for a meet and volunteer for 2 sessions with no official discount so people complain, but when you divide the price we pay by the hours you get, its significantly cheaper than other gyms... and Ive never been asked to donate food to sell... we donate 2 2-liters of soda 3-4 times a season! The coaches are great and care about the kids... but everyone has a bad day once in awhile.
My daughter trains at Victory. Wonderful coaches. I really appreciate that they focus on the goals of the athlete instead of making their own goals for the athlete. Smaller gym with a personal feel. Very team oriented rather than fostering an atmosphere of individual competition.
Awesome coaches & caring staff. Extremely welcoming, supportive & encouraging atmosphere. Love that we can stay & watch practice anytime.Weve been here for almost 5 years and with my 3 girls, weve experienced classes ranging from Tumble Tots to the upper levels of team - and all the levels in between. My oldest is about to compete Level 9 & loves coming to train 5 days a week. I appreciate that dont over train & weve avoided over use injuries because of that.
The head coaches care about every single athlete. They help guide them mentally and physically through this sport. I like that there are 2 gyms. Recreational kids on one side and Team on the other. They offer parents night out every month, open gym every Saturday and birthday parties (my kids have e done them all!!!)
This place has workers that have very little to zero patience with children. My grandson was yelled at by a worker. Keep in mind this is a gym that have children all over!! Maybe they need to screen their employees a little better!!! Made my grandson cry not a happy grandma!!!!!!’
I love coming to Victory Gymnastics! The staff is great and the kids all seem to have a great time. They teach them how to work hard and they also pray at the end of every practice which is nice.
I love this place and more importantly, so does my daughter. Shes 7 and was scared to start gymnastics but she loves it!! The teachers are amazing and so patient. I would recommend Victory to anyone wanting to get their kids in gymnastics.
The girls instructors just sound off the warm ups and stand around talking to each other, looking disinterested. They should be doing the warm ups to instruct the kids at the same time. Just like your yoga or zumba instructor does. These girls would learn how to stretch and warm up properly and goof off less. Morals and structure seem to be positive.
My kid loves it here.
Absolutely incredible gym to take your children to. You want a positive experience and positive outcome for your children then Victory is the place for you.
Great coaches and open gym on Saturday is wonderful for the kids.
I love victory so much! I have a lot of passion for coaching all the kids and Im so thankful I get to leave an impact on all of them.
Like Mr. Dixon, I too found the young instructors failing to actually instruct the young students. Too busy talking, ignoring the young ones from the time they get on the mat until they get off. Its a shame because there are a couple instructors that do care but its always the lazy ones that make everyone look bad. With there being such a need for activities for kids youd think there would be a desire to offer a better service for the money you spend.Theyre extremely quick to collect their dues but to actually manage and supervise or lead their teams to offer the best, theyre lacking. It seems as if you are only paying for one day a week, the service level expectation is low and thats not acceptable. Id love the opportunity to speak to the manager or owner about this.
Mr.Dixon, these coaches are just getting the girls ready for team. On team, the coaches are experts. All of the coaches that teach team ( level bronze and up ) have all competed at least level 8 or 9. Also, the main coach and owner of Victory, Doug Belden, was a college gymnast, and also coached many elite gymnasts and actors such as Missy Peregrym. This gym is excellent and is great for kids. They do learn somethings but as long as they try hard, they will move up to team and experience real coaching. You have to remember that the coaches on the rec side are just getting your children ready for the real thing.
My daughter used to attend Victory, we started out in rec and went all the way up to xcel gold! I was displeased on how Doug, screamed at the girls like they were a piece of trash! Even at meets other gyms were talking about him! Also we had volunteer tear down or set up or be charged, not at our Current gym! Also at certain meets at home we had to supply food and drinks for them to sell and profit from, we never received any money or discounted tuition! ! Also if we didnt tear down or set up we were charged 75.00. And we had to volunteer 2 jobs at certain meets or we would be charged! Again no discounts or money for our time and work! Also had the nerve to ask for foam pit donations.... Im like lol not happening here, they claim to be a not for profit gym!! Im happy we left here!
I love this gym and so does my daughter!
I love all the coaches and gymnasts this is the best gym out there!
Was going good until owners poor handling of their decision to stop training boys. Which I would be OK with if they had mentioned it like halfway through the season. Instead yesterday they tell every parent at their end of year meet for the little ones that they have new coaches for the boys. Even let the new head coach speak in front of everyone. Today, not even 24hrs later after saying all is right, they send an email out saying they are cancelling the boys program. The owners didnt even have the decency to tell the old coaches to their face (who were expecting to help coach another 2 weeks doing turnover with the new coaches). Just sent them the same email a couple of minutes before us parents.I get it, not cost effective if you dont have enough boys to train in order to afford upkeeping equipment and paying for coaches. But what a piss poor way to handle it! My opinion is rather than announce early in the season that this would be the last season for boys and risk losing a few customers who chose to go elsewhere early, they would rather milk as much money as they could for as long as they could. You wont be getting another dime from me Victory, let alone the nearly $120,000 you missed out on training my 3 kids through high school.Highly recommend to anyone reading this that you be very leary of sending even your girls here! They care more about maximizing every $$ they can out of you over training your kid to be a better gymnast.Oh and the couple of reviews below about the teenage girls who train the young ones and screw off charting with one another, still true today. Theres a couple really good coaches but the rest need more supervision. So disappointing, well time to go tell my 3 kids the news. Should be about as joyful as dodging sniper fire and IEDs in Iraq. Thanks Victory!
I love victory it is way more better than Bart coners
Being a military family we move around a lot and when we Moved to Ft. Sill one of my sons had already competed and I was in search for a gym.. After calling 1 gym I called Victory and front desk was great.. Our time Started out great and I loved my boys coaches. We actually accepted an invite for my younger son to join.. The BOYS TEAM COACHES were Amazing.. As Time went on we noticed How Owners didnt show interest in Boys program and how team boys quickly got pushed to the back burner.. It was very disappointing and even more when thier Boys Competitive Team program was on the verge of none existiance due to Current coaches graduating and leaving. The current coaches worked hard to find good New Coaches for Boys.. They had it all set up and Made the huge announcement at Rec Meet. Less then 2 days later they decided they couldnt afford a boys program. They sent the notice to parents via Email. This was totally unprofessional and not right to the gymnists, parent and boys coaches.. New coaches turned down jobs at other places to coach at victory to help the program stay alive and help the boys reach thier full potential..The owners are only out to put money in thier pockets and I would not take my kids back.. They owners/ Girls Team coaches dont treat thier other coaches or gymnists right! If I were a parent of rec gymnists or Parent seeking a gym for thier Child I wouldnt send them to Victory. With many gyms in the area you can find a better quality with newer equipment and a safer environment where water doesnt leak in and Mold doesnt grow in gym..
Great place for my kids, really enjoy the atmosphere and the staff is great with kids of all ages.
The coaches onteam are so nice
