Great staff can tell they know what theyre talking about because i know very well what Im doing when it comes to this hobby i come from a family of hobbyist. when they ask questions about my tank i can tell its because i look new to the hobby and they ask the right questions to try and set you up for success. great selection on fish and closest nearby fish store. customer service is great. Only growth I can see this place having is maybe quarantining there fish but that does cost more money to set up so just something for the future if the funds ever allow it.

Definitely worth checking out if you are looking to start or expand on your fish tanks! Different salt water fish and fresh water fish swim around here! A great selection and the employees were friendly. A super neat pet store for fish!

Good selection, but, be warned, they do not take returns or stand behind what they sell. My daughter bought some fish. One of them died less than 24 hours later. She called them, and they basically so sorry but thats not our problem. So, shes just out $10. We wont go back.

Its a good place. just make sure you ask if you need different food to feed and what fish you have in your tank that may not accept new fish well. some tanks only recommend 1 type of fish for certain size tanks. do your research too. theyre great, but no one person knows everything.

Not a single person even looked my way to even say hello.Came all the way here from OKC because I love the selection and variety. They are extremely helpful, they take the time to explain everything to you and answer all your questions. I mean i sat there for like an hour asking questions and the guy helped me with no hesitation. I go here for all my saltwater needs.Update: They are just awesome came in again and they answered any and all questions i had. I bought me a beautiful yellow tailed damsel today. Only been home a few hours but so far vibrant and full of energy.

Went in for some live plants, staff and owner were super knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. Prices on most things I looked at were better than the big box stores. After waiting about 20 minutes for help buying a single fish, I had to take my autistic son to the car because the store was overstimulating for him. My wife and daughter waited an additional 15 minutes before giving up and leaving. Incredibly disappointing for myself and my son.

Such an amazing and reliable aquarium store. They have everything you could need, freshwater and saltwater alike. All fish are in near perfect conditions, and they have some of the most beautiful bettas. Also, their aquatic plants are fantastic, I won’t buy aquatic plants from anywhere else. Their selection of fish is amazing, and if they don’t have what you are looking for they will be more than happy to help you.

Wet Pets by Steve is the only store I go to for anything aquarium related. The animals for sale and the animals on display are all healthy. They clearly know their stuff unlike bigger stores such as Petsmart and Petco. Highly reccomend this place if you live in central Oklahoma.

This place is really cool! I’ve had aquariums for almost thirty years. I found some unique things here. This is one of the few real pet shops left.

Bieng that this hobby is expensive and challenging, I have been slowly putting together a 90 gallon reef tank over the past 2 years. Steve, Paula, and their whole staff have been incredibly patient and helpful with every little detail! They have helped me figure out what was needed for me to complete my dream tank! Even though I still dont have a drop of water in it yet. ( thats my fault, extremely meticulous! ) I plan to visit and purchase all my supplies that I need. If they dont carry it, theyll order it. If they cant order it, theyll tell where you can! From my tank, sump, pumps, protein skimmer, lights, and all the other equipment that I have purchased from them. Bought 2 fish and each fish was about 200$ each. So one week later they died. Went up to the store to tell them that the fish were sick. The lady said she could give me a discount next time I bought something. That day I bought fish food and another item that added up to $20. They only gave me 2$ off. I spent 400$ on fish and only got $2 off?! I’m very upset about this.

Great store for all pets that are wet. We went in as novices just wanting a couple fish for a small 4 gallon tank. They have great recommendations, answer all questions, and they have fish tanks down low where my kiddos could see them.... so it wasnt just a shopping trip but a place where they could watch all of the critters in the tanks. They loved it, and I got all of my questions answered as well as a couple new little swimming dudes.

Great service, down to earth, and nice prices! Josh helped me out on how to start my big project aquarium, and gave me numerous tips on how to it without killing my bank account. I traveled all the way from Choctaw and was definitely impressed!

This is the most awesome aquarium/fish stores Ive seen. They have any and everything you could possibly want or need...salt/fresh wster. The staff is so kind and friendly. Very eager to help. I was there with a friend and she drives about 40 miles to get there. If I end up moving to Oklahoma, these will be the people who set up my aquariums.

I ended up buying several types of corral. They took the time to explain how to feed and care for them.That was several months ago. The corral looks great and is very healthy. Time to make another trip to Norman to add more fish.Great place to shop.

Only fish stuff, I was hoping to find more turtle stuff since my turtle is housed almost the same as fish. But what they did have was great.

I went to Wet Pets last Saturday to buy fish for our new aquarium with my kids. Rachel was our helper. She was AMAZING! Our aquarium belongs to my 9 year old, and she talked about every fish with him and helped him pick out the right combo for our tank. She was so patient and kind with the kids. Our experience with her was so amazing that said 9 year old asked for another visit to see Rachel for his upcoming birthday! Give that woman a raise!

First off... I would like to thank Steve for hiring Daniel. Absolutely a phenomenal worker. First time I went there I just bought plants and it has made every single fish in my tank happy ever since. Then back to back weeks Ive been going there to check out their invertory. Dont have the fish? Theyll order it as soon as possible. They have fish that no other store would carry. Daniel had help me multiple times from water treatment to picking the right fish. Absolutely customer service matters to them. 10 out of 10 I would recommend this for beginners and experts. Also I would recommend Daniel for a promotion.

These guys are amazing! My son had a ten gallon tank with glow Tetras before he won a 26 gallon tank at a pet fair. We decided to get Wet Pets advice on our tank change. Somewhere along the change we developed a problem and the fish started dying at the rate of one a day. We had the water tested but the mystery continued. There were multiple phone calls, Facebook messages, and live visits with Wet Pets and through the whole ordeal they did what they could to help. After the last fish died Wet Pets walked us through recovering good water conditions in our tank in preparation for new fish. They carefully explained how to purge the tank of harmful bacteria and fungus and which fish would be right for our tank. We are now on the road to a peaceful and beautiful collection of tropical fish. Two Congo Tetras and four HY511 Tetras as well as a Ivory Mystery snail named Moby and a Nerite snail named Richard. Thank you Wet Pets for you help and continued support. We will be repeat customers...

Overall not a bad place to purchase fish. However its a little pricey and I am not sure if they were low on stock and havent received their order or they just carry that amount, the selection was alright. We had decent customer service and I attribute that to my husband having been there earlier and took me there when I got off work. The store itself was very clean and well organized. They had a decent selection of tanks and had options for both fresh and saltwater. All in all not a bad place to go if you are on the market for a fish tank or fish. I would suggest calling before going if you are looking for a particular type of fish.I am adding this portion to my review and changed it from a 4 star to a 5 star because of my recent visit to there. Would have done it a few days ago after I left however life happens and it slipped my mind. As I stated I was recently there (wed Jan 16) I am not entirely sure what everyones names are, however the customer service was awesome. I was signed up for their loyalty program and what I had purchased the young lady who hepled me, she carried it out to my car for me.All in all a way better experience and we will be back.

Very disappointed I have spent over $8000 with Steve and purchased fish tanks and supplies since 2006 from them. Yesterday I purchased 4 medium clown loaches at $25 each when they were removing them they found one that had been dead and continued to get my 4 out of the same group.... out of the four two were faded and light colored but I proceeded to buy any way. I did the same as I always do when I introduce new fish I acclimated them to the new water over a one hour period temps and PH very close my tank has zero ammonia zero nitrites and only 10ppm nitrates I have over 90 fish and lost zero in over a year! Well within 1 hour two of the fish were dead, the same two that were not colored up here we are 32 hours later I have two of the four healthy and happy still sooo it tells me the fish were sick and that’s a simple fix imo?? Especially since I have done so much business with them and sent business to them?? I sent photo of my water samples all my numbers and called the store they told me there isn’t a warranty and the owner was doing a online search of any sick 25 clown loaches he has had ???? You have a customer that spent thousands with you just loose 2 of the fish he purchased and you are telling me you can’t give him $50 back no questions asked and maybe an apology?? Just mind boggling and yes it’s $50 it’s also the simple point ofThe matter treat your customers good they will come back........

Great place for fish and supplies. I buy most of my plants from here. Friendly people. Only downside is they only stock very common freshwater fish you can find anywhere else at chain stores. No dwarf cichlids, apistos, or anything of that nature.

Wet Pets by Steve is a great clean and family-oriented pet store. Its a great place to learn about fresh and saltwater animals and to get tanks and supplies for them. They also sell fresh, salt, and Reef water as well as do water testing.

Busy at times but staff are always helpful and seem to really enjoy working with fish. Weve bought fish, tanks, lights, and everything in between and have been satisfied with all of it. The fish for sale always look healthy, especially when compared to the fish at big box stores.Even if you dont keep fish, this is a fun place to go on a Saturday just to see all the fish. Their display tanks are so enjoyable!
