Loved the course...a bit funky compared to more traditional courses, but definitely a favorite of mine. The holes that wander up and through the canyons to its south are extra special and worth the experience. The post-game bar and restaurant was fun. Best fries Ive had in years. Visiting from Denver and would make it a must in future visits.

A hidden gem that deserves more recognition. Some of the best greens in Southern Arizona. Surrounding area is beautiful and you forget you are in a dry, dusty desert.Keith and the staff are great. Its a place to getaway for a wonderful golf experience.

We played this course on March 2 and were very pleased with the shape it was in. The fairways were good and the greens were exceptional. Well worth the 50 minute drive from where we were staying. The women found it challenging but not over the top difficult. Would definatly play this course again.

We dry camped at Kino Springs with our 5th wheel for three days while golfing there. Kino Springs is a wonderful golf course, and the location has some history to go along with it. Keith in the Pro Shop went out of his way to make us comfortable and welcome. The 18 hole course is in excellent condition. The staff are all friendly and helpful. They have an area available for dry camping to enjoy your golf game as well as some wonderful sunrises and sunsets. Coyotes and multitudes of birds are in the immediate area.

I see this place as a hidden gem. Locals do seem to hold a very high opinion of the place. Its an old golf course, but it seems to be well maintained. I did not golf due to my schedule, but Id like to try a round of golf here some time.

The Country Club has a very interesting history associated with it. In the courtyard near the restaurant is a bungalow that was used by The Duke John Wayne. Other notable early western celebrities include Jean Simmons and Stewart Granger. The restaraunt now is no longer in use and the resort overall is in poor condition. Considering the history and the celebrities who once frequented the location it is rather unfortunate that it has been allowed to deteriorate to the condition that it has. The main dining area is in need of a complete and extensive remodel. At the southern end of the restaurant exists the library, the only living history that remains, which in its current state is better left as it is in order to preserve what little remains of the original resorts overall appearance and decor . The shelves still contain books of the era and at the exit next to the south door is a gun rack which contains rifles, presumably original pieces, which still remain today. Two stars for thecondition of the restaurant and 5 stars for the unique history of the site.
