This place is awesome. Its actually scary and the people really play their part. The best ever!! You must go.

Havent been to a haunted trail as good as this one. Fog off of the river makes it even scarier! A little more expensive but worth it.

Fun day watching grandchildren play baseball. First game first ump BAD NEWS. rest of tournament others were so much better. In fact kudos to the second game ump.

Je
Review №4

Only gave 1 star because they have booze. Played for a couple years here until I started noticing that the teams that play there for years get the favor of the umps. They are all tournament teams and use rec teams as “batting practice” (literally been said during multiple games) if you want to play and have fun, and have a fair game called don’t play at summers.

Atmosphere is great, but Id look elsewhere for adult softball leagues. Youll play teams that have been playing out there for years, becoming buddy-buddy with the umps, and leading to a unfavorable atmosphere. The fields arent great, and dont forget to bring cash to pay for admittance after youve already paid to play in the league youve joined. I will never play in a league at this complex, again. Save yourself some drive time and patience and play somewhere else.

AMAZING, GREAT ACTORS.I cussed more than a lady should

The cigarette smoke is a real bummer. Most of the participants are friendly and practice good sportsmanship...but there is also the dudes who peaked in high school, and behave badly. Also, the kids playing on a volleyball court in the middle of a game, while their mother watches a softball game a couple hundred yards away. People leave their trash everywhere.

This is a good sports complex. There are three baseball fields all with electronic scoreboards. The bathrooms are clean. My only complaint is they need some bleachers.

They just need to work on their parking situation. The lot just needs a little updating! They could make a ton more money if they advertised the bar that is very nice here!

The fields were in rough shape when we were out here last. I generally like this park though, the staff is good, you can drink on premises, and the fields are generally in good shape. I can only say that it was likely all the flooding we had earlier in the month that might have contributed

Poorly ran youth baseball league. Your game times always change. Not all teams are treated fair. You will have one team that get early games back to back every week. Then my team gets the late game every week. 12 year olds that are playing to 10:30 pm on school nights every week. AAA teams joining the league half way through with AA & A teams. Game 7 baseball made a poor decision to partner with summers at the river for youth baseball.

The facilities are a little run down, but still serviceable. The onsite ATM costs $3.95 to use. Its inside the bar and they do not accept cards. So if you are going to spend money here, bring cash from somewhere else. The parking cost $5, and they had security with metal detectors. They wouldnt allow a pocket knife to go in, but the were not any signs starting no weapons or no concealed carry. They filled the pool in with concrete.

My husband plays here twice a week and its a pretty nice time for us. He plays ball, I watch, and our son plays with the other kids. Id give it less for the always snotty bartenders, but the rest is pretty great so I didnt. Their pizza and hotdogs are pretty good for a bar.

Review №31

They atmosphere is fine here with the bar and sports. However if you are a group of guys that just wants to go have fun....Not going to happen. They advertise a mens lower league, then pair you against teams who have been playing for years competitively. The excuse is we dont have enough teams, well you might have more teams if you actually took care of the lighting, the fields, the teams who pay money to not play against competitive league teams, or just dont advertise a lower league and lose all of those teams. Figure it out Summers or money is going to continue to walk away.

Been playing out for 4 years now. Seems like every year it gets a little worse, from the condition of the fields to the umpire staffing. Also seem to always have scheduling issues, like cmon guys how hard is it to make a schedule. Also why in the world do players have to pay 2.50 every week to get, a little outrageous when we pay 750 as a team just to play

This place nickels and dimes you for everything. A fee to join the league. A fee each time you show up for each game. A fee for any of your friends and family who want to watch you. Oh, and if you want to bring water to stay hydrated while youre PLAYING SPORTS, thats not allowed. They take the fun out of it because you cant forget for a minute how much youre spending to play sports with your friends. Just charge us once for the league fee and again for the beer. Thats it.
