The food is amazing! I’ve been twice now and it was great both times and you get a lot of food for the price. They do a great job with the presentation of their food as well. Will be going back for sure!

Great food. Got the skirt steak this time. Great flavor heavy on salt though if you dont like that. Cucumber martini was good. Will come back just please have waitress have notepads when ordering. 2nd time in a row wrong they messed something up in the food order.

We ordered today through grubhub and everything was amazing. They put the sides together very neatly and safely. We will continue to order and miss sitting in and having a drink!

The food is excellent. Very nice ambiance and friendly wait staff. They also have an outdoor seating area equip with fans and heat lamps. They also added additional outdoor seating. Seems to be a hip sports bar kind of feel combined with an nice restraunt thats decor features a wall of vodka art, natural wood tables and comfortable seating. Look forward to visiting again.

Great space, friendly staff, daily specials, and the Food, OMG, the food.. I havent had much the the Mini Mac Sliders are my new favorite bar food with the fresh potato fries. And this is the 1st place Ive had Stella Artois Cider which I recommend to anyone that likes Cider beer.

Amazing, hip and almost always full. Very European vibe with all the accommodations of an American Sports bar. I love the music there on the weekends ans I visit as often as I can

Service was great, food was decent, decor and TVs were fabulous but the music was boring pop music.. play some Rock and Roll or current hits.. the music killed the vibe.

Friendly service and good food. Ive never had a problem/issue here. Gets pretty full Friday and Saturday nights. Friendly tip.... Dont park in the neighborhood next to the shell gas station. Police will ticket or tow your car!

Made a joke to the bartender - define irony, a bar across the street from a cemetery. Didnt get it, she is attractive and likely entitled. Good food and affordable drinks, that is what counts!

Animal fries were great! Sub par beer selection. But FYI, there is no COVID guidelines followed by any employees or patrons. Our waitress literally came up to us every time without a mask.

Rude security! Waited for an hour and couldn’t get in because of security behavior, the way how he talks with customers, think like he is king there:“Get out of here” after we used the restroom really quick, who talks like that with customers!Then he started swearing and pushing one of my friends, very unprofessional. Management understood everything but picked their employees side of course.I would never recommend this place to anyone!!!

I threw my mom a retirement party here a few weeks ago and it was a wonderful experience. While they dont have a private room, they had an area with its own separate bar and multiple booths and tables sectioned off for us. I worked with Lukas to plan the menu and to work out some logistics with setup. He was very helpful and made excellent food recommendations. Communication was spotty via email so I would recommend calling if youre planning a party.When we arrived, most of the tables were high which were difficult for the older guests. The staff was quick to replace a number of them with regular tables. Food came out hot and fast. So many people complimented me on the choice of venue for atmosphere and good eats. 5 stars for the staff... from the manager to the hostess, waiters and bartenders. They were extremely attentive and fulfilled my requests whenever I asked. Playbook was extremely affordable compared to most restaurants I was considering. Highly recommended!!

Playbook has great food, so I want to start this out by saying this is not a review based on the quality of their food. During covid my husband and I frequently ordered pick up from here as it’s one of our favorite bar & grills. I was so excited to see them open their patio and parking lot for social distancing dine in options as we want this place to thrive. However, we’re really disappointed to see that the servers are not taking precautions seriously, going from table to table without masks on. I originally didn’t want to post anything because I thought maybe it was a one time thing, but have since passed by multiple times on different days to see servers without masks. The person who brought out our pick up order was wearing both mask and gloves and we saw other employees also wearing masks indoors. Again, we love this place but would appreciate if management enforced all their staff to take precautions while interacting with multiple patrons.

Delivery service is unacceptable! Dont even try to order delivery. The bar attempted to blame grubhub for their lack of organization. But grubhub accommodate more than the actual bar. Bad service at its best

I really appreciate how attentive the servers were without being pushy or overbearing.for context,i visited on a Saturday night and both bar areas were packed for UFC fight. we were a table of twelve, but our server was the right amount of present/attentive, asked about ordering without being pushy and kept everyone’s drinks full.the food itself was so good! definitely a step above your regular ‘bar food’. there were ample TVs and even a DJ after the fight!Five stars for service, venue (the DJ and ample seating) as well as the numerous TVs!

Rating of 4 for grub and ZERO for safe practices. Got busy after it re-opened. We walked there last night and shortly walked out immediately thereafter. Not only was social distancing questionable or absent with patrons (especially among the approximately 40 kid 20-something motorcyclist knuckleheads getting up close and personal with other talking shop without masks), but the ENTIRE WAIT STAFF was in your face buzzing around endlessly wearing NO FACEMASKS! NONE of them!Seriously? This needs to be reported. If you go and stay there then you are an irresponsible, reckless fool if you have parents, grandparents or friends and relatives at risk with whom you make contact or visit.

Nice sports bar. The managers were dressed in shuts and the wait staff and bartenders were nice. There was one waitress that was always in the bathroom when I went in (three separate times) on he phone which seemed a bit odd. But a great bar with good food and my cocktail on hand. Highly recommend.

Food is ok, place is awesome, but the service is kinda slow. But over all it is superb!!!!

This restaurant gives awesome service as well as yummy meals. One of the best place ever. The drinks and food came out quickly and the prices are fair. I recommend this place.

Security like to VIP club and thats about it. Nice stuff. Music I guess depends on the day. Food ok. Restrooms really bad condition. If its raining on outside you should bring umbrella with you and be careful to not trip over the buckets on the way.

You have to stand outside for over an hour for covid. Very vulgar service

Good place for drinks and the food is great. Everything is affordable and plays great music.

This bar is incredible. Starting with a very tasteful and modern theme that immediately makes you feel comfortable, while clearly announcing itself as a sports bar without all of the tackey sports paraphernalia. Additionally the staff is friendly, attentive and professional without hovering. Lastly a surprisingly deep and tasty menu paired with a robust drink selection ties everything together at reasonable prices. This bar was a pleasant surprise and one I am enthusiastic to recommend to anybody lucky enough to be passing by.

Great place and cool crowd people are laid back and chill. Servers do there job to get you what youNeed. I haven’t tried there food yet but I’m sure it’s good hence the 4 star review. Playbook made me feel comfortable and @ home and couldn’t ask for more.

Playbook is a really fun place. I been here on different days and sometimes they have a live band which it makes it more fun. The music is always good, and the overall atmosphere is great.

I absolutely love this place! My fiance and I drive from downtown Chicago, stay in crazy traffic just to eat their good food. The service has ALWAYS been amazing and helpful. We never felt rushed and everyone that works here is always fun and willing to tell you their opinion on the menu. Keep up the good work!!!

I walked in with a group of girls and paid a cover. No problem, its Saturday night and UFC fights were on. Then we went to ask for a table and we were told there were none available but there was space at the bar. We sit at the bar and are passed by not one but four employees. Not once were we acknowledged for the 10 minutes we sat there, but the gentlemen around us were served. Pretty poor service and sad that I have to be a man to be served in this establishment.

Very loud security door guy. I often go this bar and I like it. So I also went there as usual, but there were line so I asked how long should I wait?but door security shout as just Wait !at line! Wt..u could talked nicely just like wait little bit until some customers out. Understand they are busy. But that is not right way. I work at restaurant too.Dude. Learn customer service how to talk to ppl before u get job. This restaurant should hire better guy who knows customer services.Awful experience since I went this restaurant&bar. Terrible.

We stopped in for a quick beer but I plan on staying longer next time. I only give you 4 stars because the pool table is set up all wrong.

In town for the week for work. Its close to where Im staying so came 3 nights in a row. Sandra was great and friendly, the other two nights ..... Staff doesnt look to see you sat down and will talk to someone they know for way to long before asking for your order. I saw this happen to other people to. I do recommend coming here to try it. Food was good. Loved the Mox sticks.

Great for sports events. Food and drinks priced decently. Have a pretty good amount of TVs.They probably should limit the number of people going in. Very overcrowded. Also the restrooms should be expanded if they host that many people. Couldnt even get in. Felt like the entire place was waiting in line. There is parking there and they have some sort of security at entrance. Had a decent time. Just wish people werent on top of each other.

Kitchen is god awful. Order the burgers only good thing here. “Wings” are chicken strips cut up. “Garlic Parmesan wings” was raw garlic tossed with shredded Parmesan cheese TERRIBLE. I’m talking 2-3 solid table spoons of raw garlic and juice. Server GAGA WAS INCREDIBLE. AMAZING MEMORY. unfortunately the kitchen killed the experience for me.

The bar was great. Good services, and the atmosphere was Lively and filled with quality of good music. I enjoyed it from coming from Logan square area.

Fist time there and tried a Burger. It was amazingly good. Nice sports bar and grill. Asked a customer in the parking lot if the food was good... He was spot on! Polish staff and very friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back for a meal .

Fun place to watch soccer games, grab a bite and drink. It gets very busy, especially during games involving Poland. Make a reservation. The staff is attentive and nice. Standard bar food of burgers, sandwiches, tacos and such. Parking can be tricky during big games even with the extra space provided by the furniture store next to it.

What a wonderful place! My sister and I stumbled on Playbook by accident and are we glad we did! I had the brisket on a pretzel roll sandwich which was phenomenal.My sister Debbie had a chicken Caesar wrap with she really really liked. The coleslaw is handmade, the french fries are hand-cut handmade seasoned phenomenal taste wonderful wonderful lunch. You will not go wrong. Extremely reasonably price for the high quality foods you get.

Would of been 4 stars for the food. It was very good. We were celebrating my daughter comming into town for her b-day. The wait staff came over with the dessert, they had lit sparklers, the whole restaurant was watching, we all thought they were going to sing happy birthday, but nothing. Silence.....

Go here often with my buddies to catch a game and catch up on conversation. Excellent food, great for sports viewing as the name suggest and the waitresses are very pleasing to the eye as well. Always plenty of parking, easy to access.
