Management was unprofessional and antagonistic. Do not recommend. Terrible customer service and unfriendly staff. They charged extra if you wanted separate carts, per covid distancing (after explaining our co-player is going through chemo). You will find better fairways and greens on local city courses. The owner also moved the “winter rates” forward a week after speaking to the pro shop, upon arrival, we paid the $35 summer rate on a sup-par course in November. Customer of 4 years that will not be returning, it is not worth regretting later.

Decent little layout... Half of the holes have small greens so irons/wedges better be on point... Some very deceptive greens to read with great undulations... Semi rolling hills the course is laid out on which make for nice scenery... I wouldnt play there full time but nice little track to play now and then... From outside looks like a nice barn; then walk inside to a brand new renovated pro shop, gift shop and more so a very nice little restaurant and bar with 8/10food

The course is in decent condition comparable to everywhere around Lexington. I have played here for 3 years and with the new ownership, I will not be returning. After being questioned 3 times for alcohol before teeing off, we were interrogated after the round for retrieving balls from an out of bounds area. You can play much nicer courses in the area for the price without feeling like you are a convicted felon here. 2 stars for the friendly employee at the counter whose decisions were overruled by the owner.

Golf course in good shape for time of year. The greens were in great shape. My first time in playing course but will start playing it more.

This was nice course. The greens are exceptionally well kept; so putts run on the fast side. A practice green and a driving range are available. Ill definitely come here again.

Really interesting layout - shorter but challenging. Greens were on great shape, there are some fairway spots that need some time to fill-in/repair but I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Great experience.

I use to golf high point quite regularly. It was a relax course where any beginner/amateur could learn how to enjoy golf. It’s never in fantastic shape until the Bermuda grass comes in but last couple of trips, we have been greeted with rude management. Had no idea of new rules and like always we brought a few beers and was threatened to have cops called on us and the other trip when the course was wide open and not even busy, they were harassing us about pace, haha. This is a $25-$30 course and now charging $45. Lost a customer that brought plenty of groups bc of how disrespectful you are to the customers.

Love golfing here. In middle of nowhere but nice course.

Head pro is one of the worst people I’ve ever encountered. He was following our group the whole time asking whether we paid for riders or had alcohol in the coolers.Head pro made our experience the absolute worse. $35 for a below tier experience is absolutely outrageous. Course isn’t nice by any means.If you go, be ready to play 20 questions with the head pro. Not nice at all, and only cares about $.NOBODY PLAY THIS COURSE unless you want to waste your $ and be stalked by the golf pro.Read the rest of the reviews to understand how bad the pro is. Never again.

The tee boxes are absolute goat farms and course maintenance is lacking. If you do go you better take a weed eater, scythe or a herd of goats for the tee boxes.

This course was absolutely the worst I have ever played. No work had been done to the course whatsoever. It was hard as concrete with no grass. They charged $31 to play a round with individual carts. I personally thought with the new owners this course would be improved. I won’t be back, but I hope it is improved for other golfers.

Tee box’s could use some work. Golf pro was NOT very friendly, and unprofessional.

I’ve been wanting to stop here for drinks for awhile. I drive by myself the golf course every day to and from work. Yes, I have one of the prettiest drives in Central Kentucky. Anyway we finally made it and the drinks were great bar is nice. This is in what looks like a tobacco barn and is the home to the golf shop. The grill is only opened till 2 so stopping by after work I was a little disappointed to not be able to enjoy any vittles and enjoy appetizers. The bar is opened till 8 right now and was casual and enjoyable. We really enjoyed a relaxing evening over drinks.

So a year ago I rated this course 4 stars, and listed it as being a fun course to play. Wow how things change in a year! New management has raised the price to $45, which is higher than much better maintained and better designed courses in the area, and waaaaaay too high for this course in general. The tee boxes and greens are nowhere near as well maintained as they were even before the Taylor Made era, and thats sad. The friendliness and hometown feel of the course is gone, and has been replaced with what feels like greed and coldness. Many people that I have spoken with find the course manager abrasive and rude, and that they arent coming back. I loved this place for convenience and fun, but looks like Ill be rethinking playing here.

The course is in great shape and the greens are as good as any course in the area. The pro is very friendly and welcoming. overall a great place but the one thing I dont understand is all the horse stuff and clothing they sell in the pro shop. Not a lot of golf merchandise because all the other garbage they are selling. Need to work on the pro shop and make it a pro shop and get rid of the other stuff. Other then that 5 stars

What a hidden gem this is, course is in great shape and greens are fantastic, they are a little slow but beautiful. There are no sand traps which is a little strange but overall a nice course, the golf pro is the friendliest pro Ive ever met. The only issue I have is i needed to buy golf balls but they are very hard to locate because of all the horse stuff they sell. I finally found the golf balls behind the pillows which I thought was a little strange. They need to put more emphasis on golf merchandise the horse merchandise. Again was a little strange

Got to the course at 3:42 on Sunday and checked in we were failed to be informed that a junior golf tournament was going on till we got to the 3rd hole tee box and here come 10 golf carts passing us by with parents, kids and spectators. We were then told to leave that hole go to 10 and play the back 9 which was packed with everyone trying to play back to back to each other. Didnt help they had a 16 year working the front desk that didnt seem to know what was going on and course marshall that said he didnt even work there. Long story short we paid for 18 played the back 9 and a couple on the front that we could play. Course was a muddy mess and in bad shape. I wont be back save your $30.

Play some golf, have a great lunch, and end with a tour of a fabulous horse farm. Taylor-Made farm is very interesting. The man behind the success of this farm is an expert on all aspects of raising horses. Very homey feel compared to other business oriented farms. You will love it.

Disappointed in the doubling of fees.

Greens and fairways are in great shape. No sand on this course and a few of the have water hazards. Cart path is in bad shape but who cares about that. Food at the club house starts around 11am so I havent tried it yet.

A bit of a challenge although no sand traps. Very hilly terrain that passes through a community. Was very pleased with the layout. Especially loved #18 cutting the corner.

What a massive change in the last two years! Excellent pro shop staff. Clinics for all ages almost weekly. What once was a simple pro shop is now a full blown restaurant with specials every day of the week.

Great course, was in very good shape and staff was friendly. A few weeks ago was my first visit and I have nothing but great things to say. I heard it was in rough shape in the past but I can tell theyve put a lot of work into it, will be coming back again.

Green were actually quick for early in the year

The course was not in good shape and at times it felt and looked like you were playing in a pasture. Got behind some slow players and had to skip a couple of holes. This course is short and seems to be a place for those that are new at golf are for young school kids or teenagers. Would not recommend this course for average to serious golfer. I was very disappointed after reading some pretty good reviews, so Im just trying to keep it real.

This course just changed hands. A lot of work going on, and I think it can be a nice place to play. As of this post ( 2/2017) it needs a lot of work.
