Beautiful museum, alot of great information and history to learn !
Excellent place to visit. I would highly recommend it. We were here for the grand re-opening of the Niagara Scout Museum. Whole place is so full of history. Kids enjoyed seeing the uniforms, artillery and artifacts.
Great museum! Uniforms swords, artillery, small arms, communications gear, optics, art. Free parking, free entry and friendly knowledgeable staff.
Excellent slice of Canadian military history with The added bonus of a Scouting museum celebrating the history of the first Scout troop in Canada
Very honored to visit an iconic place for the common history of Brazil, Canada & the USA
A small well-divided museum that is very informative. Very clean and organized into the different military branch. Best of all, ITS FREE...Kids may not be as interested as adults. Can spend 10 minutes or 2 hours.
It is honoring and remembering military members who were POWs of WWII ... spouse father one of many and deserves recognition as well as fallen and survivors of any war.
I totally agree with Mr Garvin, this so friendly man was a real storyteller. Its much better that someone tells you about the stories behind rather then walking around by yourself. Its for sure worth keeping this place open. We enjoyed our visit very much!
Very awesome museum stumbled in here cuz was bored walking around, very happy i did they have many old guns and other great pieces of history
The Niagara Military Museum is a 5 Star Hidden Jewel. For reasons unknown to me, this attraction does not appear in any of the major guide books, or pamphlets inside the hotel lobbies. I discovered this lovely museum, located inside the old “Armoury Building”, on my way to the Niagara Falls Public Library. The museum highlights the military history of the Niagara Area during major conflicts, since the War of 1812. It has very detailed and interesting displays on the First Floor. An expansion is planned for the near future to include “Escape Rooms”. The Museum Director, Jim Doherty, gave me a personal guided tour of the entire First Floor exhibits with very interesting commentary. This museum is located about one mile outside the main “Clifton Hill Tourist Area” of Niagara Falls, Canada. Approximately a 10 minute walk from “Casino Niagara”, will bring you directly to the front entrance of the “Niagara Military Museum”. It is an absolute must see activity for anybody who is interested in Military History. I highly recommend the Niagara Military Museum for all potential audiences.
Absolutely great tour provided by the gentleman who works there. Definitely would recommend it for anyone interested in military history or Canadian history. Make sure to sign the guest book and leave a donation. This place is worth keeping open!
My grandson and his friend enjoyed it. They were very interested with all the displays.
Very interesting history of our area, learned so much from just a half hour walk through. Looking forward to trying the escape rooms in the armoury soon!
Wonderful little museum with a lot of little pieces of history
Very good very nice people
A cute, tiny military museum. Theyve added an escape room, which was pretty fun.
Had a wonderful time here, the host was absolutely fantastic.
We have been told more about our countries history than we have been tought in school - so many details and stories to every piece kept in the museum - really impressive. The whole tour was for free btw. Thx for taking the time!
Museum is awesome. I am a little disappointed with the gun restoration. Those are not period tires or rims. Its a little bit more then obvious.
A great experience with somany thrilling background stories! Will be there again the next time!
Place is not bad, staff personal usually help with information about thing around. There is free parking available.
The history in this building is awesome
Unique artifacts and knowledgeable people.
Fun tastic
Great escape room!
Worth a stop if your interested in Military history at all.
