Great experience to be back to the theater! Very much attention to keeping us covid free. On Golden Pond was very well done.

This community theater is so awesome I do not know where to begin. Bot only do they have amazing shows all year, they also offer opportunities for kids to get involved in the arts. I cant wait to see their next show.

What an amazing venue. This place is a hidden gem within our community. Amenities, staffing, environment and facilities are all first class. Plus, this building (and downtown) are rich in history. Just spend an afternoon here; youll love the place.

The old post office makes an awesome theater. We watched The Nutcracker today and it was very well done.There is plenty of parking around the building and the area is pedestrian friendly.

Some of the actions of the performers were somewhat inappropriate for young audiences. We visited for the production of The Cat in the Hat. Everyone was very polite and helpful but it is highly unlikely that we will go back!

Everyone needs to go see the play Bright Star! One of the best ever. Oh the emotions it brings.

The staff here is amazing! They really try to give you the best experience when viewing a show. Whoever designed the seating did a fantastic job, every seat gives you a great view of the play. Highly recommended! +++

The Green Room is an awesome theater where live shows are produced. Its nice looking, clean and comfortable. We saw Tom Sawyer there and tonight was the first show. It was funny, sad, scary, touching and totally well done. Lots of singing and dancing and good old fashioned fun.

Saw the play Bright Star with my son and great play and performance by the whole cast. Enjoyed every moment.

I usher here often. The staff and volunteers are knowledgeable and warm. The Green Room also offers a large variety of plays. I very much enjoy and recommended The Greenroom to everyone.

My 7 yr old has taken one semester of theater here & has loved it! Its great to have such a beautiful theater locally with such amazing instructors! If you have a child even remotely interested in acting & theater, I highly recommend The Green Room in downtown Newton!

Went to see Scrooged- everything about that place is wonderful! The performances are always awesome and this was amazing. The performers, sets, and the orchestra doing the music -all of these makes you want to cheer. Great way to enjoy an evening.

First time there tonight. I watched Snow White. I cant wait till May Alice in Wonderland Ballet. Im ordering advance tickets this time. I lucked out and got a seat tonight.

It is a really facility for plays & concerts. We love the Kruger Brothers. The ladies bathroom is nice & roomy, but the commodes have trouble flushing.

I came to support two wonderful friends and had never been to The Green Room. After a little over an hour drive I walked in and knew I was going to enjoy myself. Everything ran smoothly; the gallery walls are beautiful, and I realized the show would be enjoyable but was didnt realize what I was in for... there were so many pleasant surprises and small details added that made it magical and I wish I could share specifics but I dont want to spoil all of the things that breathed life into the world of Seussical. The quality of the show and the support from the community was wonderful and sincerely heart warming - Ill be coming back to The Green Room real soon!

Saw James and the Giant Peach tonight. Very entertaining! The cast was great...A lot of lines for such young actors. They did wonderfully! Will attend future plays.

Very nice place for a play....staff very nice...clean and the performers did a very good job...hope to return for another performance...was not sure about parking....we were in a bank parking lot but it was closed...I think I will become more familiar with the area.

Beautiful place. Went to see the “Cinderella” play for a school field trip. Great talented actors. The kids had a blast. Great laughs and a very well written play.

Hi, for those of you who have never experienced a live group of people performing/portraying/acting in one the Green Rooms plays you are missing out!!!!.....These guys/girls spend several months sometimes rehearsing and countless hours of their lives getting a show put together, if you dont believe me come and Volunteer like I do(light board operator, programmed by a wonderful young lady named Katy, hope I spelled name right) and you will see what it takes to present a show to the public and we do this for free, totally voluntary, also tickets are so affordable and you get an intermission break unlike the Cinemas in the area that cost twice as much for more than one or two people and they sell Concessions as well, only sodas,candy,water so its a very family friendly place to come to and this coming Fri., May 6 2016 is opening night for the Addams Family and it is going to be amazing I know for we are in Tech. week right now for this coming opening, trust me, you will like it, Ill leave a light off for you, actually Ill leave them on until everyone is seated, the Stars will be out also!

Comfortable seating, no problems seeing everything on stage, wonderful help from purchasing tickets through being seated, great performance of The Nutcracker.

We attended Grease and loved it! Our seats were on the outside of the row and still we could see and hear very well.

Went to the Green Room for the first time a few days ago to see Leading Ladies. WE really enjoyed the play, the theater was beautiful and the staff very friendly. Nice to find another great location for see live entertainment so close to home!! We will be watching to see more plays!!

In this wonderful facility, we enjoyed a really good production of the very challenging show The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
