Always pretty clean and the front lady is very nice. We enjoy the double feature since we drive 40 minutes to go and the 2 movies makes it all the more worth it. I do wish the movies would be posted a week or 2 ahead so we can plan better to be there. I love the option for the radio station since it keeps me from wasting my car battery or trying to hear the old broken up sets available. Overall its a great experience for the whole family.

Take in a movie while enjoying the great outdoors. Bring your own bag of goodies; plus they have a snack bar. Enjoy ice cold beer as long as youre not driving. Movies look like some real crappers this week; however they usually change it up every couple weeks. I intend hopefully at least one visit this season. Great place to bring a date and test your shocks/struts.

My family has always enjoyed drive-in theater cinema. This being this first Ive had the chance to visit in Iowa (where not to many are) happen to be a good choice Great environment for my son to his first time viewing theater cinema. The staff and people were friendly; my family enjoyed the time we had. I just wish they had more/louder speakers so we didnt have to tune in on radio, leaving the car on during the flick.

It was a great time out with the wife in years to go to a drive in theater to watch old and recent movies from your vehicle and enjoy the comforts of the outdoors and a show.only wish the web site mentioned need to take a portible radio with you so you can listen to the shows instead of your car radio,or they will loan you one if you would like one to use and return when done. But in all it was a wonderful time at the movies.

Welcomed getaway on a weekend (Fri.-Sun.) night, with a touch of nostalgia. Pricier than a traditional movieplex, but youre outside and distanced, which makes it a confident entertainment destination in the age of COVID. Two persons in one car cost us $21, comparable to a traditional theater.Movies are hardly first-run -- think Indiana Jones and Shrek. But they are favorites, always something for kids, and you get a double feature, which makes it a good value.During peak season, cars line up early for admission (they open at 6:15). We recommend getting there at least a half hour early to get a good spot. The screen is large, and viewable from 80% of vehicle spots. Picture is sharp and clear.Tailgating is the preferred mode of seating. Be sure to take along chairs to view the movies from outside your vehicle. Dress for the season; it can cool off at night in spring and late summer. The sound is beamed over 88.7 FM radio, so a portable battery-powered radio is a must, unless you want to run your car battery down. (They will give you a jump if you need it.) There are speakers on poles that ostensibly hook up to the vehicle exterior, but weve never seen anyone using them.Concession stand is adequate and not overly theater-pricey. Also, they make pizza thats preferable to the convenience-store variety.Oh, no need to leave Bella home; dogs (on leashes) are welcomed and admitted free.

Not bad, once again. Fun little drive-in. Be nice to have the old style speakers on the poles. Great value for a double feature.

The women bathroom is crazy small. So you pay for each passenger, but also a $5 reservation, which does not reserve a good parking spot. Why isnt your ticket your reservation, when purchased online in advance? What is the purpose of a reservation if it doesnt ensure a prime spot? I have been going to traditional theatres (for plays) & restaurants for 30 yrs and never have I encountered such an alternative interpretation. Plus they wanted to socially distance their cars, by going every other stall? Logic pls? Especially for those who werent tailgating?

We went early September, the place wasnt overly crowded. The concession stand had good movie type food, we brought in our own but did grab some popcorn. The screen was huge and had a good picture! Perfect place for kids. We listened through our radio but they had speakers as well. Bring blankets, lawn chairs, and comfy clothes. The double feature makes for a long night! There is plenty of room to leave if you dont want to stay all night. Definitely going back!

This is the closest drive-in movie theater left I think in all of the state it is about a 35 mile drive there and 35 back but it is worth it to show the kids how you can just park and watch a movie as well as bringing in your own popcorn and other snacks so you dont really need to go to the concession stand although we did because I wanted them also to experience that because I have no idea how long this Drive-In will be in existence and I wanted my children to have the full experience I hope Im able to take my grandkids when they are a little bit older

This is one of the last great American drive-ins around and the closest one to DSM, just wished it was a little closer. We love this place and try to get out here at least a few times a year. It really just depends on what they are playing, we usually come out when they are playing 2 family friendly movies. We prefer coming out either early or late in the season, even if it a little chillier, because the movie starts earlier and we still have a 45 minute drive home. But coming out in the middle of summer on a great night is still pretty awesome. This place brings back so much nostalgia from my childhood. They have the field out front where kids play before the movie, concession stand, and the window speakers. Although, a lot of the speakers do not work, we usually bring a little transistor radio. You need to sign up for their emails or check out their Facebook page to find out what is playing.

Very family friendly place. The service was really good. They were able to make room even though they were really full. The only thing I have to say about it is it gets full really fast on a good night so be ready to get there earlier than you think you need too. The food in the concessions is fairly good but a little bit expensive. If you go I would bring food but that is completely up to you in the end. Overall it is a great experience and the staff had a very family friendly atmosphere that I would go back to in a heart beat once the new movies come out. It is also really affordable 16 dollars for two people for two movies I dont know anywhere you can go to a movie for that cheap.

If you live close enough to visit the drive in, do it! Make sure to get there early and get in line. The front few rows have old school drive in speakers but the back rows dont. I love the drive-in! In my opinion, it is the best way to watch a movie these days as the prices in standard theaters have sky-rocketed. Drive-Ins definitely offer more bang for your buck. Awesome Drive-In theater, and the only one left in the state. You can tune into the drive-in radio station to hear the movie from your car. The screen is big and easy to see. There is lots of parking place to accommodate even on some of the busiest nights. There is large areas of grass on the sides and in the front to play or watch the movie from, although watching from the side grass may be a little bit hard to see. The restroom facilities are not very nice. The mens only has two toilets and the sit down one doesnt have a door, and they are quite gross. The concessions have lots of food and the popcorn is very yummy, the large was $6.75 and at least 3 gallons of popcorn. Its awesome that they have double features so its not too expensive to go and take your kids. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.
