Theres not a better course around. Wonderful public course. Main reason for lower rating is the amount of leaves currently on the course and especially the greens. It had been days since some were cleared, which made putting futile on select holes.

Fantastic public course outside of Newnan, GA. Really one of the best publics Ive seen near Atlanta - right up there with Cobblestone. Well-stocked pro shop, great bar/grill area, and a fun, well-maintained course with 5 different tee options and gorgeous views. Definitely coming back.

Not the best place to golf. You have maneuver around Geese droppings . Just messy. Could be better if they cared for grounds more.

I love this Golf Club. Thinking of becoming a member. Course and staff are great! Also enjoy seeing Wyatt in the pro shop!

Great course and excellent staff! The course was in great shape and offered some complexities to challenge a player at any level. My crew and I didnt shoot it particularly well today, but well be back for sure!

Great personal! Great clubhouse staff. Great value. Good course conditions for mid November. I will play again next time in Atlanta.

**In response to owners response** Youre welcome. Its 4/5 because I have only had experience with the clubhouse and never anything more. In all likelihood its 5/5, I just didnt feel like I could post that honestly. 5/5 for the clubhouse, and if I ever get the full experience, Ill be sure to update. Thanks for the response!

I play here weekly, the course is in great shape. Greens rolling well and very enjoyable course layout. Number 4 is a very scenic hole.

Great food, friendly people and wonderful atmosphere! What more could you ask for!

Rain started before l could get started so l went inro snack/bar area and had lunch...GREAT customer service and food was good! Will return if for no other reason but to dine there again...hopefully next time l will be a le to comment on course!!!

I like the course. You can definitely manage the play. My biggest issue with the course is the people who play there. It seems that no one knows how to fix ball marks. I fix at least 3 plus mine when I get on green . I feel if the public golfers would take just a little more pride and ownership of the course they play, we could all help to maintain the greens. My rant here is over. Hope it helps. Btw, the food is good and the staff is great!

Course was in really good shape. Fairways and greens great. Enjoyable round of golf.

Played 7-3-19. Driving range is closed til 2:30 or so on wed. Other than that, I have nothing but praise for the course. My friends and I were very pleased with the course and its condition. The greens were excellent. Miss a putt on these greens and its on you. Highly recommend it. The 18th is memorable to say the least. Staff is top notch. This course is on the level of RTJ Grand national. Play it!

Purchased a Gatorade from pro shop. At bar to purchase cup of ice... Bartender gives me a price thinking I had not paid for Gatorade (ok) I informed her I had already paid. She gets nasty and asks where I paid for it at... (really) Informed Superintendent of situation and his reply is “ That was not very professional I’m sorry but she is just like that (really).. Grounds keepers are Rude.. Blowing leaves (ok) but don’t blow them on me in the middle of my swing....

Used their range and practice facility. Friendly staff. Nice driving range, chipping green with sand bunker and putting area. The golf course is also very nice.

Fun and friendly. Good Reuben sandwich.

Food was delicious: the menu was balanced with a variety of cooked veggies tender and appealing. I enjoyed the sweet potato fries, and reuben sandwich with sauerkraut and mozzerella melted on lightlly toasted bun.

Went to see The Dreamers play with a friend. They were great! And the beer, was good.

We played 36 here on Oct 19 and the course was just fantastic. All aspects of the course were well groomed and I have never seen the greens roll faster (or truer). Ducked into the club house for lunch and signed up for the Special...shrimp tacos. They were out of this world and both of my golf buddies agreed. Pair that with one of the nice tap beers and it made for a wonderful day!

Summer Grove golf club is very good for Newnan people golfing. The course is beautiful and the course condition is well controlled by Club staffs. And the foods of club restaurant is excellent. Please enjoy with your friends and family.

I was a 30 year member with the Canongate group after it was taken over by Club Corp it became expensive and quality of membership went down.Summer Grove is exceptional in member/management friendliness. The course is well maintained and challenging so I cannot blame the course on my poor playing.

I really enjoy this golf course. Its challenging and in great shape.

I always enjoy playing golf here. I like to take advantage of the twilight rate during the summer. I would like to make a couple of suggestions however. 1) offer a 9 hole rate when its cart path only. I am 73 and would have played 9 today during​ twilight for a cheaper rate but 18 is too expensive and too much walking. 2) put in senior tee boxes.
