Chuck E. Cheese

Very disappointed with my experience today. After spending $80.00 for two eleven year old girls to have a great time, the staff(except for the hostess greeting us) made us feel like we were interrupting their day. When the girls went to check out their tickets, they were greeted with “what” instead of a welcoming “can I help?” Also, maybe someone in corporate should check into the quality of their prizes. Guess we will go to Dave & Busters next time!

Its been over 10 years Ive been to Chuck E. Cheese. My mom use to take me to this exact same spot all the time during the 90s as a kid and I loved it. Now, I just want to try the pizza since it has made headline news that their pizza is recycled, so I just had to go down there myself to find out since I loved their pizza as a kid. Im pleased to say their pizza taste very good and was very fresh. I ordered a medium half cheese half pepperoni which took about 20 minutes to get. So from my experience today, I gotta say, the conspiracy theory is just that, a theory and not true as our pizza was damn good and fresh. As for the place it self it looks like its still a great place for kids to have fun. The other kids in the place were having a good time. So yeah this is a good location. I recommend it.

Celebrated our friends daughters birthday. The location was very clean. Employees continuously sanitized the rooms, tables etc. Kids had a blast as well. Games are available and are also socially distanced.

They told you to stay away from each other they are super nice love your guyss work

Good family fun... kids love it n I do as well. Kids love collecting tickets.Food is not that good. Cotton candy was okay. They also sell dippin dots ice cream.

I recently took my niece to the Chuck E. Cheese in Newington, to have a fun few hours. We were the first ones there, and was greeted and helped by a very nice staff. I wasnt too sure about going with Covid happening but I took a chance. They did a great job with social distancing and sanitizing after every person was done on a game. My niece won 208 tickets and was so excited to get her prize. She saw this watermelon slime and wanted it. It was 500 tickets so I told her she didnt have enough. Right away the very nice girl who helped us get our play pass, said that it was ok and she would give it to her anyway. My niece was so excited! I told her thank you so much, and my niece walked away with the biggest smile on her face. That was very nice of her and she made our experience at Chuck E. Cheese memorable. We will definetly be back soon! Thank you!

The place was clean but the reason for 1 star is the employees just dont seem to like their jobs they do not have friendly attitudes at all its always what or wait. What exactly were we waiting for her to finish sending her text from what i presumed by the phone in her hand. A 5 yr old should not say nevermind i dont want any prize due to the attitude the employee had because apparently we interrupted her phone conversation. Never again will i bring my family to this location.

It was clean and not super packed. Kids had a great time.

They still got the old artwork up on the shoe caddy from 1991, but I cant give this establishment any less than five stars due to the fact that when a child attempted to swindle me and my date, posing as our son to use the tickets we rightfully earned, the lovely employee at the counter refunded the tickets and still gave us our prize of a tiny red dinosaur.

Amazing place for kids.... And adults youll see us playing here and there lol. I went on Valentines day. I had a great time. And there pizza with the cheese crust is amazing!!!!

The pizza is amazing, I have absolutely no idea why so many people bash on it, and saying stuff like oh, they use old pizza lSlices from the last customer. Like completely not true. The games are amazing, and you can win a lot of tickets if you know how to play, and I always loved the fact that they sold something, and that money went to different charities. Maybe sell cups for the Amazon next! Great place for children but its sometimes crowded, so dont take your eyes off them.

My little guy had lots of fun. For as busy as it was, it was pretty clean and not especially chaotic. I enjoyed the pizza and we got a fun toddler friendly novelty cup for less than 2 dollars. The staff were very nice and my son was thrilled to get a high five from Chuck E.

Its a really good place to hang out with kids, and the staff are quite helpful. I didnt try out the food due to the bad reviews on how it takes a long time to arrive. They can improve the quality of the gifts that you can get in exchange for the tickets that you win.

Great place to bring the whole family. The kids love it here. You can purchase either points or time for the games. Either you can use your points (tokens on a card) or you can buy different amounts of time As well. Ex. 30 minutes of play time or 60 minutes of play time. You have to wait a certain amount of time in between swiping the play card. Probably somewhere between 15-30 seconds. One more thing if You Go online To Their Website you Can Find Better Deals Than The In StorePackages!!!Just thought I Would share that withYou All lol

I was there to attend a birthday party on 1st of January, 2019!! That was my friends daughters 4th birthday party. The place was nice and clean. Kids have lots of fun and playing options. My 4years son loves that place so were willing to celebrate his 5th birthday over there which is August this year.Well managed, great service ppl, bands music and foods!! Pleasant environment and we had ordered pizza which was delicious, freash, and enough for all. ️

When in doubt about what Chuck E. Cheese to go to, pick this place. We take the kids to this one above the others. The place is clean and the workers are pleasant. Im happy they have taken out the pizza buffet and put the salad bar out for the entire day now. I didnt like to have to go after 3 pm when the salad bar was only offered after that time. My one complaint is limited staffing at the front counter. They only have one person working the register and gift case. We have been stuck waiting for quite some time to order food or pick items from the gift case. Bring in more people!!! We go to spend time but not wait forever to get service!!!!

Entertaining, especially for the little ones

Staff was rude and seemed like they didnt wanna be there

One of the cleaner places and not so hectic here. The food is good yet the service can be better. Ive waited too long for a pizza on days where noone was hardly there . Otherwise the prices are fair and the tokens are now on a card .

Use to be fun and well kept as far as cleaning was concerned.. the food is definitely old and reheated and not to mention the so called salad bar what a joke.. time to find another place to celebrate BDays and chill..

Neat, safe, fun environment.Great customer service once staff are available. Drawback was food quality.Straight into the shower back home to disinfect ... kid germ haven, of course.

I don’t think this place always used to be like this but the carpets are extremely filthy I don’t know how the health department hasn’t shut this down every single ticket exchanger both is broken except for one and all the popular games are out of order. If I could attach a picture of the carpet I would.

Live this place as a kid.. will continue to take my son once they reopen

Prices are a little high but the pizza is better than it used to be several years ago. Staff was nice, place seemed pretty clean. Though my daughters said the womens restroom was nasty.

Kids love it. Way to busy on weekend but weekdays are nice for little kids. Pizzas good. Good selections of games. Good deals online.

Got food poisoning here and died. I got brought back to life. 4 stars, would’ve been 5 if I stayed dead.

Its a great fun place for the whole family, loved it.

Don’t like recycled pizza

Very pricey for kids to enjoy themselves and it’s timed...and the food is also costly and it’s not much taste to it...really need to do better with the food and your rices for kids to enjoy themselves. And the bathrooms are nasty especially the women’s bathroom it’s not clean and sanitary in there

Food is ok but playing games with kids is always fun

I was surprise, the Newington location was CLEAN. It was not very crowded that day, but it was nice to see everything just clean especially the bath room. The food was good while we attended a birthday party. The host was just wonderful, and the birthday boy had a BLAST!

Always a place to have fun with my boys and now with my grandchildren

It was Friday tons of people no seats! Not one. Pregnant women. Line almost to the door and not one seat anywhere. Three birthday parties no one allowed down in the pit. So people made to stand around

Kids parties and an occasional treat. Game play is inexpensive, food is decent, and my son loves it. Surprised that they were able to accommodate my allergies.

Affordable place to bring your kids for a couple hours

Funny mouse man hit on my wife

Great place to hang out with your little ones!

Kids had a great time. Prices have gone up for food and packages.

Had my sons birthday party there, it was great.

I asked one person for lettuce because they ran out at the salad bar. Ten min later asked again 20 min after still nothing. It’s a Wednesday the place was not busy. most staff is standing around chatting and on their cell phones

2 stars because the games were fun. Place was dirty, food service slow and animated show not working.

Best place to bring your kids i have fun with kids n mu wife n fresh n amazing pizza

Employees that I was dealing with were very nice & patient. Service was really good. I will definitely bring my kids here again.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised going to Chuck E Cheeses for the first time in a long time. It was much cleaner than I remember, and was in much better condition. There is more variety in the games, and how you can pay for them. Of course it is still loud, and crazy, but the kids love it.

Just a normal Chuck e cheese. Clean and easy to get too

Good and fun for the kids as expected. My only issue is that out of 6 ticket machines, only 2 started working after begging the staffs to fix it about 4 times

Kids did have fun playing the games and they added some new games that where fun as well but we ordered a pizza when we got there in hope to eat when the kids got done playing. We waited for over a hour and still no pizza, we asked how much longer and they said 5 more minutes for 30 minutes. We had to leave so we again asked about the pizza and they said there was a problem making all the pizza and that they had to restart everything. We had to get a refund because we couldnt wait any longer. I understand that things happen but why make us wait so much more time.

Fun pizza ice cream playtime cake birthday

Food service very poor and very expensive. I suggest eat somewhere else before or after your time there.

Great place for the kids they had a blast

Awesome store! They certainly know how to make magic for their guests. This store has a 1-Stage Munchs Make Believe Band with original Road Stage masks. This store is the smallest in CT, but is definitely worth checking out. They are also the only CT store doing the tablet ordering/table-side service. Definitely a unique feature. 5 Stars for everything mentioned plus the awesome staff. Never any issues here!UPDATE: All-You-Can-Play Games have launched. You can play unlimited games EVERYDAY!!! What an awesome feature, more games = more tickets!!!

I bought a pizza and there was long hair cooked inside of it. 3 long hair and 1 short hair. 1 star is to good for them. I had took the pizza togo so i called the store and the manager left me on hold so long i just hung up. Plan disgusting place

I’ve enjoyed taking my son to This Chucky Cheese for years. We have so much fun playing games and the unlimited games option for a certain time period is a great choice! The only downside to the whole experience was exchanging tickets for prizes. It should be the culmination of a great experience, yet it’s often disappointing as the prizes are very, very cheaply made. The last time my son got a giant whistle, which you would envision making a giant sound, but it was just the sound of him pushing air through it. Just reinforce that the prizes are cheap and expect nothing from them:)

Fun for the kids, pizza was great, entertainment was good too

The kids loved this place but we are too far away

Me son go there every other weekend and we love it

Its VERY expensive. Prizes are very pricey. 21$ for 60 minutes game time!!! 11 for 30. Its too expensive for bday parties. Went today. Smh. Snotty workers. Just not good for kids under 4

Is not what I was expecting, is very small and the staff need more training, I wont recommend it

Because there!Shanes for the kid and Don!t fore get the aldultes like to play to and there pizZa very good

Its chuck e. Cheses!! Kids love it

Great place to have fun with your kids. Its safe and has multitude of arcade type of games. The pizza is good too and for those who look for a healthier option there is a great salad bar!

Fun for the little ones. Can get too crowded. Problems with machines sometimes.

My son loves going to Chuck E Cheese! His favorite game was the whack a mole. Tickets are easy to get and play passes are super affordable.

Waiting for the food took almost an HOUR wait. Staff is incredibly rude, unprofessional and should be re-evaluated. Should I add a little icing on the cake? This place has ROACHES. Is that a pizza topping? I suggest a health inspector to come in and check this whole place.

Its No Longer A Child Establishment Because The Adults Take Over ALL The Games, And Leave The Children Waiting To Play. So Not Fear.

Clean place. Food order took forever to get food. Took forever waiting for someone come to counter to claim prizes.

My 5 year old had one of his best times playing here with the games, playhouse, and singing animals.

The game were fun to play and the good was good.

My son always has a great time

Fun place for the kids - recommend getting dinner elsewhere then going to play.

This place does not even deserves a one-star for their service. The girl at the register kept messing up the order. The food was okay..But we left our table to go play some games,And when we came back they had thrown out our food we had left a large pepperoni pizza that was only missing 3 slices and 4 cups with drinks.I talked to the manager and they said that they will get us a replacement pizza. So we waited for over 45 minutes and when they finally after five times of me asking where was the pizza finally gave us a pizza they gave us a personal size pizza that is ridiculous I just finished paying almost $60 worth of food and only got a personal-sized pizza back this is ridiculous. My kids we so upset. So now I had to leave there and get my kids food some where else. They they ruined our dayMy sister and her kids where on vacation and I thought this would be something nice for all of us to do as a family.... Epic fail...

My kids love Chuck E Cheese and I love seeing them happy. My mother took them today and found that they have switched over to card passes instead of tokens. WHAT???!!!!! Tokens were the best for little kids! They could be given out in small batches, kids loved putting them in the machines, and kids could easily see how many games they had left. With the passes, they just tap their cards on the games to play. I could see how cards might appeal to an older demographic, but its Chuck E Cheese - it really only appeals to young kids anyway. Theyll be happy to sell you a wristband to attach it to for younger children. Within the first few minutes, my 4 year old was too impatient to wait for us to tap the card, and ran off with it by himself, and then promptly dropped it and couldnt find it. There is no quick easy way for a child to know how many games they have left. Not a fan of the new play passes. Probably will not return as often, if at all. EXTREMELY disappointed. I hope all of the Chuck E Cheese locations are not switching to play passes!!

Great place for small kids.lots of fun stuff

Great place for kids my kids love going there also got beer and some food for adults

My grandchildren love the places plenty parking, lots activities to keep the little ones busy, the pizza it really good

World class pizza and live band

My son fell and I think hit his head your staff at the Newington ct location ignored me when I requested that ice and soda be cleaned up

Went last night and there was the longest hair in my pizza. Not to mention that the slices looked a little bit wonky. Not pleased!!!

Love the place.....adore the staff friendly and helpful ..wish the maintenence cleaned the place better. All the kids get sick after going here. Everytime for 8 years now.

Went there got a pizza waited about 15 minutes or so and got a pizza that looked like it was 5 different pizza made into 1 and when I say that you could tell the way it was cut the pieces didnt line up 3 pieces were also somehow smaller then the rest of it when I questioned someone about it they told me that was the way I was getting it when I asked for a different pizza becuz to me it looked like they took old pizzas and made 1 out of it I was told they couldnt not do asked for a refund and was told to leave the store.UPDATE they sent me a message telling me to give them more feed back but gave me a link that doesnt even work if corporate really cares they will give me a real link and this should never have happened in the first place so lets see if corporate sends me a new link or if they just blow it off as if nothing happened

Reasonably okay environment in terms of cleanliness. Staff today had people waiting in line to buy food while they talked to each other on the sidelines. It want even that busy. A manager did inventory while two people waited in line, stating “someone will be with you.” Um why couldnt you stop what you are doing and wait on customers?!!!I also don’t like that they no longer offer the kids buffet. Now they charge you 10 bucks for a tiny personal pizza- highway robbery! Not worth going if your kids are hungry. Play games there but eat somewhere else and tell them Chuck e Cheese management you are doing it. Maybe they will bring back buffet. Why do some busineses want to take advantage of hardworking Americans I don’t know.....

Cleaner than most CEC Ive been to but still CEC....If you have to go to one, this is a better choice

Great for the kids, good environment, great customer service, my food was done under 20 minutes. Fun for the family.

Its been years since I went and I def felt like a kid again as I spent the day playing games with my minimees!!! Fun fun fun!!

Nice place for the kids

Jokey cheese was great

Great place for the kids, my nephew had a blast...you purchase a card with as much time as you like on it, and that card activated all the games...good stuff.

Was a good time for my 5 and 6 year old practically had the place to themselves

Little bit crowded, but kids enjoying, good for a cold day

How does this work?

Great for family

They have been caught and recorded selling reused pizza. One of the employees was fired for recording it on his phone. Check Daym Drops Entertainment on Facebook for reveiw

A parents worst nightmare. Unfortunately the kids love it. Bring hand sanitizer. I also wouldn’t recommend letting your kids play in the jungle gym tubes. The bigger kids trample the smaller ones, and if your child is very young, they get lost more often then not. I can’t imagine how the company would clean and sanitize inside those tubes. Over priced cheap fun for kids. There’s so many other places nowadays. Chuck E Cheese isn’t worth it. Finding a clean table is always a chore. Usually I ask for some spray so I can clean it. The staff is overworked and small. They should definitely have more people on for weekends especially.

Fun place for any age

Really Happy they upgraded it ! Prices are better. I like taking the kids during the week. A wild pack of wolves couldn’t drag me there on a weekend tho.

Place was fun and cheap and kids had a great time. tons of games

A great place for kids to have fun from ages 6to 60

The usual place. Games and food and kids. One of the nicer ones I’ve been to

Everything was awesome except the pizza. The pizza was okay.

Small, boring games/playscape and the staff didnt help keep the kids in check who were being more than playful but outright rowdy.
