Great track, nice easy stroll.
Thanks to all who mask up as the approach others on the trail. Very shady, lovely.
Its beautiful here! But its beautidul every where in this.area. Kids loved looking at the enormous grubs and throwing rocks in the stream.
Very nice easy trail. Beautiful forest and creek. Its hard to believe that houses and cars are only few hundred feet away. Unfortunately its not a loop and at the end you have to either turn around and retract your steps or face busy Coal Creek parkway.
Beautiful park. Even saw a deer which was a happy surprise. Although, the entry point on Google map is incorrect. It kinda leads you in to someones home.
Easy little walk the kids will love
Amazing park so close to the city. Easy to get away for a quick hike after work with well maintained trails. Feels hours away from the city but easily accessible from many major roads.
Very enjoyable trails along the creek. I feel like Im in the wilderness, right in the middle of the suburbs. I hope they end up extending the trails to the lake, or across the creek to 95th way.
No Wheele chair route
Its a great place to be to clear the mind and sit by the creek and enjoy nature and the scenery. Its in the woods which is almost like country scenery. I loved it. Made me feel right at home.
I live a mile from here! Absolutely love it! Your dog will love all the water falls.
Best pizza around àwsome fresh salads nice clean casual atmosphere
Where in the holy hell is the trail head? Google maps takes me to a neighborhood without park access. I drove around the entire perimeter unable to find an entrance.Update: eventually found the “trailhead.” As it turns out you have to walk about 200-300 meters down a utility road before the trail starts. You’d think an area this affluent would’ve invested in a proper sign. Having said that, it was a lovely walk.
Loved this place as a kid still pretty
A good place to spend a moment full of tranquility
Nice place for a stroll
This is such a nice neighborhood trail. But there are a few too many owners who walk their dogs without a leash. My wife doesnt feel comfortable walking alone. she has has several dogs charge her as she walks with owners no where near enough to stop the dog. Most all of the dogs are pleasant, but its not most of the dogs that are the problem it just takes a few.
Beautiful and peaceful. ️
Lots and lots of dogs! Great place for WELL BEHAVED pups to roam off leash.
Someone like their conditioning after the walk...lol
Beautiful location.
Short trails but close to our house
Very natural, low accessibility
Tried to just figure out how to get into the park but no luck. Then a Newcastle cop decided to follow us for a mile. Really dude? Super frustrating and not a welcoming community by external looks of it...sigh.
Keep it up Newcastle. Those Renton people cant seem to handle it.
Beautiful hike.
Great park to walk around
That was wonderfull
Nice place to relax
Absolutely phabulos
Quite, small neighborhood park. Limited play structure. No swings. Two ride on, spring toys. Great for a small nature walk.
Perfect for short dog walks...
Nice city escape in a forested area by a river.
The guy above was right. This place IS a gem! and this place IS hard to find!Im still not sure how I got onto the trail. At first, I took Jones Ave south from NE 44th. There wasnt any parking, so I parked by the side of the road and hiked in over the bridge. Soon, I realized this was just a place for maintenance crews and the trail ended shortly. So, I drove around and took May Creek Drive. Again, there wasnt a parking lot. I did see the trail so I wound up parking on 129th Ave SE and hiked a different trail down to May Creek Park Dr., crossed the street and soon I was on the actual trail. It is a very nice trail but it drops deep into a valley before you reach the creek. Its a beautiful hike, but it can be VERY treacherous at times. The trail is well groomed but it is very narrow and on a few different occasions you find yourself right on the edge of a cliff. I would not want to hike this trail when the ground is muddy/slippery nor would I want a dog or small child with me because of the threat of a very dangerous fall.
Lovely spring walk in the woods, water sounds, well maintained trail. Theft in the parking lot at trail head is a frequent problem -- shame.
Dog love to walk here
Great place to relax
A nice park to walk on trails.
Been here for with a dog, keep in mind that to make a loop here you need to get to the residential streets.
Beautiful surroundings.
