The views are stunning, staff are friendly. The menu is a bit limited at the moment. I did find there was a bunch of tables spent equals amounts posing, on their photos and talking over each other about how great they are. I guess its par to course at a place like this.

One of the best courses in the Seattle Metro. Amazing views from two different mountain top courses! Course plays fairly hard. The fairways can be narrow at times, and if you hit into the second cut, kiss your ball goodbye because you arent going to find it in the long grass!

Great couple of courses. As a high handicap player, it is enjoyable for myself and my partner to play both courses. Coal Creek has great views, while China Creek goes through houses. Both have beautiful landscaping and it is common to happen upon mule deer and coyotes. Hide your food though, the crows are brave.The location is also popular for sunset watching. There is a mini golf course I havent tried yet by the club house that is very popular, too. Ive eaten here a few times and the views are more why I return than the flavor.If you dont golf, I recommend getting a drink and watching the sunset from the patio!!

Very challenging courses but very fun. Views are spectacular as well! Only downside is the carts are older gas-powered carts, and we had issues getting a cart with showing up 45 minutes before out tee time. Only got a cart 5 min before our tee time. For the prices they charge one shouldnt have to wait for a cart 5 min before your tee time.

So many wonderful things to say about The Golf Club at Newcastle and the staff there.1. They do an AMAZING job with philanthropy. My first experiences there were early in my photographic career shooting tons and tons of charity golf tournaments. I saw lots of happy golfers and they raise so much money for great causes. Later on, it was always great to see them donating annually to a charity for which I was on the board.2. As a wedding venue, they set the bar really high for themselves and are constantly working to raise it. They dont rest on the fact that they have one of the most stunning views in the Pacific Northwest, they are always updating the property to stay current and the staff is incredible! Shout out to Windy for all her support on wedding days!Basically, whether its for fun or for work, its a really great time at Newcastle.

Never golfed there, but worked a Porsche event that was staged there summer 2020. It has great views if Seattle and the surrounding areas.

Finally made it to Newcastle. 3.5 stars in my opinion. The golf course was in immaculate shape. The greens were perfect and really tough (youd better practice putting before playing here), the fairways were great and the rough was thick but fair.However for $100 at twilight, Id expect GPS on the carts, or at the very least, a map on the scorecard. If its your first time playing, be prepared to have no idea what youre firing at for half the day. Seriously, its 2019. How on earth do you not have GPS on the carts??The food at the upstairs restaurant was beyond terrible. The sliders (for $18) were small and tasteless and the wings (for $16!!!!!) were bland and some of the worst Ive ever had.So, thats why I say 3.5 stars. You are absolutely paying for the views, which by the way, are stunning.

Fantastic. Great course, scenery, and awesome greens

Did my first wedding of the season here this past weekend. The staff is absolutely phenomenal at catering to every need that everybody had. They were very attentive to the vendors as well. Very well staffed which is also a great plus for weddings. Hands-down there isn’t a more beautiful venue that has such amazing views. Loading in to set up equipment was super easy and the staff was very helpful any question or request that I had. Forward to many more weddings at this venue.

Great place to grab a drink and enjoy sweeping views across Seattle and Bellevue. I hear you can also golf here if youre into that.

Very nice place, went here for a wedding and it was a great experience. The golf course is pretty large and the staff is nice. I would definitely go here again in the future. The whole place was also very clean as well.

Absolutely the best view of the Puget Sound... beautiful! Great combo of golf course, practice facility and both casual and fine dining..summer was amazing sitting on terrace at sunset or practicing pitch shots as the bagpiper started walking up over the hill.

Golf carts were not in good condition. Carts restrictions to path only prepare to walk five plus miles. Green fees were put of proportion with quality of course. Grass wasnt cut very frustrating, top it all off crows stole my hot dog from my cart while I was putting on the 10th green.Go to white horse enjoy a better quality course.

As a city boy, this place is jus amazing. Dont know a thing about grass or golf, or golf clubs. So it gets my 5 star rating because its just so beautiful.

Thought the course was a little tired. The golf cart was worn out too, with bald tires, burn holes in the seat, and no reverse. Directional signs were somewhat confusing, and no hole descriptions

Played the mini golf (rusty putter). Nice putting course for the young kids. During covid, they do not let you borrow clubs and balls. We ended up bringing our own.

Beautiful course! The greens were slower than I figured they would be and the round was very pricey. I did not feel like I was playing a 200+ round. We also had two drinks on the course from the cart girls for 40.00 (ouch). I don’t mind paying for a great round, it just did not live up to my expectation based on price. I did enjoy the views and the clubhouse, I think these were the highlights of my round. The elevated T’s were especially nice. Take a friend or family member, enjoy!

This was gorgeously breathtaking views over the area. Definitely plan dinner before sunset too. There was a bagpiper that plays at sunset on the patio. The food was melt in your mouth amazing. My prime rib you could cut with a fork. Best Ive ever had. I also had the French onion soup and finished it off with fresh and tangy lemon dessert. So good!

Nice course with best COVID19 system I’ve seen. I was first group to tee off and played a 3 1/2 hour round. Course was stacked all day afterwards though. Course is in good condition a few wet spots but we live in the PNW. Had a large buck join me on tee box and saw a coyote as well. Animals are not shy at this course.

Location, location, location! Went to the restaurant for brunch. It was delicious and reasonably priced. Took a walk around the putt putt course and took In their incredible views. The people were so nice. Green fees were a bit pricey, but depends on when you golf. A great experience.

Food and service are top notch! I even brought my service dog inside while we had lunch. The views of the Puget Sound and homes on the hillside were amazing...you dont have to be a member so treat yourself to a divine lunch or dinner here!

This place is amazing on clear days. And the food and service at the grill are superb.

Very mean man kicked us out for no good reason with no explanation. We were doing nothing wrong, just watching the sunset, and the man told us with 0 explanation we needed to leave and never to come back. He came back a second time when we were cleaning up and told us to get out. Very unfortunate situation because I was wanting a membership. Definitely will not be getting my business now, very rude staff. Highly unimpressed.

This course is really nice, with two 18 hole courses, a great practice facility, a great restaurant, and more! The golf club is top class, and it is still a public golf course! The maintenance is good, and the courses are beautiful! A great course for conventions or things like that! A great place!

This place looks like the Playboy mansion, be careful parking your bosses son is not good at parking the Bentley and lets face it insurance wont cover the humiliation of your boss asking if you work here on weekends. The food is surprisingly affordable the service is very good. And the eaves dropping is top notch. Great place to take the out of town guests for lunch. The views are magic.

Great place unbelievable views TOUGH course, 5 star restaurant

We rented the cozy room upstairs for my daughters small wedding. Theres an inviting, warm fireplace, a small living room area, a fully stocked bar, a places to sit and dine on deliciously prepared meals ... And the view cannot be beat even on a cold, wet NW afternoon. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Golf course is fine. They should probably work on the greens and tee boxes, it is a lot of money to pay to have mediocre greens and unlevel tees.

Challenging mountain golf courses of two 18 holes. The views are absolutely amazing, especially during sunset. Their restaurant, Calcutta Grill, serves great food.

What an incredible view. I did not know there was a spot where so much of the Puget Sound region could be seen at once. Sunset was fantastic. Love the bag pipes being played at dusk, too. I need to get a round of golf in there for sure.

Golf is always great and horrible depending on the day and how many swings you take. But this place atleast has a view that is well above par. Pun intended. Thank you for clean air and beautiful views. Ohh and Golf too.

Stunning views all around, the sunset over the Seattle skyline was unreal. Awesome wedding venue with good staff. Worth noting, there are two ceremony spots, with the patio being far superior to the tent. Highly recommend this place as a venue.

Wonderful golf course in Seattle!!!:) I played 8:50 in 9.24.2018. Fairway was wet but greens so fast and solid. Quite chilly today but everything was charming and perfect. Wanna play again.

This place rocks! The views from everywhere are second to none. If you go at dusk, you will see and hear the bagpiper closing down the course for the day. Not to be missed. Go on a nice day and enjoy a meal on one of the outside decks. Views of downtown Bellevue and downtown Seattle.

The course was in great shape and the weather was amazing! The only reason why its not 5 stars is due to the obviously weathered driving range and the condition of the range balls. Pace of play was relatively quick even though my twosome was stacked behind groups of 4 all day. I was able to drop a few balls on the greens and have fun with some of the crazy putts on the undulating greens!

Pro: views are excellent; fairways in very good shape; greens played well despite being aerated earlier in the week. Con: website FAQ about redeeming rounds with players cards is incomplete/misleading; driving range looks awful; one cart was shabby (cigarette burn holes in seats), one carts battery died on hole #2; phone box at hole #9 (Coal Creek) to order food at the turn was broken and had a hornet inside it; no comfort stations on the back nine; the outdoor bar/cigar stand was closed at 3:45pm; the cocktails and the service in the bar are pretty mediocre. All in all: the play is great but the course is far over-priced and does not appear to be well cared for.

I was there for a corporate event and not playing golf but I have to say the best thing about his golf club on a sunny day is the Magnificent view across Seattle and the lakes and the sound. The golf course also looked magnificent and very well kept

The course is nice provided a buggy but had to remain on the cart path. $145 each seems a little expensive for wet September golf. Maybe try elsewhere before booking here.

Greens had some type of ridges on them. A bit bumpy. Also traps are in need of sand. One actually had some type of lining showing through.They were like hard pan. Power cart battery went dead after about 16 holes. For the premium price required to play, the quality is not the same as in the past.
