Went here to see I lecture on Ansel Adams. The location was very comfortable and enjoyed learning about A.A environmental activism and other aspects of his life. Would definitely consider visiting this theater for another artistic pursuit.
I love going hêre and supporting local theater. Attending a Christmas panto is sỏmething Ive done with my mother, sister and daughter for a couple of years and becoming a tradition. The physical limitations of the bldg (theater upstairs, bathrms in basement) can be a bit of a physical challenge, êspecially for the wheelchair set. There is an elevator but you might not know, since on the ground floor its inside the restaurant, but it all works out.
I am an usher at the theater so I have conflict of interest in writing a review. Conflict of Interest was the show I saw last night and it is excellent. The acting is great when you want people to be angry you get really angry people to make you feel sorry for the person getting the bad end. The storyline is great and has a very valuable message. If you were reading this right now it is 11:21 AM on October 6, and I strongly suggest buying a ticket for the 2 o’clock performance today to see it. You will not be sorry. My rating shows as a four but I would give it a 4.8 if I had a way to do that.
Great local theater! Its thriving and adding more and more every day. So intimate, there isnt a bad seat in the house. Definitely check it out.
Last weekend I attended the Saturday Night performance of Willy Wonka and the entire experience was fabulous. There is plenty of parking in the public lots right nearby. The venue has lots of character and is very clean and well lit. All of the staff were very accommodating and helpful. The cast of children and adults were all very high quality.I will keep an eye on the schedule and see about returning again for sure.My one daughter told me that she wants to get up on stage like all of the other oompa loompas.A truly great Family venue!
Project Sparx there is the best childrens theater program. Especially impressed the productions that the youngest kids put on. Lion King Kids was really good.
Great spot in town plenty to do, see, eat and drink before and after the show. Great theater space. Intimate. Most live acts interact with the audience.
Nice little entertainment venue. Nice location and adequate parking in public lots.
It is a nice place for plays and events. It is in an historical building. It is in a good location.
Great place to take your mom on a Sunday for a show..Love the local methuen ballet ensemble.. its so fantastic a local theater brings in local.. old school dancers still.. the featured dancers in their ballets... make me want season tickets
Love this place. I have seen so many good performances.
Wonderful show! Great theatre for a more intimate experience.
Saw great show for good price very comfortable theater. Restaurant attached is very good.
Neat little small, place. Had a fun night laughing our buttstock off at the comedians.
Great small venue with friendly, dedicated volunteers.
Very nice, cozy theater to see a show. Beautiful downtown location in restored building. Will be returning frequently.
Host movies, local theater and concerts. Pretty fun.
Great shows, cozy atmosphere.
Saw Noises Off--it was great fun. Good acting, friendly ushers, small theater.
The Firehouse Center is a wonderfully intimate venue for the performing arts. The jazz concert we attended was great.
I purchased tickets for a play and for the price thought it was going to be more professional. I felt like I was watching a dance recital rather than the Nutcracker. School plays are better than what I saw here and cost way less. They never even changed the lighting for different scenes. Plus it isnt well labeled. I couldnt tell where the actual theater was without asking. In the bathroom the automatic soap dispensers were empty but there was push dispensers. And the first sink I used barely worked. I had to put my hands under the faucet over and over bc it squirted water for onnly 1 second at a time until another sink opened up that worked.
Convenient parking, comfortable seats, and the entertainment.
What a wonderful place! Have seen 2 plays there so far and loved them. Building is beautiful and every seat in the house is a good one!
Great venue to see a local show. Some top taken and a great area to explore by foot. Parking lot (manicipal with credit card ticket for the fee of it is before 6pm) across the street. Great to talk to a local restaurant or ice cream and then catch a show.
Great intimate venue
What a neat building. The exposed wood rafters reminded me of days gone by. The show was fun and the sound system was great.
Rocky Horror picture show always a blast here.
Great venue, no bad seats!
Great, intimate venue. Wonderful space, fabulous view from the balcony. Go!
Nice theater. Not a bad seat in the house. Very good shows.
