This was my third time getting my hair cut by Robert at The Lions Den (I would’ve had it done more, if it weren’t for the four month hiatus due to the covid19 outbreak). Robert gives a great haircut; he’s a very talented barber. He is also a great guy and easy to talk to. His shop has a great vibe and is in a convenient location on Third Street between Grand and Liberty. It’s easy to find parking there. The shop also features a lot of great artwork by local artists. His app is really convenient and it’s great to make an appointment and not have to wait for a haircut. I couldn’t recommend it any more highly.

I chose the Lions Den for my first cut in 6 months and was not disappointed. Rob transformed my hair from chaotic to charismatic. Plus the price was reasonable and the service was professional. Would highly recommend.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars!!! My husband and I agree this is the best barbershop around. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the service is beyond exceptional. It’s clear that Rob takes pride in his work, he always takes the time to make sure you have a perfect cut and style. You couldn’t pay us to go anywhere else!

Can not talk Robert up more lately. I have stopped in to get a hair cut and a beard trim three times since he opened up, only a month ago. His attention to detail is refreshing. His new shop is well done and a welcomed addition, to the Liberty/Grand street.

The Lions Den is a unique refreshing establishment that is more than just a place to get a haircut. The Lions Den is a necessity for the community and the entire Hudson Valley.Barbershops used to be not only a place to get hair care services but also where people could be vulnerable and talk about issues of importance in the community. There were spaces where customers played games such as chess, cards, and dominoes, while having conversations about local gossip, politics, and community affairs. Well ladies and gentlemen that is exactly what Rob and The Lions Den has brought back to the Hudson Valley. When I go I always get the Lion Kings Treatment and I can honestly say as someone who takes my cuts very seriously I’ve never had a better cut. Ive never had a more enjoyable experience in and out of the barbers chair. Thanks Rob !
