This is decent water park for 2-4 hours outing as they dont have much rides. The amenities are ok ok and cafe is not so good as they dont have many options. Not many options for children below 3 years.

I would rate the place as a 3.5 star the simple reason being is because its a nice weekend getaway and the water park is fun also the arcade that they have is also fun took my children to this place today we stayed the weekend at the hotel and got the whole package for the weekend for a decent price $378 for a weekend the only downside is is that there is no free continental breakfast you have to pay for the breakfast good thing that Bob Evans is just right down the road also when I checked into my room maid service done a poor job on cleaning the room bed sheets I had to change myself because theres a pair of womens pajama bottoms inside the bed trash wasnt taken out there was wet towels in the bathroom also it would be nice if the water parks stayed open until 10 oclock rather than 9 oclock because everybody thats not a guest at the hotel end up going to the hotel pool after the water park closes so which kind of defeats the purpose of having an indoor swimming pool when its supposed to be used for guests of the hotel but other than that decent pricing for a weekend getaway

Checked in and was over charged from the price in the email confirmation I received. Lady at the desk said she could not fix it manager had to. It would not be til next morning. Manager was friendly apologized and said her staff member could have fixed it. Room was clean. The heating was messed up and would not blow cool air only hot. Pool and water park water was cold and the staff let older kids rough house to where you could not put your little kids in the pool at lodge or Coco keys. Then I felt that on Sunday as a paying guest someone who just walks in the door for public swim time should not trump me or other hotel guest by not having to wait in line to get in the water park. I did not like that a party came in for a birthday and the man made it clear he was not waiting in the line like the rest of us. Yet the manager he spoke to accommodated what he wanted and overlooked there guest who paid to stay. I feel that the lodges guest who are paying money to stay there should get an hour swim time before opening and after closing to public swim times. Give your guest something so they know there buisness is appreciated for spending money with your company. Parking for guest is ridiculous. You should have a coco keys parking lot separate from lodge guest. The water park did seem like it was overly crowed almost like a safety hazard in the pool areas. Get some more rafts for your park so other people can rude the water slides or lazy river. Water was extra cold. Are first stay wasnt to bad my kids enjoyed themselves. Better then all the bad experience we had at Fort rapids. Nice quick up the road get away for the kids

Its great fun with young kids (4 & 1). We went last year and my oldest had a great time but I felt much better this year about her being safe on the water slides. There are some maintenance items that should be addressed in the bathrooms and cabanas. Also there were 2 slides out of order. We got a good deal and still had a blast on a cold winter day.

The water park was closed due to a pump that needed replaced. No where on the website or the outside sign did it say it was closed. The ice machine by my room didnt work. The front clerk showed me a map of where another one was located and did not say it would get fixed. The indoor pool and hot tub was in desperate need of cleaning and maintained. The room did not have a microwave. The hair dryer was located under the sink but the closest outlet did not work and the hair dryer would only work on low. Should have done more research, they have been in foreclosure since 08/16.

Not a bad get away, but there are much much much better water parks available. This one is geared almost specifically towards little children. Not much of anything to do for teens or adults. I would have given this a poor/fair review on this alone, but I bumped it up to good because we stayed in the hotel, and we were pleased with the accommodations. Its a solid 3+-star hotel, the rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the beds and linens were comfortable.

Great indoor water park for the whole family. Just be careful, the right-most (relative to when you come in) childrens areas water temperature is about 10° cooler than the rest of the park. Overall an awesome place!

If there was something LESS than 1 I would submit.HORRIBLE! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Go to GREAT WOLF LODGE IN EITHER MASON OR SANDUSKY!I called one month in advance to schedule my daughters birthday party. CoCo Keys was closed, so I had to work with the hotel rep. who NEVER returned any calls! I finally went in and was met with two of the most unprofessional front desk workers, no smiles, nobody greeted me as I walked in and I stood and waited at the counter until one of them finally turned around and greeted me. I explained that I wanted to schedule a birthday party including a hotel room for Friday.They called out Bernadette. I explained the number of people, large party, date and was expecting a professional response, NOTHING! We scheduled the date and she gave me this flyer and told me to write down the dates. No pamphlets, NO explanations of what happens next. Two weeks out, I called to confirm, she NEVER returned my calls, so I kept calling FINALLY I spoke to her and she had my date wrong. 1 week prior, I called with the final count, I told her 17 and she asked her if we could please reserve the largest Cabana or area for a large group. When I arrived, they had NO large area, I had to pay for an additional 6 people because she NEVER offered me. I never booked the hotel room because it was not a part of the deal and I ended up paying almost $500 for a birthday party, where we were left in a room, dirty floors, the hot tub was filthy dirty and then closed because they discovered that a bird had died in the vent. The booking of this party was very stressful and unprofessional! The staff upon arrival were unorganized and did not appear to know what they were doing! I will compliment two people, Hunter and Taylor they were the ONLY two people who seemed to care about our group and helped me out! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!

Came to hotel went to water resort lady gave us wrong directions so took a while longer but got there pretty nice size indoor resort kids had a great time. Got back to hotel after coco key closed and dried off, my dad tried to dry off his socks with blow dryer and burned a hole in his sock and then the whole hotel electricity shut off for a bit. then staff seemed confused every time we asked a questions and nobody wasnt watching no kids at the resort. Then at night they closed the hotel pool early claiming because of weather even tho it was indoors. Hot tub couldve been cleaner

10/10 do NOT recommend. Took a half an hour to get TOILET PAPER. Mark at front desk was as helpful as he could be. Completely under staffed. Bed sheets had white stuff all over them!! Room was not stocked and smelled of smoke in a non smoking area. Horrible stay.

The room were not right and one of the tiles on the ceiling in the bathroom fell on my sons head. But the water park was alot of fun. The kids had a blast.

Kids had a blast, and for their interests, we got as much bang for our buck as we would have at the higher end waterparks. Staff was friendly, although not knowledgeable beyond their immediate working location. Cleanliness, while not horrendous, left a little to be desired. Water temperature did not seem true to advertisement.

Our whole party of 16 had a great time. Birthday party was fun, pizza, pop, and cake. Staff was very accommodating. Kids and teens loved the water park and the adults plan on taking them back again. Very tired children on the trip home!!!

It was very child friendly. I liked it a lot. The bathrooms are a little dirty. The showers are broken though. The hotel is amazing and clean. The rooms are very private and the nice.

We stayed in march. Upon check in, they did not have our reservation, even though we had a email confirmation in hand. The did find us a room, after waiting 2 hrs, the air was out! Needless to say the air was out in the entire place! The staff were still cleaning rooms after 7 pm, and complaining how understaffed they were. The balcony did not have screens, so we could not even leave our sliding door open, due to the ducks wandering! Some of the staff in the water park area were rude!Bummed by this stay!

This place is so horrendous, I have no idea were to start. Was told multiple times that everyone in my 3 rooms would be covered for the water park too.. No so as they wanted more $. They charge outages amount off my credit card for amenities they dont otherwise tell you about. Austin who works water park desk offered me the free passes to make up the loss if i filed out a complaint form against the front desk. I filled it out and thanked him for the 4 passes and ill be down the next morning with the kids. The next morning he retract the offer and wanted to charge me. .. This place is a scam beware! btw, the worse off it was that are room check in was 4pm, they didnt have it clean and done till 7pm! 16 people in an anniversary party having to wait 3 hours after check in.

If I could give this place no stars I would......anyways we called and booked our room on Friday morning for a Saturday night stay and trip to the water park. Arrived to the hotel at 11am I went ahead to the front desk to see if I maybe could have a chance for a early check in (when I made my reservation they told me check in was at 4pm) the lady told me the room was not ready to try back again at 2 and maybe they would have it ready then. So my family and I went on to the water park. The water park is not very large but great for the kids. The only down fall is it was freezing! If you walked around the park, parts of it you could feel air coming from outside. We stayed up until 3 and then when the kids ask to go because they are cold, you know its cold! Plus they are very limited on seating, people had towels laid out by the bar area and sitting on the floor. Anyways after we all had got dressed it was about 330 so we figured we could go check and see if our room might be ready since one lady had told us maybe 2. Went to the front desk were there was 2 new ladies working, my husband went up to the desk to ask about our room he came back saying the lady told him it was not ready and it might not even be ready at our told time of 4pm. At this time I went back up to the desk to ask the lady why our room may not even be ready for us at our told time of reservation. After I asked the lady her responds after rolling her eyes at me was that it wasnt cleaned and she cant give us the room until house keeping has cleaned it. I then asked her why hasnt our room been cleaned its almost 4pm and they are still cleaning rooms? After giving me another sassy roll of the eyes her respond was she didnt know and that it might be ready at 4, I then told her I will be back up her at 4 for my keys! Waited around in the lobby until 4 as we were waiting we saw other guest come in and getting up set at the chance of their rooms not being ready at the promised time. 4pm came so I went and stood in a line of about 5 people once it was my turn my room was ready! We got our keys went to our room, only to see that it only has 1 bed! We are a family of 4! My husband said when he called he had told them we needed 2 queen beds for all of us. So we called down to the desk for them to tell us they have no other rooms available and theres a pull out in our room ( right because we paid all this money to sleep on a pull out) my husband then asked to speak with a Manger the lady told him that there was no management here on the weekends and they will not return until Monday. So basically we are stuck with our room that we didnt even want or pay for. Anyways on our way to dinner we walked through the lobby were we saw anywhere from 10 to 15 people standing in line. The lady and the front desk was standing on a stool or something yelling to all customers that she can not give them rooms that hasnt been cleaned yet!) Then a man from the line yells back then why havent they been cleaned its 530 in the afternoon! Her response was she didnt know! Then he yells then let us talk to your manager! The lady at the desk says she doesnt know where they are and shrugs her shoulders and the man says back you mean to tell me you dont know where your manager is? That you cant get on the phone and call your manager? The lady says nothing! We were told no one under management was there on the weekends, she was telling him she just didnt know where they was at! That night we all froze due to the heat not working in our room ( we didnt even complain since we could tell nothing was going to get done) waiting to call back on Monday I do belive this is something people should take to the better business Bureau! Ive read in many other post the same thing had happened to many people! Awful place!

Any 5 stars is BS. Front desk is rude and non helpful. The only hotel with no free coffee,($2 per cup? Its not starbucks) also no free breakfast. We paid for a family deal with pizza and drinks and food bar was 90 minutes late opening we ordered our pizza through a mob and they said 30min it was 2 hours. For the money they make and what we paid.... go to wolf lodge.

So out dated. Poorly cleaned. Someones socks were next to the bed. Poptart and pretzel in hideaway bed. Just yuck.

This is by far the best water park ive been to in a while! The life guards were very friendly and attentative you could tell they were all very hard working! Will come back soon ️

Beautiful place with great potential. There is a breakdown in staff communication and lots of small issues that added up to a not so positive guest experience overall.

I had guest in town from out of state and recommended they stay at Coco Key. I was very disappointed upon my arrival to the room for a visit. The nonsmoking room smelled of stale smoke. The room was very stuffy. We later learned the hotel air conditioning was out. In my experience of traveling normally when things are not up to par compensation of some sort is offered for the inconvenience. No compensation was offered to my friends that were guest of the hotel. It was advertised that room service was available until 11 try to order some food at 10 only to be told room service was closed for the night. I will not be recommending this hotel in the future.

Parking was kinda hectic waterpark was fun hotel room was great real homey they didnt have the board games as we were told the food was great the workers wasnt rude the beds reminded us of being at home overall great family vacation definitely will go again

This place is absolutely horrible. My older daughter stopped swimming after about 15 minutes because she said the pool felt slimy. My 6 year old daughter almost drowned because there was no lifeguard watching the one side of the lazy river, and some older kids knocked her out of her tube and then she got trapped under it. Fortunately I was able to jump in and get her out myself. The lifeguards were not enforcing any of the rules, and it was making it a dangerous situation. Right after their mascot walked by with two people following him (including a guy with a first aid kit), the lifeguard at the playground by the baby slide hurt his foot and was holding a towel over it, and completely not watching the playground So a baby almost went face first down a big slide (because mom couldnt get around the lifeguard who was now blocking the steps.) After about 10 minutes of the guy not doing his job at all they sent a replacement, who was wearing a lifeguard shirt with something yellow splattered all over it. The water in the bathrooms is HOT. I mean third degree burns hot. And there was no soap in the dispensers. And the parking sucks. Any one of these things wouldnt be a big deal, but all together its too much. Also Fort Rapids and Cocokey in Cincinnati are WAAAAY bigger and nicer.

Disaster if you try to book a party! had to call the party coordinator 3 days prior to my event to try to pay my deposit only for them not to be there. was assured a call back but NOPE, not a call back, had to call LATE Friday and talk to a manager and she finally got the coordinator Chrissy to call me back the DAY BEFORE MY PARTY which consisted of 16 kids, and 8 adults.after the time in the party room we stood in the lobby for a half hour in our swim suits while the girls at the desk tried to figure out how to ring up our party! The party coordinator wasnt there (called off sick) so nobody else knew how to do anything. they had to call her on her personal cell phone to be walked through the process! after being frustrated with a room full of anxious children in swim suits for a half hour I asked if we would be compensated for the problems leading up to that moment. big mistake as that lead into an argument and everything I said I had an issue with I was told its been taken care of now. I paid the total of $408 I was told included the $100 deposit I had paid two days prior. When I mentioned that the whole ordeal was very unprofessional and I was displeased, a man came from around the corner and introduced himself as Larry, the General Manager. He expressed he heard the entire conversation and asked what we were unhappy about. I took him through my week of not having contact with anyone up until the half hour they cut us from our swim time for the party. I was being mocked by his attitude and his comments, being asked why I was upset that I had to wait a few moments for them to ring me up! I reminded him we had a large party of children in swim suits who were anxious in his lobby and felt that as a business they should have more than ONE person who can handle a party event in cases such as the one we were facing where the party coordinator was not at work the day of our event! After arguing my point and still being mocked I announced I was done trying to explain myself and headed toward the doors to the water park. before the door closed the entire staff that had been behind the desk all burst out in laughter as if it was a joke! I was disgusted and shocked by the level of professionalism of the staff! I checked my account via my cell phone to find they had over charged me by $153 dollars! I had 4 transactions pending from their resort! ($100, $350, $50 and $53) so I had to go BACK out to the desk and showed them my online banking and the transactions. Had to wait another 15 minutes while she got back on the phone with someone to try to figure out the problem. I was then told they had no idea why that happened and that I would have to make a copy of my bank statement and a copy of my receipt showing my total was only $408 and email it to the manager who would then send it to the accounting department to be looked at and handled! WHAT A NIGHTMARE! NEVER AGAIN!These people offered NO compensation for the mess they put me in NOR did they even APOLOGIZE for the mess!

CoCo Key is a fun place to go, but its in need of repairs and could use more rafts.By 1-2 oclock it was so crowded you couldnt help bumping into people.

It is such a beautiful place, especially since the new landscaping crew has been kicking butt!

UPDATE: THEY ARE NOW CLOSED - OUT OF BUSINESS!!Slides were not working but they let us in for $10 a head. The kids still had a lot of fun.

The experience was ridiculous and I have been trying to get my charges correct for a week now! Poor customer service, rude U knowledgable staff, my room was double booked so they gave me an upgrade and then charged me for it! Found condoms in my cleaned unused room and a red ant mound outside on my patio. Never again if you paid me to go there!

Its a little smaller then expected and the food is pricey but overall my kids 3 and 6 loved it.

I was absolutely not pleased with any part of the birthday party I had there for my son! 1st off I had to call 4 times to book the party, was first to that anyone over my 12 ppl would have to pay $30 the. I was told $20, which its $20 to just swim and $30 if they want pizza too! We never received our birthday cake so good thing I decided last minute to buy one! We had no one that came in and checked in our group, we had to ask for our drinks cups plates ect. No one had any clue what was going on! A bunch of teenagers running the place behind the counter taking selfies! Worst $400 I have ever spent on a party! And to top it off we had to clean up our selves and the apparently dont give tokens any longer for the arcade room! I have had 2 other parties here in the past and never had such a miserable unorganized experience!Amber Barber

I like the pictures of the water park. And this place looks WAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY bigger than fort rapids. But fort rapids is permanently closed because of the bed bug situation and this made people get sick. So, sadly, fort rapids is gone FOREVER! . But today, my mom and I are going to my moms friends daughters birthday party.

Poor management, restaurant is over priced for what it is and does not open at night during the week. The Cherry Valley Lodge needs serious love with updating. Would not recommend to anyone at this point

Lets see where do I start.... called to reserve an executive suite a few days prior to our arrival, when we got there they had us in a standard room, I pointed this error out and the front desk said they fixed it. When we went to the room it was a standard suite, went back again to the front desk and they finally got it right. The room... the fireplace didnt work, the plate on the front fell off it when you went to turn it on. The jacuzzi jets barely worked and sounded like a jet plane, I fell getting out of the tub because the handle bar wasnt attached. The refrigerator fell out of the cabinet onto my daughter when she opened the cabinet, my husband had to adjust the legs to prevent this from happening again. There were no sheets or blankets for the pull out couch and took about an hour to get them. The room smelled horribly of body odor, it was sweltering hot in the room and couldnt adjust it, the remote controls were literally crusty, the bed was probably the worst bed I have ever slept on, the ceiling in the bathroom was chipping off and falling in, the ceiling tiles in the closet were falling down and there was a very strong mildew odor coming from the closet/ dresser area. I was really looking forward to having a spa day and the spa was closed down till further notice, this is not posted on their website, nor do they tell you. Oh and there was bridal shower they failed to tell us about and we had to park in the muddy grass in a parking lot with only about a quarter of the lights working. The hotel pool area had the hot tub out of order all weekend, and there was a group of loud inappropriate kids in the pool area that no one ever addressed. Now for the water park... there were multiple slides closed and bring your own towel because you will never get one in the waterpark. The kids were unimpressed with the waterpark so they wanted to go to the arcade but more than half the games are broken and theres no one there to get your prizes from. Oh and since today is MLK day the park closed at 4 instead of 9 and no one told us that either, I overheard it. I was even told at check in the the waterpark was open till 9 pm. Save your money and go somewhere else!!!! We have visted several times since they opened in 2006 put they have steadily went downhill, they maintain nothing and do not seem to care about their guests!!

Probably the worst indoor waterpark Ive been to. They do the bare minimum to keep the doors open. Its not totally run down but def not kept up. I hear a lot of complains about the rooms but I personally cannot comment on them as Ive never seen the inside. What bothers me the most is they charge you $15.00 if you are just watching. Seriously? So Im renting a plastic chair for a few hours. The food is HORRIBLE. Think of really crappy school food that is over priced. There is sooo much garlic on the pizza you could kill Dracula with one. The outside of the facility shows its true color. Stains all over the siding, plants that havent been trimmed in over a year, cig butts EVERYWHERE, pot holes all over the place. Its a dump but the kids had fun. Veryyyyyy humid so be prepared if coming in the winter

The place is dirty and the life guards are kinda mean. They are always closing down things all over the water park. So only half of the park is open most of the time. I stepped on a bandaid in one of the pool! Gross!

Our first time there and will honestly probably last..took hour to get there spent over $200 .took my two grandkids 7 and 1..my 7 yr old grandkid I will say had a blast so may take her back but my poor grandbaby thats 1 was so cold her lips turned blue ..it was water as soon as you go in to the right..

It was a nice water park and not really crowded which is,nice with a five year old....but wouldnt recommend anyone to stay there around 11pm the power went out my 5 yr freaked out was up all nite scared holding my phoNE for the flashlight finally around 4 am it came on. So we were tire to go to the waterpark that day.and was told pretty much o well they wont make it right. I would just like my family 4 pack to go to the waterpark...since we could not

In general the staff is unfriendly. Check-in took 40 minutes due to inefficiencies at front desk. Grounds and exterior are unkept and dirty.

Paid alot of money too stay here. we got here at 1 took the kids to the water park the staff at the water park were mostly rude left park at 4 and checked in too our room. get to the room and the bathroom needed cleaned the main light to the room was burnt out had too have them come and clean and change the bulb left and went back to park and had to deal with more rude staff came back too room get kids ready for bed and get couch bed out and theres no sheets for bed had to call desk and get linens waited 40 minutes for those . we will not stay here anymore

Filthy Nasty!!!! Pulled out the sofa bed for my kids and found 2 urine stains and koolaid stains all over the mattress pad. They gave us a new room and that it had used sheets with dirt still on them. Also the couch cushions had some white stains on them. Needless to say we left!!!

Was here today February 26 2017 one of the lifeguards puked in the pool and they didnt stop the flow of water and yes all the pools go to the same filter told management about it and they said he was being sent home thats all so yes I am pissed and will always tell everyone to not come here
