I love Gallery Aferro. Its a beautiful space operated by extremely generous women who believe that art and artists are both needed and valuable aspects of a vibrantt community, and that art and art spaces should be readily accessible to folks on both sides of the creative and buyer spectrum. Convenient location in downtown Newark.

Worth checking out. Ive been visiting this Gallery for a few years, follow them on Instagram for alerts on events, including their highly rated annual silent art auction. Quickly becoming a Newark institution.

Small but really nice work, had anniversary ceremony there for are local Union.

Great events year round, inspiring, one of my favorite places to visit during Newarks annual Arts Fest in Oct, to see the artists working spaces as well as their art, and so many in one place (20)!
