Oh my goodness. This was our first time doing an escape room and it so much fun we already did a second one! My partner and I are now completely hooked on escape rooms and cannot wait to unlock another one!How refreshing during this year quarantine where we cannot do anything fun or new. We got to use our brains a different way. There were fun surprises! It was challenging. Social Distancing was super easy considering we only played with our own party, with masks.Thank you for two experiences that, each time, completely made my week.

I was searching for a great escape place for my 1st time experience and this place is it!!!! Im the kind of guy where if Im going to pay good money for a good time I want every dollars worth and I got my money worth at this place. I had a party of 5 and we lost the game bit we had so much fun in that 1 hour that I wanted to close the door and not let Emma(guide host) in lol. Emma was AMAZING as well very respectful and full of life and energy. The kind of guide you want at any place of entertainment. I did the heist and I truly recommend anybody that is going for the 1st time to try the heist because you will definitely get your money worth and gain experience for the next game,( because you will return back to play a different category trust me.) This place is GREAT!!!! I dont impress easily either. I just wanted more!!!!! I wish I can stay here for hours thats how great it is.

This was actually my first escape room experience and it was very fun. I ended up playing all the rooms with some friends and all of the rooms were enjoyable and just challenging enough for us. My favorite was the heist and I recommend that room for any art lovers. The game guides were always very nice and helpful. I managed to get through some of the rooms with just one friend but they are all good for smaller groups as well.

We celebrated Thanksgiving at The Escape Game trying to solve the Heist. It was an amazing experience and we were really pumped up. The props were high quality and the staff was amazing in particular JC. He was very patient with me when booking the game and helped us navigate the game. He was also very encouraging. We will definitely try another one at this location.

This was the most fun I’ve had in a long time. I went with 3 friends and did the Art Heist. Kyle was an amazing game host and would definitely recommend him to anyone. Thanks to Ashleigh we now have a place we’re definitely going to return to. Would highly recommend this escape room to anyone! We will be back very soon!

Definitely a great escape the room! A lot more intricate than the ones I have been to in the past. They even let us see some of their other escape rooms after we completed ours. And since it was my birthday, they surprised me with a birthday pin inside of a birthday card and a special birthday sticker! Will definitely be coming back for more!

I used the the virtual escape room with friends across the country. (Thats a huge bonus of the virtual rooms). I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the set up and sign in was. It was easy to organize and send the info to everyone participating. The actual game was so fun and just easy enough to do over the computer. The group I did it with liked it so much we did a second room a few weeks later. I highly recommend the virtual rooms for a fun and safe way to make some memories with friends in the comfort of your home, no matter where that is.

So since they reopened, Ive done a total of 3 games here and Ive had an excellent time. Its clean and a great experience for friends and bonding! Plus if youve done a lot of escape games, they have a bunch of different ones that have different feels to them. Plus the staff is excellent. Their general manager let us know of their offers and we were able to get a great discount on the third game Ive done there. I highly recommend this place!

This place is exceptional! I’ve been twice and each time I walk out laughing and out of breath from rushing to beat the clock. I sadly did not escape Prison Break, but did complete The Heist with 2 minutes left! Bring a couple friends or family, and enjoy. It’s worth the money.

The Escape Game in New York is awesome. I went here for a first date on Sunday and we got to check in early. We did Gold Rush and it was very challenging but a lot of fun. We ended up escaping. The staff is very nice/friendly. I would def go back. Because of covid, only your group that you book with does it. I’d recommend having more people though to have a better chance of escaping.

This place was amazing! The staff was great. They made me feel really comfortable and we’re really friendly. We had Kyle and he was great. He was very helpful but no too helpful. I recommend this place for anyone!

After my first experience at The Escape Game I couldn’t stop myself from coming back until I play the rest of the games. The game guides are extremely friendly and helpful. My husband and I arrived a little late meeting my SIL and her boyfriend at our 5:10 slot however were greeted by incredible energy. We had such a great time working together solving the room (beyond solving the room - just the thorough, immersive environment. So much fun!) that we ended up booking two more experiences that SAME DAY! We were offered awesome discounts and had amazing service. My friend and I came here for a fun activity to celebrate my birthday and we had the best time ever! We started with the gold rush but since we were having so much fun, we decided to do the special ops as well. We escaped both rooms with minutes to spare. We decided we have to come back and finish the other 3! These rooms are challenging but it def shows you how well you can work as a team with someone.

I’ve come twice now and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff is awesome - so friendly and helpful! Jefferson was great.The games/rooms are SO well done. You totally get transported to the scenario. A-PLUS PLUS!

Escape room is so much fun! I came here on a Friday night and the staff was amazing! Everything was extremely well set up and ready for as we came in. The instructions were simple. Try and get out.

One of the BEST escape rooms I’ve been to in a long time. Not only were the rooms challenging but they were actually exciting to do. The rooms are elaborative in design and actually are quite surprising where they lead you to, literally. Highly recommend!

I absolutely loved The Escape Games. I did Gold Rush & the Special Ops. I’m actually planning on going back to do the other 3 rooms that they have. These rooms were super interactive. One had a slide another had an elevator. I absolutely loved it & thought it was the best escape room we’ve been to, can’t wait to go back.

So fun! Went originally with coworkers and then came back with friends. Great staff and customer service, fun games AND MY TEAM WON!!! (Just sayin lol). Very clean and well organized too.

It was from the best escape rooms i ever visited. A lot of cool stuff. A lot of investment was put into it. Both interesting clues, and thinking ones. Very immersive. I very much recommend!!!!!!

Our friends and I attended the prison break. The immersion was amazing and the puzzles were hard. It was such a great experience with my friends, I definitelyyyy wanna come back again. We had such a fun time, the experience was incredible and I HIGHLY recommend. The rooms were super immersive and the clues, props, and set design were top notch. My wife and I already booked another room!

The team here is awesome ! And the games were pretty challenging but really fun. Even the most puzzle minded person would find it challenging. We tried solving the “The Gold Rush” but ran out of time. Certainly will come back and give it another go.

Kyle was amazing ! We did the gold rush experience .. there was four of us & luckily, we beat it with 2:29 left. Kyle was helpful .. but not too helpful, he made it fun and made it special for my best friends birthday! 100000% recommend this place !

My friend and I tried Mars in Chicago sept,4,20 and we had a blast. When we got back we decided we wanted to try it again with more friend and try a harder room so we picked prison break and it was awesome. The staff was very nice and accommodate us being that all the players didn’t arrive at the same time. The facility is super clean and they require for you to have on your mask at all times. Im going back thinking of completing “The heist”

I’ve played Mission Mars, Special Ops, Goldrush, The Heist and Playground and eat game was just as exciting as the one before. Such a great time spent with my friends solving puzzles and escaping!!

So so SO much fun! I travel a lot for work and have done a few rooms across the country and this was by far my favorite!My friends and I did Gold Rush as a party of 3. We figured it out with a few minutes left to spare using all three of our hints. We had so much fun as we figured out each puzzle! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun and collaborative activity in a city that loves to isolate us!As amazing and thorough as the game was, one my favorite parts of the experience was the enthusiastic staff! Madeline was incredibly friendly and helpful at the front desk, and both Max and Matt helped guide us with our hints throughout the game. You could tell all three of them love their jobs and want to give a great experience to the guests! Thank you for an amazing evening with two of my best friends! We can’t wait to come back and try one of the other games!!

I’ve been obsessed with Escape Rooms and this place has the best plays ever! Every step and clue is so clear and thoughtful. They trigger smoothly, which is the most crucial part for a great experience!

Dave and Sam were just so amazing. We had the best time. The game was so much fun and the staff were really helpful. It was my birthday and they made me feel so special. I will recommend this to anyone visiting New York and such a fun activity on a rainy day. Really great experience. Thank you to the staff and the curators.

The puzzle was challenging but, with teamwork, possible. Such a feeling of accomplishment :) oh! and big thanks to our game master, David (he remembered one of the people in our party) and the rest of the crew for giving a birthday card to the one celebrating. You made him feel like a rock star!!!

My group has done many escape rooms before this, and we have all agreed that the Escape Game was probably the best place we have been to. We did the Gold Rush room with five people and made it out with 13 minutes to spare. The design of the room was so well thought out and there were a variety of different puzzles and something for everyone with a different skillset to do. We are already in the process of booking our next room here and will definitely go for one of the more challenging rooms.

Had a great time with co-workers at this escape room. We did the Playground (the easiest option they have) with a group of 8, and made it out with less than a minute to spare! Staff was also very friendly and gave us a tour of the other rooms - would definitely come back for another game!

This was my first escape room ever, I came here on 03/14/2020 and played Prison break. I had so much fun and really enjoyed my self due to the circumstances of whats going on in the world today. The environment was kept clean and organized. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely come back when its a little safer to do so. Prison Break was awesome and would recommend if you enjoy a challenge.

This experience was super fun and worth every minute. Communication is major key and with the group we got placed with we were able to work together to solve majority of the game. Unfortunately we did not escape but for it being my first game it was awesome. Definitely want to book again.

The rooms and props are high quality, the people working here are friendly, both stories were good, and the extra board game escape boxes are super cool. A fun, innovative escape game experience! Multiple rooms that are all equally as exciting. I have completed 4/5 rooms at this location and thoroughly enjoyed each escape. Compared to some of the other games in New York, “The Escape Game” features more advanced technology in my opinion. Be sure to stop by or visit their website for my info.

It was so much fun! The staff is great and they help you with everything to prepare you for the mission. They give great visual clues and verbal clues when you can’t figure out the visual one. In addition they are knowledgeable of the area with other fun things to do around the area and good places to eat. This is a place to check out for sure!

The Escape Game is by far the best escape room company that has ever trapped me! The variety of puzzles, the creative twists, and the attention to detail put it in a class by itself. I havent done all five rooms (yet), but I find it hard to pick a favorite out of the few Ive done (but Gold Rush surprised me with how amazingly it tweaked a common escape room theme). Game master was friendly and attentive (Samantha). The guy at the front desk was accommodating and very friendly. The room we did was Special Ops. It was very interactive, high tech and challenging. This was AMAZING! I went to the Playground escape room with my dad and two friends. We escaped just in time! I definitely recommend this place. You’re never locked in, it’s family friendly, and most importantly, it’s fun.

My boyfriend and I just did the special ops with a couple that we just met today. It was a lot of fun, challenging and really engaging. What a great way to really push on communicating and using team work! Absolutely will bring a bigger crew next time!

My best friend and I traveled to NYC last week just to come here for an escape room!! We both did one escape room prior to selecting the challenging yet thrilling game called Special Ops! David recommended Special Ops and honestly this was perfect for us. It made us think! When I said “It made us think” I mean, really think! LOL! Although we did not make it out in time, we had a great time overall! Mark my words, we’ll be back! Highly recommended.

Played Prison Break with my friends this week and it was amazing (escaped with 44 seconds to spare )! The staff here was very welcoming, personable, and just all around awesome. Especially Dave at the front desk, he was such a great conversationalist and really took care of us before we got started. Our game guide Kayla was incredible! She was the perfect balance between keeping the game challenging yet solvable. It was my birthday and they even gave me a card and birthday pin to celebrate (so cute). I love escape rooms and this was definitely one of the best ones I’ve ever done. I’ll be coming back for sure :)

Production was high and puzzles were interesting!

This was such a great experience with the family. We had done other escape rooms like 5 wits and the one room escape rooms and this was a really great mix between the two. We will definitely try and come again when we can.

We did the Gold Rush room, just my husband and I. We have done probably a dozen escape rooms before and this one was awesome. It was definitely tough with just the two of us (we got out with 1min 40 sec to spare) but the production quality was far and above most rooms we have done before. I highly recommend The Escape Game.

I’ve played other escape rooms in New York but nothing comes close to this one. Here they go the extra mile to really immerse you in the game and the world. This was amazing! We did prison break and it was our first time coming to an escape room! We solved it with 2 minutes left and it was a blast. We were working together and it was exhilarating. I did the Special Ops room with my friend while I was visiting the city and it was so much fun! David was a great game guide and gave us a perfect amount of hints to keep the game tough but doable. Although we didn’t make it out in the end, we had an awesome time and met some new friends in the process. Definitely challenging but a great time! I love escape rooms and this was one of the best companies for it.

I had a wonderful time at the prison escape game here. The game itself had ingenious puzzles and very high production values. The staff were very helpful. Even given the games complicated setup, the mechanics of the game ran exceptionally smoothly.I very much recommended this game to experienced puzzlers and newcomers alike. After all, there are always hints available.
