Not the most comfy seats if youre watching a long show. The cast is super talented. I went to see In The Heights. Im definitely going back

Pretty inexpensive way to enjoy a play go see the play Jamaica it was quite entertaining.

I had a lovely time at this theater it is very big and spacious. It is very comfortable with lots of room. I saw Jamaica and it was a fantastic play with beautiful music to follow. I will definitely return for future events.

Saw A Raisin in the Sun on Saturday, while the play was great it was so hot in the theater it was almost impossible to enjoy the show fully. Coupled with the show being over 2.5 hours the heat made it hard to focus or take in the great acting. I will probably go again, but only if they can promise some kind of AC or breeze. I wouldnt recommend until they turn the AC on for the summer.

My husband and I went to see A raisin in the sun and the cast did a great job and the theater staff were a delight. The theater was very warm so it made for an uncomfortable atmosphere during the show but overall it was still an amazing play. We would definitely do see another one of their productions.

The experience was magical. I enjoyed the gospel show with many cast members. High quality entertainment. Awesome!

Raisin In the Sun was wonderful theater was clean and acting was great. Seating was excellent for inexpensive tickets. Workers were friendly and very helpful.

An amazing theatre! Fantastic plays! Talented cast! Great location! I first saw Colored Museum but I cant wait to go back to see more!! Full of ranging emotions that make a truly great production from cast to lighting! Highly recommend

The theatre was definitely more compact and intimate, but the production I saw of The Wizard of Oz was great! The cast was wonderful and it was clearly a very inclusive environment, as evidenced by all the diversity in the cast and band. Definitely enjoyed the show, and with tickets cheaper than one for the movies, theres definitely no reason not to go

We were invited by the lead actor, who is a friend to attend a showing of, A Raisin in the sun. The theater is small but adequateThe performance was Great. This show and others being offered are a bargain at the lowest price Ive ever paid to be entertained, $10. Please support them. Enjoy!

From the outside you might pass it, because it gives the appearance that it is inside a school. Street parking is hard to find, so I would recommend mass transit. The theater is located on the second floor, they do have an elevator. Small yet comfy. Every seat is a good seat. I would not recommend floor seats as you will have to constantly turn in your seat to watch the performance. Go for the VIP/Preferred seating. They are in the center of the house and you get a cushion in your seat! I would suggest eating before you arrive, the concession stand is very limited and the line was quite long during intermission. The performers were very good and gave you a Broadway level performance without the price tag. I will definitely visit this theater again.

The actors were incredible. The staff were pleasant, hospitable and intuitive. You can see the love for the art of telling a story.

This place has a great feel to it. You can see from any seat. We thoroughly enjoyed the Wizard of Oz, the cast was awesome.

I saw the play A Raisin In The Sun. It was a great performance. Very moving They got a standing ovation by the audience. I would go see it again.

My first time to HRT to see Raisin in the Sun.The play and the performers were great. The stage could be viewed from every seat. The staff is friendly and helpful.Outside traffic sometimes made it difficult to hear but otherwise a good experience.

I drive to Harlem from Nassau county and enjoyed girls day out with my sis who flew in from California and my cousin who took a train in from Milford Connecticut to see A Taisin in the Sun at the repertory theater. I must say that we thoroughly enjoyed the show. The actors and actresses performed their butts off. What a great show! I will definitely be supporting the Repertory and Im going to bring friends and family with me in the future. Thanks for the experience

I am from Harlem,so it was great to go to a place,where my family&I can enjoy the atmosphere&see a reenactment of one of our favorite movies,The Wizard of Oz

Saw In the Heights. Enthusiastic, if uninspiring. Audio equipment needs repair/replace. One standout was the male lead.

Their production of In the Heights was beyond awful. The singing, acting and direction was just awful, painful to watch, listen to. In a city like N.Y., how can there not be talented actors to choose from? Ive seen many amateur musical theater productions that were far, far better.

The Colored. Museum, very entertaining . Well acted with laughter and tense moments. A new experience to be repeated.

Itskinda small and it has these chairs that could be dangerous on stairlike platform to sit on. The play was amazing but the seating was horrible.

Great low cost theatre and great organization to support! multicultural cast in nontraditionally multicultural shows. Ive watched shows at the HRT since 2005. Watch In the Heights! it is awesome! and Aint Misbehavin will floor you with the singers. They are Broadway caliber.
