I love that they finally changed their parking validation problem here. You can get multiple validations so you can eat dinner and enjoy a movie for free. The last time I went, I had to pay $16 for parking which was super ridiculous.I love that this theater has movies with English subtitles for me and my mom.You can purchase tickets there or online and if youre a member you get a discount.
Nice looking theater, but you need to be 7 feet tall to be able to see beyond the heads in front of you.
Great movie house, comfortable seats, and always immaculate. The quiet audiences make watching movies there a pleasure.
So much history in the building and the recent renovation is wonderful.
Love lower lobby picture gallery of Great films and ICONS.
I love this venue... Great location!
I have been here numerous times for Film Screenings. It is an excellent theater with a great sound system and screen. The downstairs area provides ample space for a small (40ppl) pre or post screening gathering or reception.
Its a great place to see movies, but its open only to members of the Directors Guild and their guests. Sorry!
I was there for the Bronx Community college 26th Film Festival. Awesome!
Not accessible to the general public unless you are in the video/film business (and a member of the Guild) or have a friend who is. This is how movies should be enjoyed. No concession stand food mess. Comfortable seats. Very high quality image and sound that envelops. People come here to watch a movie rather than catching up on social media. Twenty-plus years ago there were many movie theaters like this but very few remain.
(Ï) DEEPLY APPRECIATE WHEN MY FRIEND TAKE ME TO WATCH A MOVIE THERE AS IT IS ALWAYS SPECIAL...
A small but, comfortable movie theater for industry screenings. However you must be an invited guest or a member of the SAG Film Society or other industry affiliates to attend.
Wonderful theater and great staff
Was a AMC and the chairs were old fashion seats. Didnt enjoy where i seen the movie from. I love to be in the middle and they didnt have that.
Nice.. Comfortable ... Good seating . Balcony is best place to see movie
Wonderful theater, great sound, and the patrons here are polite and quiet!
It is truly an exquisite beautiful theater to see films.
Saw Traffik today. Theater is clean modern and quiet.
Terrible place. They allow Lee Rosenbloom of Plaza Collectible Corp aka NY 57 aka The Finest Inn aka Plaza 57 Watch to run a pawn shop out of their store front. If they associate themselves with him what does this say about the Directors Guild. They must be sleazy crooks just like him. Meshugana!!
A nice theater. There are parts of it that feel a bit outdated, but the theater itself is spacious and classy. The lobby is small.
A film lovers dream theatre.
Very nice place
Excellent place to see a movie. You need to be a member of an entertainment union.
One of the nicest theaters in NYC
Very nice, clean and small theatre but charming and nice staff!
Dir ville association g place all day
Great screening place.
Small but nice, great for screenings!
Very well appointed movie theater with a balcony. I attend bi-weekly screenings of the SAG/AFTRA/WGA Film Society.
Excellent theater to see screenings. Crowd is well behaved & shows are timely.
Ive seen many screenings here for SAG/AFTRA. Always punctual, no previews and an audience that knows how to behave during a film. Couldnt ask for more!
Perfect place to screen films. Great sound
One of the nicest theaters in Manhattan.
