Wonderful experience with secret city who planned a birthday scavenger hunt for a group of 8 year olds. Cant recommend them strongly enough!

Did the NYPL hunt with them for a company event. The booking process was easy and Jared was extremely attentive and responsive during the process. The instructor Krista was amazing and very patient when part of the group arrived late. The activity was very fun as usual (we also did the Grand Central hunt earlier in the year). The only recommendation is to structure the hunt to be a bit more instructive. Everything else was great.

I booked them for a team building. The whole process was rather seamless and everyone was very responsive with clear instructions. They even gave me options close by if there was inclement weather.Day off, we had a facilitator who made sure to explain all the rules to the team members, took photos of us, and guide us through the process.I found the scavenger hunt genuinely difficult. I thought itd be too easy, but it definitely wasnt. We did it at Grand Central and Im a building buff and I definitely was running around, looking, and learning new things.

It was such a unique experience and everyone in our company outing enjoyed it. Loved all of the efforts to create a fun and interesting scavenger hunt that also doubled as a tour — was especially great for out-of-towners.Oh, and Leigh was an excellent host!

I coordinated the Rockefeller scavenger hunt for my company that took place on 10/3/19. The feedback was extremely positive! It was a great team building activity that allowed people who dont typically work together to come together as a team. All ages seemed to enjoy getting to know each other and work together. This was my first time coordinating an event from start to finish - so to see it was a huge success give me great joy!Jared was extremely helpful and responsive! Julie was our host. We had a family celebration at the Museum of Natural History. We were a group of 22 people ranging in age from 5-75. Everyone had a wonderful time. Secret City was a great organization to deal with. Responsive and accurate in their description. I would not recommend this experience more.

Secret Citys scavenger hunt in Central Park was amazing! We wanted a fun way to learn more about the park with our 9 year old, and it was perfect. Who knew there were so many cool, hidden gems from statues and playgrounds to chess and an authors walk. We also really liked the paper/pencil aspect! It was a nice 2-hour break from using our phones to navigate around NYC. Jared was extremely flexible in helping us find a solution for our dates/times/party size. I would DEFINITELY recommend Secret City!

Secret City Scavenger Hunts is the best! We did this for our team outing and the whole team loves it. It was truly a great experience from top to bottom. I would love to work with them again hopefully in the future.1. Jared was the best! From the moment I simply merely asking for some info and a quote, he took the time to call me directly and spoke on the phone thoroughly on the process of the whole scavenger hunt. We decided to go with Secret City because not only did Jared provide speedy response (plus the quote he gave us was good too) but he was willing to be flexible enough with all of my ridiculous requests. He even checked on the day itself to make sure everything run smoothly.2. Laura our host was awesome! She was on time (although we were prob 5 mins late) and she briefed us on the instruction very well. The hunt wasnt difficult but challenging enough that all of us really work on it and were so focused on getting it all done and win.

Awesome company! From start to finish- we booked this literally the night before. Reached out to several scavenger hunt companies and Secret City was the only one that answered right away, the same evening. We booked for the following day. The hunt was long and fun! Got lots of exercise in and learned lots of interesting facts along the way. We had a mix of adults and kids in our group and everyone enjoyed. Andres was our facilitator and he was great!! This was an awesome team outing! We were a group of 16 people, which worked out perfectly, since we were able to split into 4 even teams. Jared was super timely to reply to all inquiries and made this process seamless! We did the Grand Central hunt, because its winter and after a work day, so our options were more limited, though we had a blast! William, our moderator was great as well. The other reviews are true - Googling answers will NOT help you, but thats what makes the hunt that much more exciting. The whole experience was high energy, and super fun! Would LOVE to try out one of the museum locations! Highly recommend!

My law firm did the Secret City scavenger hunt at The Met for a large corporate group of 70 lawyers. They all really enjoyed themselves and thought it was great for team-building. It was just enough of a challenge for really smart people. A fast but good way to see lots of the museum in 2 hours. Definitely recommend for corporate programs!

We did the Central Park hunt for our company outing, it was fun, active and competitive and everyone had a great time . We had no idea what we were getting into but Our host Andres explained everything clearly in about 5 minutes and was terrific all around. Highly recommend to any group, but be ready to move around a lot for about 2 hours!

I cant say enough great things about Secret City! first of all, Jared was super accommodating and flexible with the group. We were supposed to be in Central Park and he suggested a last minute switch to Grant Central so that we could be inside. My group of 20 teens LOVED the hunt! The hunt was high quality and really well done!

We booked a scavenger hunt at the American Museum of Natural History for our annual Mother & Son outing. Our kids ranged in ages 7-14 and each of them had a fantastic time. It was so much fun. Jared and his team put together a really great hunt. We loved the photo and video challenges too! Definitely recommend Secret City and wouldnt mind doing another one at a different venue!

We celebrated my moms Bday with a Grand Central Station Scavenger Hunt. We had an absolute blast! It was tons of fun, we got lots on knowledge of GCS which Ive never known before (and we are all born and bred New Yorkers!) Jared and Andres were a pleasure to work with. Prompt answers to our questions, and they are there every step of the way to make sure all is good. Would definitely recommend to others and I am looking forward to doing other hunts in the future.

My daughters 11th birthday party used Secret Citys scavenger hunt at the Museum of Natural History. And it was a blast! Such an exciting and unique way to celebrate. It was a great combination of challenging, educational and fun! I highly recommend it for kids this age or older who want to experience an iconic NYC museum in a new light. You really get to see so much of the museum and the kids loved finding the clues and solving the puzzle. Thanks to the Secret City staff who organized the activity flawlessly.

We picked this scavenger hunt to do as a team building activity with our colleagues for our annual staff retreat. We had 4 teams and we all had a fantastic time!! The staff were fantastic and the scavenger was fun. Our only complaint would be that we dont think all the teams should start in the same spot. It would be great if each team started on a different page so that the others teams couldnt follow each other around. But other than that, we enjoyed it!

I was searching for a scavenger hunt for a surprise birthday event that would not be too pricey. I came across Secret City Scavenger hunt and I am so glad I did. They have a flat fee for upto 15 people with room to add more. Its your own personal private hunt so youre not competing with other people. We took on their newest challenge in the Chelsea Market. William was our host and he met with us and explained the process. He then waited until the very end to give us our scores.The whole thing was competitiv, fun and high energy throughout. It took us the full two hours to get it done since it was a Saturday and it was very crowded. Its a very good activity to do to bring friends or colleagues together in a way thats not awkward. I would definitely do it again.

We had a blast at the New York public library! We came with families ranging in all ages and everyone was able to participate in some way and have fun!! Great way to spend an afternoon! I cannot say enough about how great our Secret Ciy Scavenger Hunt experience was. We went as a mentoring group from a public school Title I program, and every single step of the way during the planninng process they were right there to answer questions, or to lend support. The event itself was awesome. We had 5 times participate in the midtown hunt which included some indoor and some outdoor hunting, and eventhough the weather was not great all of the high schoolers had a fantastic time. They marvelled at the architecture, the scenery, and things that are hidden right in front of your face. The tasks are at a reasonable level of difficulty and they make you feel very accomplished when completing them.

Easy to organize a fun, useful corporate team building. Good value for the cost and excellent guides/game facilitators!
