The space it at once modern, elegant, intimate and large enough to host a decent crowd. The acoustics are warm and inviting. The pianos -- well -- they deserve a review all their own but the best in the world wouldnt be hyperbole. The people are thoughtful and care about music, the people who are making it and fostering a supportive community of creativity as much as or more than any institution in New York and the country today.

This is a beautiful place. Its a little bit hard to find, but once you understand the directions given by people who are going to this location you will easily be able to find it. Though its address is 5th Street, the front door is not. The space is on the third floor.
