Exceptional non-profit venue for emerging and contemporary performances. Excellent programming and definitely worth checking out. Theres a small art gallery upstairs that will show solo shows of well-known contemporary artists.

Came here only once it was a hard morning for me, after the wonderful service and the great taste of everything, I felt much much better! If I’m the area please don’t skip!

I have been coming to the kitchen for 4+ years now, and this venue single handedly reshaped my thoughts on experimental arts and theater.The caliber of performance here is top notch. Anything you see here will be enriching and thought through. Also, tickets are EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE. At $15-20, there is no reason not to come here.Plus the ongoing exhibitions in the 2nd floor art gallery are free.(I used to go to places in chicago and sf, and this is just on another level.. not the same. Much much much better at the kitchen.)LOVE The Kitchen 4 ever! 5 stars!!
