I was walking by and noticed one of the artist’s work on the walls. Interesting counter culture theme. Not pretentious, though the man at the desk was not friendly at all — I’m thinking it’s Memorial Day weekend and working on it is rough.

Small gallery in downtown Manhattan featuring meeting and established artists. It has different exhibitions and opening throughout the year. Very nice place with some amazing art pieces.

Krause Gallery is a singularly unpretentious Lower East Side gallery that blends perfectly into the surrounding neighborhood. It has a clean and unadorned interior that allows the discerning patron the ability to observe the artwork without the usual gallery encumbrances. The gallery displays more than the commonplace and may be a place to spot new trends. I highly recommend it.
