I visited this small intimate gallery to view the Matthew Wong exhibit. The theme was blue so the exhibit displayed his key works painted in blue. Im not an art aficionado but I was drawn to his works because of his personal story. The blue themed paintings had intense brush strokes and depth. My favorites were actually the few paintings not painted in blue. If you are a Matthew Wong fan, you should stop by. Although the gallery is small, it is a serene, simple backdrop to the artists intensity.
Nice place to go and see.
Bright, courteous and knowledgeable staffKarma knows Art!
So sad that they are closed
Great art. I did not get a chance to snap a picture or two. Artist did have some great art.
Rude angry staff that makes you feel very uncomfortable.
Thought it would be bigger. Limited displays. Older dude that worked was annoying. Obviously were adults and know not to touch the glass neon displays. But other shorter dude that worked there was nice. I guess art isnt for everyone.
One of my favorite galleries to visit when I’m in New York .They always have great work being showed .
