My favorite galleryLove to buy art at this place. I was a fan of Pace and crg when I lived uptown. Still like those places but I love having a gallery in the neighborhood that has an eclectic collection to chose from. Ask for Silke for advice on adding to your collection of art.
Great little gallery! Off the beaten track but recently featured Janet Cooling, a great artist.
I saw a nice exhibit and show there but the experience was marred somewhat as one of the employees wouldnt let me use the restroom. I spent the next 35 minutes wandering around the Bowery looking for a coffee shop with a restroom. It seems pretty ridiculous to have shows and not let folks use the restroom. It was also quite obvious that I was there for the performance and not someone who just wandered in. Not a nice policy at all.
