I recently had one of my needlepoints framed in Yosofs gallery. Yosof has a great eye for frames, good recommendations from all the years of experience and gives the customer space to try out multiple frames and make an informed decision (unlike other places where the shop owners hover over you and keep hurrying as you try different variations). Yosof offered a great price, completed the work in just a few days (which no one else offered without almost doubling the fee to complete it faster). The entire customer experience was most pleasant and enjoyable. The quality of work is amazing. I found my new framing place. Thank you Yosof!!

I brought in a painting I basically commissioned when I was in Africa, it was on some canvas-like material and needed to be re-stretched, which i procrastinated on for far too long. 5 months later to my horror, as i started unrolling it, the paint began cracking. I decided then and there to take it to get re-stretched that weekend and found Decor Art online. It had good reviews so I went with it. Yosof and his staff not only did a great job re-stretching it, but to my surprise, gave it some extra special love and basically restored it. He said they sprayed water (some other solvent) on the back multiple times and did their magic to repair the cracked paint!! I swear you cant even tell it ever happened, and I was beyond elated! I brought in a total of three pieces for re-stretching (one of the pieces I nabbed in Cuba, and Yosof absolutely loved it. We sat and chatted about it a lot, which was actually really informative) and I had two of the three framed. The framing really made the pieces complete, and everything turned out top quality. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, and will be returning next time I need any framing or re-stretching done for my art! Not only because of the quality of the work, but for the extra consideration they gave things that are special to me :)

Yaqub is one of the nicest people youll ever meet. He takes pride in the work that he does and in the past 3 years that I have been going to him for custom frames he has never let me down. He has a huge variety of frames and a high quality printer that can print on different media including canvas.But dont get confused, there are a few Decor Art Galleries in the NYC but none compare to this one.
