Having seen a lot of movies in my life, I very rarely pay attention to the venues in which Im seeing them. It was only when I moved to San Francisco that I really realized that theaters were individuals, each with their own special flares and personalities. Seeing a movie really becomes an experience rather than just something to do.

Took our granddaughter to the movies today. I felt itchy all through the movie. Then felt like I got bit by my eye. I mentioned it on the way out and my granddaughter said she did too. I stopped in the bathroom on the way out and found these ant like bugs on me. Wont be going back to that theater! Doesnt even deserve 1 star!

On Saturday, sept 26, the day after Gov DeSantis moved our state to phase 3, a friend and I went to the theater excited that it was now opened to 100%. We were rudely treated and told we couldn’t go in without a face mask. The theater seats at least 100 and we were the only people in there. We were treated horribly by employees, and asked to leave. On our way out a couple was going in. Minutes later they came out, also treated badly, the man was told his gaiter wasn’t good enough and a young employee yelled at his wife to “put that mask on properly.” Are you now the mask police? So you lost 4 customers, just about the only people there, and all the popcorn and drinks we were purchasing, over masks which are no longer required. Been going to this theater for 23 years. No more. Your employees need training in respect.

It is the perfect size to be comfortable and the seats are fabulous. Totally a comfy neighborhood theater.

It was somewhat of a drive there from Port Orange, but was pleasantly surprised being able to get popcorn decently priced and get refills for 4.99 for the rest of the year with our plastic bucket. Employees are very cheerful and theater was clean.

I would give no stars if I could. Im 19 years old and because of the theaters curfew rule my 16 year old brother and I were not able to see a 9:30 showing of Frozen two. Apparently they have a rule that anyone under the age of 17 can not see a movie after 8 oclock without an accompanying adult over the age of 21 even on the weekends. I wouldnt be so upset about this if it wasnt for the rudeness of the manager who told us about the rule. Not only that but I personally have never heard of this rule and I just feel like such a rule should be made well known so that people dont drive to the theater only to find out that they cant see a movie.

Went to a Tuesday matinee - Ford vs. Ferrari. Im an AMC club member so got my popcorn bucket refilled and in we went.Seats are great, sound is excellent, staff is fast and gets you through the ticket and food transactions. One gets lost in the movie, just what it should be.Downside... no street signs listing the current movies. This theater was extensively renovated in last 3 years, but no street marque. Strange. Should be fixed!

Great theater, clean & has nice seats, especially the recliner style on lower floor. Good popcorn. Cokes at 5.79 & over $6 are ridiculously high priced though! Appreciate the $5 senior matinee prices.

A fine place to see a movie. The room were in had nice seats, they had till back controls, they were comfortable and can move the armrest up on some of them. The staff were nice and friendly, overall was a great visit.

Had no option to add review except to give 1 star. Does not even rate that. Three attempts to see a particular movie. 1st time on a Sunday theater decided not toopen. Second time, after getting to theater movie was not shown because they decided to add just released movie in two theaters. (Website not updated). Tonight sat through previews only to find out they had switched theaters between times and did not say anything. And our movie was already twenty minutes in. Please support other theaters not this one

The movies start about 30-45 minutes after the indicated time to allow for ads. Mostly for things that humans shouldnt consume. Coke and pop-corn. OTOH the seats are comfortable, and if you are there for a show that requires some cognitive ability it is usually pretty close to empty.

Tickets and refreshments are all one line. This set up is bad. What if I dont want any refreshments. I have to stand in line for too long and sometimes in the rain just for tickets. i wont buy tickets on line because of the extra fees. Also, what if I want a refill. I shouldnt have to stand in line again and risk missing 10 or 15 minutes of the movie. I know of no-one who is happy with this setup. OTOH the staff is friendly and the seats are comfortable.

Great location, good seats.large and padded. The seats lower or sit up straight. Some rows have foot rests.Great customer service. Excellent snack area, you buy tickets at the snack counter.

Looks like they upgraded the seats...awesome! I almost fell asleep they are so comfy. Great sound and picture.

This theater has added comfortable seating, lounges, and quite often, they get a good movie that is not shown anywhere else in our area. My big complaint about this outfit is I have to travel 20 miles to get to the theater, and without any notice, they have been closed several times we drove down. There were always 4-5 other couples wondering what was going on? I hope they get their act together!

You get your tickets and snacks all at once Nice.. They gave different set in different theater rooms.... I have been in two so far

Its a older theater, but still nice. Some the theaters have the big leather recliners that recline. You cannot beat the all ages $4.99 deal before 4pm. But the only thing i have a issue with is the prices of the food and drinks. Highway robbery. For a large drink and a large popcorn combo was $15. And they wonder why people sneak food and drink in the theaters.

Communications for movies need to be done better! The movie Call of the Wild had a time of 1:20pm for the 10th when we checked on the site on the 9th. The morning of the 10th, it changed to Noon on your site and 1:15 if you google the movie and go to the New Symrna theater????? We went there and they were not open yet. Got a phone # from an employee waiting for it to open. I called her at 11:30am and found that the 12:00 noon time was correct. Too late for the five of us to go!! You need to clean up you different sites and get them together!!! Terry Poquette. You lost five movie goers because of this!

Decent movie theater! Front few rows have nice recliners. Price is right. Its a little chilly in there, may take a small throw cover next time.

Comfy and rarely too busy, but man those food and drink prices are exorbitant! Ill take my daughter to a matinee, order very few food and drink items to share - and still its like $40, $50 every time. Feels like a $25 outing... double that.

My first time to an AMC Classic. Definitely not a newer facility, but nice! Staff was friendly, facility was clean, rest rooms clean, auditorium clean and mostly comfortable (prefer it a little cooler than they had it, but by no means was it warm.)Recliner seats (not in all the auditoriums, from what I see on the app) definitely comfy. My usual is the AMC 18 in Altamonte, which I prefer, but this was showing ALL IS TRUE, which isnt at the other, so I went and was glad for it.Be nice if they updated to reserved seating, other than that no complaints.

$7.49 ticket price @4:45 and $15 for a bag of popcorn and one soda.(quality of popcorn was not good)Recliner seats were nice but probably will not return.

It would be nice if the entire theater had recliner seats, however for the price I cant complain. I would suggest actually cleaning spilt soda up instead of placing lots of wet floor signs up. But all in all great value for the money

Not my favorite theater by a long shot but there are some positive attributes. Movie quality is good. Prices are cheaper than just about all other theaters. Reclining seats are comfortable. When I ordered some pretzel bites as a snack I was informed there would be a delay in preparing them. The young lady behind the counter offered to bring them to me in the theater. That was impressive. I will go again, particularly since it is the only AMC theater in the area.

Comfortable seats, a little bit pricey. Drinks are expensive. Good for date night.

Any time I see a movie here there is super califragilistick expyalidochissss customer service satisfaction that I feel I fully receive. Its small but thats nice when you are cold because if the theater is crowded you can ask someone to just share a sear with you and snuggle up to stay warm. And its also a good time to bond with a perfectly random stranger. :))

Been to this theater on and off for about 20 years. It has greatly improved over time!

First visit. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Really helpful in picking a movie to see. Clean, comfortable reclining seats. Great overall atmosphere.

I always loved this theater but they have a new policy that makes it so my little brother and sister can’t go see movies with their friends without a 21 year old after 8pm. This is an absolutely ridiculous policy. Some of my favorite memories as a kid was going to night time movies with my friends. It’s a shame what this theater is doing to kids when this theater is their only option.

Popcorn was delicious! I used my previously purchased bucket so got it for about $4.49 I think. Went to early movie $4.99. Saw an excellent movie Rocketman. It was a great afternoon. Im going back to see same movie again next week.

Im 16 and wanted to see a movie with my 18 year old friend but because of the 8:30 “curfew” and the fact that she isnt 21 the theater would not allow me to see a pg-13 movie with her. First time i’ve ever had that happen.

Theater was fine. Snacks as super expensive as youd expect. Seats comfortable but the arm rests were terrible. I know that sounds crazy but they are so loose that it is easy to spill drinks, especially after you skooch past people on an aisle and fall into your seat and naturally use the arm rest to sit down. Crazy how loose they are!

Great theater. Love the smaller auditoriums and comfy seats. Great staff. What more can I say? It is a great place to go enjoy a movie.

Nice theater. My son and I had the whole theater to ourselves. We were going to sit high up, but I realized that the recliner seats are all the way at the bottom. So we decided to move to the comfy recliners. The staff was nice and the service was great. However, if it is your first time, looking at the front doors you would think its an exit only but there are 2 doors that say entry and have a handle on them.

Has a nice concession stand. Staff was polite and professional. The bathrooms were clean. However, no public wifi, only the seats in front of the theater recline and the rug in the theater needs to be replaced, has a musty smell.

Our movie had a start time of 7:00 p.m. Commercials started at approximately 6:45 at shortly after 7:00 movie previews started, our movie finally started at 7:25. Way too many commercials! Then at about 8:10 p.m. I decided I would like something to drink and some popcorn, the young man at the concession stand was bagging up popcorn and told me the concession stand was closed, I asked him if I could just het drinks then since the soda machines were on, he just said the concession stand was closed, he did at least say he was sorry, I just was very disappointed in the whole experience as it was the first time I had ever been to your theater.

Nice theater but ridiculous policy of making the candy counter the ticket sales place as well. Line out the door while we wait for others to buy 3 tickets and...I will have 2 large popcorns, 3 drinks and nachos. Missed my movie start time and left. Not going back. Too bad, nice theater otherwise!

Great stadium seating with tickets priced at $4.99 for matinees.

Sometimes other patrons are disruptive and the all teen staff are incapable of dealing with these patrons. You are invited to leave with a refund. Shouldnt It be the other way arround.

If you have a problem with the prices of the food then go suck it and never come back to this theater how do you think they make their money but do you think they can give you the ticket price at $4.99. Beat it youre cheap go home the world doesnt need people like you

Although I very much appreciate the daily low ticket prices, my return here is also strongly based on the good air quality (the Positive is no Breathing Sensation of mold/fungus/humidity in the air). Chairs are comfortable. Bathroom clean.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed.They are not at all considerate of disabled customers.Upon arrival you have to go through the roped maze.And they have each customer purchase their movie ticket & snacks all at the same time.So it is that much longer that a disabled person is having to wait to get through the roped area with nothing to lean on even to help ease the physical pain.I will give the cashier great credit because once I purchased my ticket, drink & got the popcorn she very nicely assisted me with carrying them to my seat.Sadly though the physical pain was to continue because,Even though the movie I chose to see was very close to the payment area it was still far away to get to a seat that would be comfortable.Upon going in the door for the movie I found I had to go almost all the way down to the front & then up several steps to get to a seat that would work for me.I questioned the employee & she stated all of the movie areas are set up the same way now.When a person has a walking disability & on oxygen it is hard.But most of us that are a little older can not sit in those seats in the front!! We have to sit in the seats that are higher up.That is a proven fact just in the movie I went to yesterday.Most of us in the theater for the movie Overcomer (Wonderful movie!!) Was of an little older age & all but 1 person was sitting in the upper seats.So with the fact that this place has not considered the older or disabled I do not foresee me going here again!!From what Im told the movie theater in Port Orange is very considerate of their older & disabled customers.So when I go to see the movie I want to see next week I will check out that movie theater.I was warned the movie ticket is more money at the Port Orange theater. If it is a choice of having to pay $8.00 and having easier access to a movie then I will pay the $8.00 or go on a Sunday or Tue when they only charge $5.00 eithier way easier excess to see a movie means less physical pain & that it definitely worth the extra money.Im praying that New Symrna theater will rethink their theater design & make access for disabled & elderly customers easier. Just because we are older or disabled does not mean we stopped enjoying going to the movies!!P.S. You could save some money with not running the a/c so high.

Great lounge chairs, newly reduced prices and seriously expanded menu. A unique movie experience. Small auditoriums but great amenities.

We love the AMC classic. We use Stubs A list and go once or twice a week. The theater could use a little updating but the seats are very comfortable, food is good and the staff is friendly and helpful.

I enjoy this theater because it is close but if another one was a smidge closer we would go there instead. I never know if the theater has the comfy seats or not. The staff os super nice and its for the most part clean.

Caught a 1:40 showing for $4.99. Movies before 4pm are $4.99 +tax for child, adult or senior. Used the app on my phone to avoid the line but.... I wanted a drink and popcorn so I ended up waiting anyway. Plenty of good seating and free parking. Makes no sense to purchase the ticket online to save time when you have to wait in line for a drink and food. Over all a good price for a movie.

Saw THE LION KING with my granddaughter!! Theater was neat,clean,staff very polite and organized. Love the reclining seats

The theater we were in was extremely warm and uncomfortable. Before the movie even started people were complaining. I asked the employee taking Tix to fix it and he got on a walkie talkie and passed on the info. The movie was around 3 hours long and the temp never cooled off. People actually walked out before the end of the movie. Tix are expensive and they should at least be able to get it comfortable!

Nice clean and comfy seating. Small theaters with recliner chairs make for a more enjoyable vowing experience. Great pricing ($4.99 for EVERYONE) before 4pm. WAAAAY overpriced beverages in the concessions stand and confusing ticket booth. Overall, we spent as much for tickets as drinks for a family of 4 as we would for tickets alone at other theaters so we will go back but wont purchase anything from the concession stand.

Not bad, but the cashier ripped me off by not giving me back the correct change. Probably should of caught it myself. Still sucks though.

The reclining seats are a major plus, though I wish the tickets werent sold at the same counter as the refreshments. The staff are amazing and friendly as always.

We do enjoy the NSB 12 . Clean and the staff is friendly. The downside is, while watching “the mule “ we could clearly hear the sound effects from the movie in the next theatre. Kinda took away from the show. They could have done better. Spent $$$$.

On a rainy day good place to take one or all of the grad kids to sit an relax an take in a good movie something they will always remember and ENJOY!!!!

Cool place for a quick cheap movie, only has recliners on bottom first row but other seats are still nice and tilt back. Sound was great, was on the chilly side so bring a sweater, large drink and popcorn was 14 and change..spent 27$ for me and my son.

I never reviewed a movie theater before. What can I say? It is a movie theater with popcorn and snacks. The place was clean, seats were comfortable and the ticket price was around $8 for a first night/run movie on a Friday night.

Clean, comfortable seats and priced right!! Only 4.99 for movies until 3pm. Then only 6.99 after!
