Love this beach store. Tons of clothes to choose from!!! I bring a lot of my guests here and I always end up buying something, lol. Last time I got 3 really nice, soft beach theme pillows, 3 for $10!!!! Great deal!!! Highly recommended.

Beautiful beach intended for people to pull up their vehicle on pull out their umbrellas and chairs. Beach toys and enjoy a flat Beach that runs out quite a ways before it drops off you only have to watch out this time of year for the sharks. That is the number one feeding place. For the sharks in the winter time.( I was told we were out deep enough that we probably )had them swimming around our legs. We were lucky. No problems. We were blessed. (Probably close to a mile wide)

As youd expect for a tshirt/souvenir store. Tons of selection, reasonable prices on everything, but I thought the womens bathing suits were a touch over priced. Some were cheaper, but the one my daughter chose was about $60. Maybe thats normal, but seemed high to me.

Love this store. Have to stop here every time Im in town. One can never have too many t-shirts.

This store has the rudest employees. They dont deserve anyones business. The employee was rude, unprofessional, and was downright disgusting to the customers. There are several other places THAT ACTUALLY DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS.

The store is fun with some good deals to be had. The woman manager that was there the day we were was incompetent however. She and the other workers were kind of rude.

TON of selection an prices are fairly priced. Love the bogos they have there. Great beach wear an styles everyone in the family would enjoy. I recommend if you need towels or just wanna freshen up your wardrobe with more beached theme garments.

I have come to Florida on vacation about five times in 8 years and every time I have to stop at Alvins Island before hitting the beach. They are the best souvenir shop EVER! The have shirts, towels, magnets, pool toys, beach toys, sweatshirts, kid toys, shot glasses, coffee cups, picture frames and on and on! Love this store!!!

Nothing spectacular. They have one on every other corner. I like unique souvenir shops, nothing unique here.

Not a terrible place but it is kind of a tourist trap. They advertise 3 for $10 shirts but it is a very small and undesirable selection in that price range. The other shirts are very nice but the big signs are a bit deceptive.

My daughter found a bathing suit...but the sell of them are no returns or refunds? Even with a receipt! They are not cheap, of course she tried it on but you never really know the quality until it is used...Im just sayin...

For last minute souvenirs or just affordable beach apparel, this is the place to look around. Only downside, no public wifi.

All I can say is wow... The staff is unattentive and out right rude. Merch in the aisle in front of the register with 3 people standing around it like a campfire. Management... I hope the lady that was MOD isnt the owner or a part of the upper management of the store because if she was, throwing a little fit infront of customers is a bit of an embarrassment.

Cluttered and not well laid out. 4 people behind counter, but only one taking purchased, even as the line of customers kept growing. I finally had to go ask one of the employees who was just sitting around if they might be able to take a register for a while.

For a chain place this one had good souvenirs . I bought a hat and family bought several New Symrna items.

Im a local and I love this store. It has been here forever when other beach shops come and go and not thanks to its location. Its because the prices are great, the people who work there are always super helpful and awesome, the selection of stuff is fantastic. They have the best selection of well priced flip flops in town. And the free box of salt water taffy they give you if you buy something is Really really good taffy (and look for the coupons on the box)! Best beach shop in town. :)

We absolutely love this store, we travel to NSB every year. Alvin’s Island is a much stop for us. Love the different variety of items you can purchase there, the prices are great and the staff are always friendly. Desiree is by far one of my favorite employees she is always so friendly and is such a pleasure to see when we visit.

I have visited this story several times. Most recently, I stopped to purchase t-shirts for my daughters. The staff were very helpful when I was picking out the shirts. She explained what was available to be printed and what came printed before they arrive at the store. The your lady who helped me pulled shirts from the upper wall and estimate my daughters t-short sizes.My daughters love their shirts and we will stop by next time I am in town.

When we pulled in there was an employee sitting outside..I noticed the open sign wasnt on when we pulled in so I asked if they were still open. She totally ignored me so I gave her the benefit of the doubt that she didnt hear me say it so i asked again... No response at all.. Rude!!! I came in to spend money in that store and Ive never dealt with such rudeness. I know sometimes people have bad days but you have to suck it up and smile and be glad you have a job. The young lady checked us out when we left and she was still rude because she was angry about something at work. Ill think twice before I spend my money there next time. I wouldnt have bought a thing but I couldnt do that to my grandkids after they had already picked things out. We were there on 5/17/18 at 7:37. The receipt shows the clerks name was Lindsey but she was not wearing a name tag so I cannot verify that was who checked us out. As I was looking at my receipt to post this review I noticed that when I paid the total was $40.37 and I paid exact cash and the clerk posted that I gave her $4037.00 and that my change should have been $3996.63. clerks need to pay attention to detail or your location will loose more business than ours.

Super friendly staff and great selection! My family and I visit each summer and this will definitely be our new souvenir stop. So impressed! Thank you Alvins Island!

There are umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, sand buckets, swim suitw, towels. They have everything to make your day at the beach a success. Forgot sunscreen? They have it. Needs games? They have it. Need flip flops. Got those too.

Best souvenir shop Ive ever been to while on vacation!

Love this place

Spent several hours at the store shopping while some rainy weather changed our beach plans. We shopped for typical vacation stuff for my grandchildren. My granddaughter need a new swimsuit which she is typically very nervous about. One the workers with a southern accent, helped my granddaughter find s suit that we were all comfortable with. My granddaughter left happy because she felt comfortable and I was happy because the suit was reasonably modest. The worker even gave my granddaughter a hug when she left.When came back a couple of days later, the same blonde lady was working. She remember our names and gave us some great recommendations to visit the national Forrest, canoe tours and other fun spots in New Smyrna Beach. Not only did she help us with our shopping, her recommendstions made our vacation so much better.

Staff was really nice! But I was there on Vacation and spent 61.72 on 2 hoodies,2 bracelets and 4 shirts.2 shirts where supposed to be 8.50 each and I got charged 12.99. The other 2 where 3xl and was 12.99 each but when I went to remove the size sticker that was on it part of the design came off with it and the edges on part of it is come up to.... one hasnt even been put on !! but the Cashier was really nice

I purchased a two-piece bathing suit from the store, and wore it to the beach that day. While at the beach the metal clasp on the top broke. I am aware of the stores no returns policy, and all sales are final. However, I did bring the top back for an exchange. The manager was not friendly or helpful Im any way. She told me that if she returned everything that broke, the store would go out of business. She was argumentative and aggressive. She informed me that I needed to contact the manufacturer. When I asked her if she would call them while I was there, she told me that I needed to call them myself. She did not smile, nor did she have any sort of customer service skills. I have shopped here for years with no problems, but if the store has unprofessional managers like Shelly, it speaks volumes to the fact they do not put customer service first. I will not shop here again.

Some of the rudest customer service I have ever experienced. The employees would stand in the middle of the aisles and not let you pass. If you said excuse me, they would huff and puff and get mad because you wanted to get by. We walked in the door at 9:45 pm about 10 minutes into the store, we were very rudely told that they were closing the store at 10:30 and that the register was to be counted at 10:30 and there would be no purchases after that. When we asked why the door said that they closed at 11 and not 10:30, they stormed off and didnt give an answer. We tried asking for help in locating items, so that we could get out of there faster but the employees would just ignore us and walk away. No customer service at all. We did not buy anything. I do not plan on ever going back.

The website says they close at 10 PM. We called earlier in the day to verify they had an item were looking for. They said they did it again we verify they close at 10 PM. I went to the store tonight at 9:25 and the doors were already locked. I called and they said they were already closed. I asked them why Are you closed already when their website says they close at 10. Her response was we open at 9 AM. Again I said your website said you’re open to 10 PM and she said I don’t know why it says that we close with The manager tells us to. The manager told us to close at 9:30 tonight. I said it’s 925 PM and I’m at the front door now it’s already locked. Dead silence. What a joke of a place and employees.
