I’ve been to going Bennett Academy for maybe 5 years now and I have never regretted it, not even for one second. The people I’ve met here are like my family and the highlight of my week is coming here. Ms. Bennett is amazing.
Outstanding . Very happy I enrolled my son here
The show was great I had such a nice time. The story was interesting and was played very well by all the children. I particularly enjoyed the singing portion of the show.
The Play was great! I was very impressed with the kids and their performances. It is a must see! The story line was really good! Sanise Labron was amazingly good. She played her character to the tee!!
The Bennett Academy of The Performing Arts is an excellent school for anyone. I find that the teachers are well educated and support and mold their students into wonderful artists. I wanted my son to learn to play the piano, My sons music teacher, Andrea Bennett told me that he wasnt interested in learning the piano, but was interested in learning to play the drums. My son is an excellent drummer and loves this music school. He really looks forward to his music lessons every week. Also, my son was very shy, so performing in front of others was difficult for him. My son isnt shy to perform in front of an audience thanks to the support of the teachers at this music school.
The Bennett Academy of the Performing Arts has made there Westchester debut of there play King Of The Rodeo the Muscial. Set in the 1800s in the wild west with a story of Jealously, betrayal, and forgiveness. Following townsfolk Jake Jessup from Agape Town and the love of his life Little Flower from Lakota territory. The story folds out pretty well with a slap of a start and has a satisfying conclusion. Young Jake Jessup and Little Flower kill it in there rolls, and have great chemistry, just wanting more scenes with them. The three sisters as well do a great job all bouncing off of each other perfectly. Everyone else in the cast gave great performances as well really setting the tone of the play. There is total of SIX original songs and all are fantastic and move the story along perfectly. My favorite, Dear daughters is sung by the three sisters and is done both engagingly and hilariously. -Remember the good times thats all we could do,was delivered by Ames and was done in a endearing way and stuck with me on my way out of theater, wishing he had one more scene to complete his a character arc. Overall King Of the Rodeo the Musical was written well done with interesting characters, and again SIX original songs and enjoyably performances all through with comedy sprinkled throughout. Just wishing for some more sets and props, and charterers to get more stage time to really flesh out these well done characters. I cant wait to see the next show on June 24th and revisit these engaging characters that have been created.
