We came to Hour To Exit to celebrate my cousins birthday. We had such a great time and memories that I know we will share for years to come. The game we played, Elude the Illusionist was challenging but still a lot of fun. The clues really forced you to think and just when you thought it was over, there was MORE!! Again, we had a great time and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Hour to Exit to anyone who wants to have great fun with family and friends!!

My friends did the Illusionist room. We had a blast working on the puzzles together. The puzzles were very challenging, but there was more than enough in the game to solve them. Also, the owners and designers of the games are super nice. Theyre very skilled at providing just enough of a hint to lead you down the right path while not giving away the solution completely. Ill definitely be back!

Had an amazing time at hour to escape! It was a much needed date night and escape from the world for an hour. We actually needed longer time to solve the puzzle and they graciously let us go over time so we could figure it out. Our host was excellent, it was a great night. Would certainly return!

My husband, teenage daughter and I just did the Dorm Room Escape. It was a lot of fun! The challenge included some really unique clues and great puzzles, and the level of puzzlement was enough to keep us intrigued the whole time. Our game master was completely supportive as he gave us hints when we needed them (that was super helpful because at some moments I really felt clueless). We can’t wait to go back to try the other adventure!

Came here with my wife, sisters and brothers. Chill friendly staff with cool escape themes. We went twice and escaped twice! The rooms are challenging and fun. If you want to get away from busy Manhattan, take the train ride here. Its close to great food spots and the metro North.

Been to a few different escape rooms and this was the best. Challenging yet super fun in a group.

The Hour to Escape (New Rochelle) was a great experience for our Church Youth Group. The staff was so accommodating in our booking our visit and the day of in welcoming and setting us up! The location was easy to find and ideal. Our group split up into two groups, each doing a different game and both enjoyed it and found it challenging. The kids cannot wait to come back!!!

We just came from the “Escape the Illusionist” room with 6 people and we LOVED it! The puzzles were interesting and fun, and it was truly a team effort to escape. The quality of the setup was one of the best I’ve seen. We will DEFINITELY be returning!

This was so much fun. When else do I get to spend an hour with my teenager and his friend, not use any electronics, and laugh and have a great time. We cant wait to try the other rooms!

We had the best experience! The staff was so accommodating, enthusiastic and welcoming. This was the best escape room we’ve visited and we loved it so much we ended up doing three rooms back to back to back. The rooms were challenging and exciting and you really felt like you were in a different place. Highly recommend. We can’t wait to come back!

Hour To Escape is outstanding in so many ways. We booked two birthday parties this summer last minute when the weather wasnt cooperating. Brittany was always accessible and easy to talk too. Britany was extremely flexible and understanding. My 11 year old son, my 13 year old daughter and all their friends LOVED the rooms. My son and his friends did Pandoras Box and my daughter and her friends did the Illusionist. They continue to rave about their experiences and cant wait to return. This place is professional, clean, well run, appropriately priced and truly gives a personal touch that you dont experience today. Hour to Escape is easy to find, with ample street parking, demonstrations, instruction and practice before entering the rooms, exciting rooms with challenges and fun surprises, photos at the end. I brought 25 students to experience the excitement of an escape room. They had an amazing time, they enjoyed working together to escape their individual rooms. They played and solved the various mini mysteries that were located in the foyer. We also utilized the free space for lunch and to play games. They didn’t want to leave and begged to come back. The staff was pleasant and thorough when providing instructions. I can’t wait to bring my next group of students!!!

We were a small family group of four ages ranging from 9-15 and everyone had a good time! I really appreciate how closely they monitored our group and have just the right amount of assistance! We were so proud to escape!

My family and I had the best time. We did two rooms and it is by far the best escape room we have ever visited. We were on vacation and decided to give this place a try. Stopped by today for my sons bday party and he totally loved it. Having tried others in myrtle beach this was definitely a go to for me. Games were challenging and very exciting. Had a group of 10 so the action was equally spread around between kids 9yrs-50yrs old. I found it aged appropriate for all and fun.. would totally recommend.. Many thanks!!

We just did the Pandoras box with a group of 6. It was very well done and we enjoyed it immensely. The people in our group have done several escape the rooms prior to this and we were impressed with the set up. It was the easy level room but we found it to be more intermediate but we liked the challenge. We took 50 minutes to complete it and we are already planning to return next month for the more difficult room!The staff was very friendly and helpful and their setup and introduction to Pandoras box was impressive. I Highly recommend this for a fun group activity for puzzle lovers.

It was an amazing and quick fun date night for my boyfriend and I. The dorm room was really fun and really made you think. Def need to try it again against him tho, who doesn’t love some competition!

My group has done more than 50 rooms in the US/Europe and we found this place to be amazing. The illusionist room was very entertaining, with well functioning technology, and an interesting story that kept you engaged. There were no odd leaps in logic in any of the puzzles, everything flowed smoothly. We definitely recommend this location!

The IT department at our company attended Hour To Exit last night and had an AMAZING time. We had a dedicated, separate room where chairs and tables were provided for us to setup dinner. This enabled us to have an outside caterer come in before our arrival and setup dinner. When we arrived all of food was setup, hot and prepared. There was a refrigerator and games available while we ate. The escape rooms are incredible! They range from slightly challenging to very difficult! Our team made it out with two minutes to spare! On a Tuesday night we found parking right in front of the building! The city parking meters take coins or credit cards which is helpful! Thank you again Duane and Brittany for facilitating an amazing, team building outing for team! Will definitely do this again!

Brittney and Duane were very accommodating to our son’s request for an escape room birthday party. They were up front about the suggested minimum age of nine, due to difficulty of some of the puzzles, but allowed a group of seven year olds, some younger siblings and a few parents to attempt Pandora’s Box. They listened for when the birthday boy would ask for hints or guidance and kept the party moving. Everyone had a great time.

Great experience for the family and friends. It’s a hidden gem somewhere in New Rochelle. Staff were great and friendly. Will recommend to friends and definitely will go back to try other rooms

The owners are amazing very attentive. Clean and spacious environment. Great for team building, friends, couples and etc. had a great time back with some old high school friends they are challenging to the point that you get anxious to escape ahaha! Totally looking forward to do another room. We went for the magician room and it had some mind blowing features moving walls, mirrors crazy!

This place was great to spend an hour with challenging tasks. I would recommend you go and try to beat the clock in under an hour! Very creative and thought provoking. I will be back.

I was there for my friend Emmilia party on Sunday and it was amazing all staff was nice and I found most of the keys. But I want to know if there are more rooms.

This was the first time I went to an escape room. I loved it. It was so fun. We made it with three minutes to spare. We had a party and the guy was super nice. I strongly and highly recommend.

This place was the best escape room I’ve been to. They just opened their business few weeks ago so it is super clean and very high tech. I could tell that they put a lot of thoughts together to come up with the ideas on the settings and the clues. I’d highly recommend this place. And we made it in time!

Hour to Exit was my first time experiencing an escape room. I went with two of my cousins who were apprehensive. To say the least we were all having a ball, especially since we escaped in time. I had so much fun and went a few times after. Each time was completely different. The owners are personable and Great!! I highly recommend you going. You will not be disappointed. We were a small group (kids 7, 9 and 12 and one adult). We did the pandora box room. We had a lot of fun. Each challenge brought different set of skills and kept everyone engaged.Duane was wonderful guiding us thru it all.My son loved it so much, he didn’t want to leave and is now organizing to come back and do another room. Highly recommend especially for puzzle and enigma solver type of person!

The boys did the Pandoras box experience and the clues were adapted to fit their age. They were challenged but thoroughly enjoyed it. Can highly recommend this business !

I was so intrigued about the business from the escape game down to the lobby. I was unable to find the entrance and the staff came outside to meet me which was extremely helpful. When we were playing the game the interaction between my group and the staff was amazing and after we escaped we were asked for our opinion which made us enjoy the experience even more. I look forward to the other rooms opening and seeing what this lovely business has to offer

We just completed Elude the Illusionist. Fantastic design, unique clues, fun theme and owners were great. We are escape room fans and have done well over 50 rooms in a variety of cities. (Trying to compile a list to have an exact count). This room is in the top 10%!! We had a lot of fun and can’t wait to return soon!

I went to Hour to Exit with my friends and daughter and we had an amazing time. Duane and his partner were friendly and very personable. We separated into two teams and competed against each other. It was the highlight of the kids’ vacation. I highly recommend.

I have never been to an Escape room before and let me tell you... it was a great experience and Im totally hooked. Brittany was great at explaining the rules and and it was a friends birthday and she made it a very personal experience! It was girls against boys and the girls ended up losing and I cant wait to go back to redeem myself!

This is a great addition to New Rochelle! The two rooms I’ve seen have not only looked great, but have had different levels of difficulty - which will appeal to different ages. I look forward to seeing what they open next!

The room was great, not too easy yet at the same time not to hard. It was exactly what I was looking for.

My girlfriend and I are escape game enthusiasts and we decided to make a stop at New Rochelle to try out HTE (Hour to Exit). We did a 830pm Pandoras Box room and 930pm Elude the Illusionist room back to back. Although it was very last second, they gladly accommodated us and we appreciated it!Pandoras Box: Non-linear room and everyone is kept busy. Multiple things to work on in the room but teamwork is still key. Room was chilly but well take that over a steamy room any day! While Brittney, our amazing game master and owner of HTE was going over game rules, the room interacted with what she was saying which was pretty cool. Room atmosphere, decor, props, and puzzles were on point and was extremely fun. Escaped with 10 min to spare!Elude the Illusionist: WAY different from Pandoras Box, non-linear, and follows a story line somewhat. Again, everyone will be working on something, a lot of detail is involved, and a bunch of fun interactions. Nice mixture of tech and traditional locks were in the room and the room looked well-thought out. We were immersed in the setting of the room and it made the experience that much more fun. Escaped with 10 min to spare as well!Street parking available until 12am ($1 an hour) or in the parking lot across the street. Also, the actual entrance is on North Street! All in all, being a new escape room, its a very nice addition to New Rochelle. Only a 20 min drive from NYC or 40 min train ride from GCT, I recommend making your way to HTE for your next escape room adventure.
