The people that come here are so family oriented! Friendly and outgoing! Me and my baby just visited the other day and they were quick to make us feel at home! There is a little baby slide for babies and a bigger slide with a swirly in it for the teenagers and parents that like to have fun they also serve food and drinks and there are three different pools not just one!!

We toured the health club with a very nice young man. I failed to get his name unfortunately. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the building. Every thing was immaculate.We joined and cant wait for our first workout.

The outside basketball courts have weeds growing on them, the bball courts do not have any lines due to faded paint, most important thing the bathrooms are disgusting. The bathrooms have bowel movements on the walls, all over toilet seats, and there is toilet paper in one of the bathrooms covered in urine and there isnt any toilet paper in the other bathroom. I feel like I may have contracted a VD by just walking into the bathroom.

This place is so nice and clean. A very big place for the whole family to enjoy. A kiddie pool area for babies and toddlers, a general pool area with a big slide, a lap pool and a diving pool area. There are plenty of seats and some have shade and tables. They have a consession stand too. The lifeguards are young but actually do their job well and keeping everybody safe to follow the rules.

Ive only seen the pools(Since my original visit, have become a member. Great pools. Great fitness center. Great employees. As nice as any clubs I have belonged to previously)

It has potential. I only have experience with the pool. The lap pool is pretty filthy. I dont think any of the pools are chlorinated properly. The lifeguards are inattentive. Swim lessons are mediocre. The slide is cool. Diving boards are nice. Toddler wading pool is a nice feature. Not much room for adults to swim in any of the other pools. Only the diving pool has any depth and its typically only for the diving boards not for casual swimming.

We wear this place out! We signed up for the family summer package and got our money’s worth and then some. The water slide is pretty fun and there’s usually lots of room for your stuff. Concessions don’t break the bank but I wish they kept one more lifeguard on duty for the slide. We’re lucky to have this excellent facility in town.

They took our temperatures and required mask for our safety. Made us feel secure.

This place is nicer than I thought it was. Very clean and maintained. The staff is always nice and helpful. Definitely a hidden gem in downtown NPR.

We love taking the grandchildren to the Rec the entire staff are always very friendly made up mostly of our next generation. Very polite and friendly has 4 different pools kiddy pool slide pool diving pool and the lap pool. Awesome experience every time

It is cleen and staf is so helpful and kind I would come every day to have a blast.

Pricey, but fun! Some of the kids there are a little mouthy. Other than that the place was great.

Their covid-19 distancing is terrible, make you wait in line outside until someone else leaves. They should use wrist bands and limit the time in the pool for all residents that want to use it.

Had my grand daughters 1st Birthday there. Everyone that works there was friendly and courteous. Allowed us to decorate as long as we cleaned it up and we did. Opened up the side gate so we could use the exit to give it to our cars quicker. I definitely will be back.

I used the rec center for my baby shower. Everyone working was very helpful with questions, and helped make sure I had everything we needed. I highly recommend.

The skate park is like our second home. Cant wait til they upgraded it. My 8 and 4 year old loves being there.

It would be great had we not driven so far to swim only to find out the pool was closed for swim competition. It should have been posted on the web. It looked like it would be a good time.

Worst experience, I ripped my toe nail off and substained a crush injury from getting my toe caught under their chain link fence when I was trying to chase my son to get him from going on their gulf cart they had parked out, I have to wear a special shoe and keep my toe wrapped for a week along with a orthopedic follow up, my entire party hardly got to swim because they wouldnt get my foot to stop bleeding and then they closed an hour early, they gave me one free pass and said my party got to swim technically just I couldnt they left my blood on the ground the entire time I was there even though I told them it was there right in the food court area. Id give them a 0 if I could they couldnt even give us the chance to come back to have a better experience no way Im going to pay another $30 to try it out again after that experience worst customer service and apparently unsafe environment if it where a small childs toe they probably wouldnt have one anymore.

This is a wonderful place, so much to do. Love going with my grandson to swim in the 4 pools they keep crystal clear and clean. Water slide is great fun!

Fantastic facility, great staff.

Says that members can access the fitness center two hours prior to opening (6am). Went at 4:30am, couldnt get in...after paying for a two month membership. Not sure why. The card reader seemed like it worked but it didnt unlock the door. Not happy about it at all. The cleaning guy there just stared at me, also not helpful. Then it happened AGAIN a month later this morning...again at 4:30am. To the staff: Either ensure the card readers work before/after hours or put staff on duty to assist. When I took the time to go there to get the situation fixed this evening, their solution was to exchange the cards, which dont become active for 24 hours. Guess I wont be going to the gym tomorrow! Thanks for nothing. Dont advertise extended hours if you cant support it!

My family love it there. Small and together but huge to a kid. Diving board and slide are my kids favorite obviously. Very strict safety rules with life gaurds at each section.which is nice, especially when you have kids all over the place and cant keep an eye on all of them. And for the 5 of us, it was $26 bucks. The only thing that sucks is how burning hot the floor gets. So definitely wear sandals at all times except in the water obviously. Also sucks, we had to pay $3 for a water diaper to go over our babys swimming diaper and bathing suit which was like a plastic shower cap as well as we were the only ones that had it so no sense.... Other than that. Awesome place for the family.

Its so nice to have our very own little water park at our rec center but the prices could be better. If prices were to go down I would probably change my rating

Very disappointed.......It was fun at first. The kids got to go down the slide a few times and the diving board once.But when the camps came a half hour later, they shut down the diving board so only the camps could use them. .Also, my six year old grandson didnt know the rules because it was his first time going there and he went head first down the slide and they banned him for the day. .My ten year old granddaughter had waited in the line for over 20 minutes and she was about to go down the slide but then she had to step aside for the camp kids-(about 30 kids!) and she was placed on the back of the line! What a disgrace and bad message for children. It was a waste of $15 for half hour of fun. Apparently we dont share the same rights as the camp groups. Not right. We wont go back Well go back to Sims Park where everyone is equal for now on.

This is one of the best facilities The City of New Port Richey has to offer to its community. The facility is amazing and has something for everyone to enjoy. Basketball courts, pool, skatepark and so much more! The skatepark is where its at for me and my son and it means a lot to us and the community.We are currently on our mission to have our skatepark rebuilt for the community and need all the support we can get. Very nice place that offers a lot for exercising. I play pickleball as my choices. Very nice people, even for the beginner! Beginners classes available.

This place is wonderful. The city does a fantastic job here. Staff is friendly, all pools are outside.

Very clean. They play good music. Water is just right. The slide is good. The kiddy pool is really nice.

Staff here are always so helpful and knowledgeable about all the events and things happening around the center. The center is a very top notch place. And my kids just cant get enough of the beautiful play center. Everything from outside courts to the inside courts are kept clean and in great condition. This center is definitely a amazing place.

Fun place to go swimming

Attended the senior exercise classes. Instructor was very informative and friendly. Then went to gym for a 30 min treadmill session. Very nice up to date equipment. So worth the price of an annual membership

Water was amazing. Slide was my favorite of course. Most people attending was polite. Will be back probably next week

Great family environment that has a little bit of everything for active people. Small but adequate gym that has free weight dumbbells and machines, indoor basketball courts, outdoor tennis courts, and the main attraction is the aquatic area that includes a large shallow pool for small children that is shallow enough for babies who can sit up on there own (supervised of course).

Its a fun place to visit.

I take the grandkids here an they absolutely love it! I do not have a membership since I only go here when the kids are out of school for the Summer. There is a nice kiddie pool for the smaller kids, another pool with a big slide and basketball hoop, another pool with a diving board, and a lap pool with 4 or 5 lanes. Lots of tables, chairs, umbrellas and coverings. The bathrooms are large and super clean and there is a really nice fitness center and basketball courts. I think we only pay $7.00 per person to use the pool which is a real value. Memberships are available but I dont use the facilities enough to warrant the purchase of a membership. The staff are all super nice and and always willing to help. I highly recommend the New Port Richey Recreation and Aquatic Center.

We went just to swim for the day, it was reasonably priced ($10.50 for one adult and one child). Lap pool, dive pool, pool with a pretty tall, twisty slide and a shallow kiddie pool with a small slide for little ones. Locker rooms and multiple bathrooms. It was clean and well maintained. Even the snack bar was decent and inexpensive. The only negative, its a public pool and sure enough, someone pooped in one of the pools (which they immediately shut down for cleaning). Thats more a problem with the quality of the people going but it ended the day for us.

Way overpriced. Water is too damn hot. Its like taking a bath with 25 strangers. Absolutely gross. Long stretches of uncovered sidewalk make for literal burns on kids feet.For 25 dollars you can drive to the North Pinellas ymca. It was 25 dollars for me, my wife, and all 6 of our kids for 7 days!!! And once youve signed up for the week you can go to the trinity YMCA (way closer but they do NOT let you sign up for the 7 day pass. Like my moneys no good there)Will never be back

Had my grandsons birthday party here! Fun had by all...staff friendly and thanked us for cleaning up as we did.

Really cute place, this was my first time going there for the back to school pool party and admission for npr residents was $4 for adults and kids (mine is 5, so not sure what age limits are for free admission, if available) alot of activities going on, if youre in the area with your kids this is a fun place thats got something for all of them

The slide was big and fun for everyone and anyone who cant swim has the declarative and playful kitty skwirt park and there is a spot for laps if thats what you please and a diving pool 12 ft deep and lifeguards galore

Went to low impact workout with TJ tonight. We saw him at Sims Park on Saturday for a preview. So decided to come try it out. It was a great workout! Cant wait to go on Thursday.
