A friend had helped maintenance this place we had driven by it unnoticed for years He let us take a tour inside it was amazing and I think almost 200yrs old. Its huge, choir loft looking over the ballroom bottom floor beautiful black/white checkered flooring has a nice backyard and ByWaters Hidden Gem perfect for weddings and socials

Luv this place I hold beautiful memories of this place my sons wedding n my seeing husbands n grand children address up in suits looking very elegant n my daughter n everybody dancing down the streets in New Orleans with marching bands n all these people joining in it was really a great three days before my husbands went before the Lord.luv u n hug u baby c u soon.

The musical group I saw there was perfect for the venue and vice versa. Also the interior is GORGEOUS!

Historical architecture .The Marigny was originally a Catholic parish called Holy Trinity Catholic Church,  now used for play, operahs and venues.

Beautiful old church built by and for German worshippers, now used for live performances and weddings. Usually open to see. Under restoration in May 2018, so scaffolds and workers are on site.

This is the kind of place that makes New Orleans great. It is a semi-public space and that makes it perfect for private parties and events. But it is also a special place to have a ticketed event. The owners are very easy to work with. The setting is amazing. Very special

Wonder if its the gothic architecture that makes the acoustics so hauntingly unique here? Already taken in some radical shows at the Marigny Opera House... but oddly enough, no operas.. yet.
