JAMNOLA is a unique artistic spot that is excellent for photos. Of course, there were several in-house photo booths and props for FREE.My favorite rooms was definitely the one where the Mardi Gras beads were recycled. I am an avid reuser of Mardi Gras beads. One can make magic out of them, as JAMNOLA did.The staff was excellent and displayed enjoyment and pleasure in their jobs.I do recommend JAMNOLA and will return with my nephews.
It was hard to find something open due to the pandemic so I was so happy to see they were accepting safe tours. Unbeknownst to me my uncle was feeling queasy due to low blood sugar. I let the tour guide know and I felt they gave us extra attention which was nice. He was hesitant to leave, he felt bad. One of the tour guides even got us some granola bars. They really went the extra mile in our book. We will be back again!
Second line to the Royal Street side of The New Orleans Center for the Arts and experience the joy of the City!A gracious tribute to NOLA art and music #JAMNOLA is marvelously curated. The mannequins are deceptively life like and you will never look into a mirror again without a memory of this cultural experience...The multi thousands Of Mardi Gras beads set in epoxy flooring is the cats meow...I recommend to pull back the curtain and experience the Joy Art & Music of New Orleans at JAMNOLA!!!
I normally hate educational museum type of things but I actually enjoyed this one. I thought all the tour guides were extremely nice, cool, and NOT BORING! I felt each room was given more than enough time to take as many pictures as you wanted after each tour guide gave their speech. I think the ticket price is extremely high but I mean if it supports local its fine, I guess. There is plenty of parking on the side of the building and along Royal St. Definitely some questionable folks hanging around across the street at night so be careful.
Very informative and fun. Great music and awesome photo opportunities. Definitely would do this again.
Amazing!!! Definitely did not disappoint!!! Amazing art work full of New Orleans culture!! Loved every minute of it!! Would definitely go back, kids had a blast!!!
So glad we stumbled upon JAMNOLA. We were looking for something fun to do and read about it in Nola.com. Great for the whole family. Brought my 4 year old daughter and husband and we all enjoyed it. You get to learn about NOLA culture, see amazing art exhibits by local artists and take lots of fun photos and boomerangs. By far the highlight of our trip. Our fav exhibits were the Bling Bayou and Garden of Legends.
Beautiful ode to the big easy- every detail oozes pride and knowledge about new orleans and all of its history. not to mention the beautiful showcase of local artists and colorful, boisterous rooms that immerse you in nola’s culture. wonderful and I can’t wait to see what they do for Halloween and onwards
I HAD AN AMAZING TIME. I LEARNED A LOT ABOUT THE HISTORY OF NEW ORLEANS! I would definitely go back again. I have to many good pictures in my phone. Price was really good to.
Ive been twice! Its so fun to walk around and take pics! FYI - much MORE fun to wear a costume.
So much fun. Been stuck in the house forever and finally decided to venture out with my family to JAMNOLA. I never made it to Museum of Ice Cream when I was in NYC so glad to see that NOLA finally has our very own pop-up. I was able to book a private tour of 6 so that me, my daughter and wife could be completely social distanced from other groups. Everyone has to wear masks and they did temperature checks and sanitized everything between groups. We felt very safe and really enjoyed the amazing exhibits. Took lots of great selfies and learned a lot about NOLA culture. Highly recommend!
I wish my city would let its art community show its potential and creative like Nola. It was an amazing experience and one I wont forget. Thank you to the artists who gave me a new take on Nola
Very interestingGreat tour, friendly staff.Great time
The exhibits were fun and the staff was friendly. Maybe its due to the covid restrictions, but I felt somewhat rushed from room to room. Honestly I dont feel like it was worth the price of admission. Had it been $10, I may have given it close to 5 stars. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes, so it didnt really feel like it was worth it.
Very beautiful artwork. Tour guides are energetic. Truly appreciate the distancing effort and hand sani in every room.
Family fun, modern artists celebrating the history of New Orleans culture...we had a blast!!!
Huge fan. What an amazing addition to the neighborhood. Great for creative brains of all ages!
Really Nice Place To Visit 2 Thumbs Up
It was ok. Somewhat disappointed in our experience. We were the 2pm tour, we got there 5 mins early and registered. Our guide began the tour then suddenly stopped and decided to add two more people to our group. We waited as the other group was caught up to where we were as far as explaining the experience. As were about to start, the other people mentioned they were scheduled for the 2:15pm tour but they had arrived early. They wanted to wait on a friend they were expecting for 2:15pm. After sorting everything out we began our tour, at that point it was around 2:10pm. The displays were nice but I felt extremely rushed through each exhibit. Since our tour started late, we were rushed as they came behind to sanitize for the group behind us. I didnt feel like we had enough time to even really look or take pictures. As soon as wed start looking or get one picture, the guide would come back to take us to the next room. I understand they were probably trying to get back on track, but I felt like our time was cut short in order to get the next group through on time. Id also like to add that we had two kids with us, it takes a little longer to get situated and take pictures. Everyone was nice, I just felt rushed through the whole thing. For what we paid, I was disappointed. Not worth the price in my opinion. We started around 2:10ish, it was 2:41pm when we we finished. Literally got like 5mins per room, if that.
Jamnola is an awesome experience for people wanting to learn more about the art, music, and history of New Orleans. They do a great job making it fun and interactive. You have to check out the big golden alligator!!
Even during Covid they have managed to make a safe and interactive art show. Definitely must stop by to learn about NOLA culture and capture amazing photographs.
So much fun! Beautiful art. Very interactive. A perfect addition to our wonderful city.
Amazing art and the history behind it just a cool place to visit and learn about the history of Mardi Gras and the city
A wonderful romp through an exciting version of New Orleans as dreamed up by local artists and artisans.
Amazing experience. Staff is very friendly and lively
Fun, safe, family friendly place to visit.
This museum is such a great way to learn more about the culture and art of New Orleans but also a super fun activity to go with your friends! It is such an immersive experience with tons of photo opportunities, while still being sure to keep everyone safe during COVID-19. My favorite room is the crawfish room that are bigger than myself! Be sure to check them out.
It was fun & cool but in my opinion overpriced for what it was.
It was fun & nice but in my opinion overpriced Lol
A must see for locals and visitors! Very well done; the artists captured all we love about NOLA in truly fun and unique ways!
So much fun! New Orleans artists can turn anything into beauty!
You havr to visit this spot. Fun, enjoyable, while learning about the city.
Went to NOLA for my birthday weekend and the thing I was most excited about was jamnola. It looked different and more interesting than regular museums and I loved the fact that you could take pictures with everything. The problem came when last tour guide came up. (There was a total of 3) and while the first two ladies let our group take much time as we needed to take pics the last one rushed us to the point where she was saying “come on we have to go let’s go!” Like a drill Sargeant. She even stood there staring and making everyone uncomfortable and rushed until they moved to the next room where she wanted them. I would say she did all of the last few rooms in less than ten minutes which is nearly not enough time to explore the art and take pics.Needless to say she ruined our experience and I will not be back nor would I recommend this place to anyone that asks as long as she works there. She has no business in customer service and needs to be put behind a desk somewhere where she doesn’t have contact with the public. For reference and if your company wants to do something about it: I visited this past Saturday 8/15/20 at 10:40. I’m sure you can look at your schedule and see who I’m talking about.
Great art exhibit featuring NOLA artists and history!

Soooo much fun and colors!!!!! Totally go!!!!!
This was such a fun experience, especially for a local! I swear, we never stop learning about the art and culture in New Orleans. This place is a vessel of information and education. My favorite part was the mini-doc highlights of an old Mardi Gras reel, I almost cried. Great place for locals, tourists, and kids to experience.
