Lynn Deming Park

Lynn Deming is a nice little day getaway for locals and visitors alike. A park pass is required to enter. The park is usually open from Memorial Day to Labor Day between sunrise and sunset. It has a nice little beach area with clean water and ample parking. Lifeguards are usually on duty during the peak hours of the day. There is a pavilion with benches and restrooms near by. Alcohol, animals, and smoking (on the beach) are prohibited. There is a boat launch and boat docks are available.

Great little park for swimming in the lake, playing, or picnics.

Small quaint neighborhood lake beach. My family and I enjoyed it. It’s typically quiet, beach is fairly clean.

This is a nice well-maintained lakeside park for New Milford residents with a pretty little woodland trail and playground.

This is not a public beach. It is for Milford residents only. I drove 1 hr to enjoy the park and I was unable to enter this beach area. I wish your website would inform general public about it

Quiet and relaxing by the water . Better in the water.

To the people who come and pay to use the park, we are happy to have you. Resident and non resident. Unfortunately, the daily passes are only sold at the Park and Rec.People who have passes do abuse them by trying to come with 2 or 3 loads of people in and out. That won’t be tolerated by the Park and Rec or Security. You will be asked to leave.We are fully aware of it. Try and bring in alcohol, you will be caught too.To the people who come from other areas or drive a distance to get here and ask more than once to come in because they drove far, seriously? Do your research. The Park and Rec will sell you a pass. $25 day pass and their not open on the weekends.I’m sure people know the policies but act like they don’t. So the others complaining on the reviews, I hope this post will enlighten you.

Growing up here this park always needed a little help. Well, this town gave it just that and its great now! The park is great, the beach is clean and the bathrooms serve their purpose. Now they just need a concession stand and it would be perfect!

What a great park. Clean, well maintained, picnic tables, bbq grills, boat docks, swimming area, playground area with zipline. It was not staffed due to the late in season. We cant wait to come back and go swimming.

It was a very nice and calm lake, not crowded with people which was great. I actually got to lay under the sun and read my book in peace.

A very nice venue for family relaxation and fun, with a cute well maintained beachfront, and meticulous life guards. Definitely fun for all, but the rules about residents only are rather uptight, something the mayor wants MORE strictly enforced. So if your family comes up for a visit, dont think of taking them there unless you can cram them into one car. And you cant even walk or bike there, because you must have a parking sticker to enter

The lighting and parking lot was done beautiful and the new gate system is high tech and working great

It cost too much money. The water is dirty anyway so it’s really not worth it. Do not recommend if you want it go in the water with your friends.

Lynn Deming Park is beautiful. It is very nice how the previous Mayor fixed it up. Hope the knew Mayor continues to improve and beautify of lake front. After all, tourism is very important to the region. I own a second home there because I wanted to be close to Candlewood Lake.

Very hot, but enjoyed laying in sun half naked roasting! Does that sound too weird?

Great escape for the day, however, if the doc is to be closed that day I wish they would post a sign upon entering, or on the dock even.. stating that it is closed.. rather than whistling at the kids after they’ve already swam out to it just to get yelled at once they’ve reached it!

I wish it was easier for non residents to visit

Wonderful town park! Plenty of parking and picnic tables. Charcoal grills and bathrooms with changing rooms. Great way to spend a day at candlewood lake.

The parks looks okay, but you have to pay to go in during the summer. I have looked it over in the winter, but maybe not the best season for this park.

Beach looks nice, but water is gross. Milfoil city.

Good Boat Launch

If you can, walk there to you dont have to pay for entrance via car. There are benches/tables to have a picnic, a small playground, a place to swim, and a place to dock your boat.
