Genesis VR

This place is a ton of fun! I have tried the other place localy and they did not have their virtual reality set up for kids, Genesis VR does. Their private room set up makes this place place feel very relaxed. They have a staff that takes the time so that you and the rest of your party feel comfortable with your new age gaming experience. This place would be a great place for a birthday party or a nice way to beat the heat or cold. The sofas in the private rooms make any viewers feel comfortable while they wait their turns. With over 50 games, this place has something for everyone.

This place never disappoints. My daughter and her friends were there yesterday and they all had a blast. The staff is not only professional but helpful and engaging. Thank you!

We had our sons birthday party here a few months ago and everyone had a great time. The owner was fantastic and so helpful. We took the kids back again today and they all had a great time! Highly recommended!

The check-in experience was easy. We booked our room over email, and check-in was extremely fast. Every interaction from start-to-finish was polite. The questions that came up during gameplay were all answered quickly.Theres a variety of games, and we found multiple options for younger kids. The hardware setup worked as intended. The tracking felt accurate for both adults and kids. The primary interface, SteamVR I believe, was easy to navigate. Switching users and switching games only took a few seconds. It was very easy to get help at all times. I was surprised at how well the instructions to the children went.As a gaming-related experience, I think Genesis VR is more akin to an Escape Room session or a day at Galloping Ghost. Its good company to be in, especially when compared to a more typical arcade experience.

This place is so much fun! Fun for all ages! Josh is very helpful and informative. The place is clean and the couches in the rooms are very comfortable. There are so many fun games to choose from. If you want to get the kids out of their rooms and have some fun with them, this is the place. You all will have a great time!

Great place! Professional staff.....and have a blast with my kids and their friends every time we go. I truly enjoy the old school gaming systems out near the lobby that occupy us older folks while the kids are treating themselves to the future of gaming

Very nice staff, and a great selection of games to choose from. The addition of having old systems like the NES, and the N64 was pretty cool. I have, and will gladly tell me friends about this location. I played nothing but Gorn, Beat Saber, and Zero Caliber. Even my mother liked it! If possible, I would rate more than 5.

This place is a local gem. Josh and his crew are extremely nice and it is clear he has a passion for these games. Finding a space where I can play 50+ VR games using top notch gear is just awesome. You are able to change whichever game you are playing at any time. There is a good mix of single player and multiplayer games, so if on your own or with a group you are sure to have fun. Im giving friends and family gift cards this holiday season.

My kids love this place. It is a little costly for one hour but it is a good treat for the kids every now and than. Lots of fun for the whole family.

Were always trying to find something fun for a night out with our young adults family. This was an absolute Hit. We had so much fun that when it was time to leave the kids wanted to stay and uber home!! Absolutely a blast for everyone!!!

Great place to take the kids! Or even for adults! There are the Vr rooms and then also a few vintage games. Pricing is great and there is some where for mom or dad to sit while the kids play.

Genesis VR is worth every visit possible. It’s a super unique take on the VR gaming business. The ownership and staff are more than knowledgeable, accommodating, and quite frankly some of the friendliest people I’ve met. I highly recommend booking your next party here but urge you to do so months in advance. Based on the concept, staff, and product line having a few hours here for a party may be difficult if you plan last second. 5/5 - definitely plan on spending more time here in the near future.

You can rent rooms up to 4 people out for an hour for $30. $20 for a half hour. Extremely enjoyed my visit, it was my first time playing VR and I have to say its worth the 50 minute drive just to get there for me. They have somewhere around 50+ games to choose from that you can switch between relatively fast.

First time there and I will be back, with and without my boys! My boys are CRAZY for VR and this establishment EXCEEDED my expectations. Great value, extremely friendly staff, clean facility... and a long list of available games. This family night out was an absolute HIT and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone interested in gaming or VR. You wont be disappointed~

We love playing here! We get 2 rooms for 1.5 hours each so everyone has enough time to play and not feel rushed. Staff is Friendly and Helpful

Brought my son and his friends for his 11th birthday. We did 2 hrs in 3 rooms for 9 boys and they all loved it. Plenty of game choices and time for them to play everything. The old arcade games were awesome too. Staff was super helpful and attentive. Thanks for a great party!

Such a fun place for all ages!!! We will be back again and again! Josh is always helpful and the games are amazing!

The New Lenox School District 122 PTO invited the Genesis VR to our 2019 Family Fun Fair! They were able to set up two stations and supply games! They brought their own team members to help players to get a fun experience. Many kids and parents gave the PTO great feedback for inviting Genesis VR to the fun fair. They really helped us upgrade our old school fun fair into a new gaming generation! They included a raffle prize to treat one player to additional time at their location in New Lenox. We look forward to your participation at our 2020 PTO Fun Fair. Thank you for working on a lower cost to help us to support our kids, teachers, and schools of New Lenox District 122.

Had my sons birthday party here. Each kid walked out saying they wanted their birthday party here too. Everyone had fun. We will definitely be back. Thanks Josh, you definitely have returning customers!!

I mostly played Goron the whole time I was there, it was very fun. Then I did richie’s plank and it was breathtaking

Love this place! Always a fun time and always great staff around to help. Totally recommend this place!

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!!! My son celebrated his 8th birthday with his cousins ages 6-11. The kids really did enjoy themselves and we will visit again this year when we visit family. Several options to choose from for VR games for all ages. For me, as an adult, I was totally blown away at the reality of the game. This is a must do while in Lenox

My boys love Genesis VR! I highly recommend checking it out.

Love this place and i come here all the time with my buddy’s, it’s cheaper and more fun when you have more friends with

Fun place for tweens, teens, and adults, seriously a blast. Clean and helpful. Will be back

Our boys(7 and 10) love Genesis VR.

This place is awesome set up a time on VR you wont regret it! My video game hating wife loved it!

Took my kids there, 10 and 14. They LOVED it. Staff are very nice people. Great concept that enables people to use higher end VR gear. Facility is clean. The googly eyes on the headsets are hilarious! The price is worth it too. When I asked my kids would you rather each play here for an hour, or go to a [traditional] arcade with $12.50? Both said here hands down.

This place is awsome! Great time great price

No complaints this place is awesome the only thing I would like is an option to play longer than an hour other than that its all amazing

Always a great time. So many choices of what to play there

Swag place, nice atmosphere and I get to be weird in private :)

Great place to chill with friends..... place was neat and clean.... definitely coming back and recommending to people

Just went here for the first time with my buddy and it was so much fun, and Josh, the owner, took care of us and really made us feel welcome! Defiantly coming back and recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Awesome place to game!

Great place, Great party and reasonable place for a kids event!!!

Great place, I had loads of fun

Fun games and nice people.

Gvr was really fun and was pretty cheap for 1 hour and 30 mins it feels so real.

Great place nice staff overall fun for mostly any age

A very cool concept with nice and helpful staff. Unbeatable pricing.

The owner always tries to cater to any age group with his games that he has

Being one of the first gaming places to come to new lenox I had to try it. The VR systems that they use are htc Vive. It is $25 an hour and they do have a few game but are looking to see what people would like to play. Otherwise I had a great time and the employees were very nice, also say hi to Josh and Emily

Place was really nice, staff was extremely polite and helpful, place was super clean and organized. They even had old school consoles, only thing I reccomend is maybe drinks for purchase, overall 5/5

Tons of fun at a very reasonable price

Pretty snazzy I do say so myself

Fun for the whole family!

Great
