We had a great stay. Clean. Friendly. Fun. 4 minute lazy river. Splash pad. Good music. Fishing. Yeah great place.

I had reservations in May this year. Understandably, because of the COVID outbreak, they had to cancel all reservations for the month of May. Heres the kicker....THEY want to charge ME a cancellation fee even though I didnt cancel my reservation....they did!! I have spent a lot of money and numerous weekends camping here over the years, not to mention all the other friends I had come camping with us in their campers as well and this is how they treat their loyal customers. I also drive a pretty far distance to camp at this place. If a $17 cancellation fee is worth losing a loyal customer, then so be it. Its not about the $17, its about the principle of it. If this situation is not resolved, I will never spend another penny at this place!

Nice clean rv park. Loud music from the rodeo arena playing and the boom boom boom from the bass vibrating in your RV was no fun. We wont be back.

Beautiful, well kept, friendly service, great entertainmentand very easy to park, with full hookup. I highly recommend this campground for relaxing or using the lazy river or just swimming in the pool to cool off.

Very nice place to visit/relax however, they need more office help or faster receptionist/desk employees. Anything dealing with the office takes for ever! Your going for a relaxing fun time not to spend a huge part of your time in the office. Pricing is reasonable. Overall a nice weekend.

Beautiful park but nobody was here to check us in. We had called 3 times with no answer. It seems it is run by Parks and Recreation When you get here there is a number posted you can call but it’s not on their website. There is a cable box to hook up to but no cable? It’s gated so if you can’t talk to someone to get the code you can’t get in. I would not have been happy to park in the unserviced parking lot after prepaying We also paid over the phone with a credit card only to be told now that we owe them $ 2.54. Apparently it’s a service charge for using a credit card. Can’t they tell you this at the time? It would be nice to have real people here to help you. We won’t return

I was told, They got no tubes for the lazy river. You must bring your own.

Hardly anyroom between the spots and some dont even have tables like other campsites do. Only good thing about the place was the pool.

Love to camp here always friendly service and they have a lovely pool with a lazy river. During the summers they also have bands and a nice bar with friendly bartenders. Golfcart and pet friendly also. While the bar is CLOSED you cant bring your own drinks in.

Springtime buyer beware. When we looked at the website there was a pool, a lazy river, a place for cocktails & food called Tropicajun. When we got there, it was a parking lot with utilities. I dont know where those things are but they are not visible in the park. It was 85 degrees outside. We arrived hot, tired and hungry. We were charged summer rates in April, but absolutely NO summer amenities were availble. Also, there is no cable. We were so disappointed. After a Good Sam discount we paid $47.00. Nearby Koc Campground has prettier shaded sites for $29.25...they have cable and laundry. I wish I had chosen them.

Its 4th ot July weekend and they closed the office at SIX OCLOCK the day before the 4th so people couldnt check in the day before....which made us stand in line for TWO hours ON the 4th to check in BECAUSE NOBODY got here till 10 AM!!!! Good place to camp BUT HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT! Parish owned it not SOMETHING has to be better than this!!

Great place. Pool area is wonderful but it would be even nicer if staff would help monitor the pool area. Lots of kids running around unsupervised. People just standing around in the lazy river blocking the floats from being able to pass.

Some reasons not to go back... The little round bartender (with glasses and darker hair) is selective on who she waits on, There is an 18% Gratuity Charge on TABS at the bar (1. None of the bartenders arent even worth 5%! 2. Mandatory 18% on overpriced drinks are not the same as 18% service at a restaurant. 3. Maybe thats why the bartenders are worthless because of the mandatory tip system - they dont have to work for it). They also charge the credit card fee when you check in. They are passing this on to the customers when this is what the business is supposed to pay to their CC company for utilizing the credit card system (kinda like if a gas station is to charge Extra for the lights to be on). Doesnt matter though, because this place is filled with the type of customers that dont go too far and they stay packed. The only friendly person at this place was the lady that I talked to when making the reservation.

Havent been this year (yet) but we went last year and went even more often the year before when it was Cajun RVera. The pool/splashpad/lazy river is SO much fun! Its an amazing place to bring young kids... Dont forget their puddle jumpers (and if you dont know what they are, look them up - best summer water fun purchase youll ever make for kids age 1-6!).

Its Fiday night and we had fun with a group of campers sitting by the camper fire listening to music. Great time!

Nice place to camp. Lazy river and pool nice. The bands that play there are pretty good.

We had a good time. Management could be better but once you get passed the quirkiness and start enjoying the pool and lazy river, it was great. The sites are laid out a little odd. Some were back in but if you backed in the utilities would be on the wrong side. Well go back. We had a great time.

Had a very bad weekend at the Isle. For $60.00 a night its not worth the money. The grass is tall mosquitoes are bad.thebreakers kept tripping at most of the sites and had to pack up and move to another site twice in 1 night. NOT WORTH THE MONEY OR TIME. Louisiana has many more places to go for a good time. The Isle is a RIP off stay away

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.First - they will not tell you that they offer a veteran discount. So once you book and pay and then arrive and ask about it. Their reply, “Well now you know, so next time ask for it before you pay”.Second - make sure you ask for your after hours code to get back in. Or you will do like us and sit at the gate waiting to get back in. Luckily a fellow camper pulled up after us and we asked him, he explained that the office should have given a code for the front gate. He gave us his until the next day that we could go back to the office and ask.Third - you will wait FOREVER in the office while the ladies answer the phone. Obviously don’t realize that you have paying customers right in front of you while you answer phone call after phone call.Fourth - Space is a joke. Your awning will almost be on your neighbors slide out. And the mud after it rains even a slight drizzle with help to keep everything nice and dirty for you.Fifth - if you come during the week, the pool that you paid for with your reserved rv spot will be overcrowded with day visitors that are not here to camp but just to swim. So you will not get a table or bench to sit at.Sixth - the food stand is absolutely the slowest place to order anything. You will take roughly 10 minutes to order a snowball and then wait roughly 20 minutes to have that snowball show up at the window.Seventh - they post rules, but only enforce some. Noise is ridiculous over here but granted that is the lack of respect from fellow campers after hours.Eight - if you go to the bar and order an overpriced drink. You will pay $18.00 for a Tropicajun drink (good drink) but if you walk outside the gate that is ten feet away to go smoke next to their smoke can with your drink they will make you throw it away as soon as you come back into the pool / bar area with the excuse that you can’t bring that drink back in even though you bought the drink from them. Also they are some of the must rude unprofessional people you will meet. ATTITUDE all the way around.Ninth - as a disabled veteran I would have liked to park at the pool gate so I would not have to walk with the disabilities that I have but guess what. One rule they do not enforce is, who parks in the minimum handicap parking spots they have. Even though these spots are not next to the entrance of the pool area. They are still not available to the people that have legal placards to use them.Tenth - RUDE RUDE RUDE. Most people like to go camping to enjoy themselves and kick back and have a good time but this place is ridiculous. Nothing is about the customer.Spend your money somewhere else.

Most the pieces are there. Sites are ok, and the pool, ( pretty much the only attraction) is great on average weekends. Then they book music.

Very expensive and small with overload of rules. Cant leave out the gate or have to pay $10 to reenter but theres no where to lockup your belongings. They dont allow you to bring anything in either.

Is a nice park, not busy when we were here, staff is very friendly and helpful. They are trying to make it a prime resort, got a ways to go. Pool and activities center is exceptional.

Most definitely the worst place ever. Website says you get ten bracelet passes and we get here and only get 6 so we had to make family leave because we couldnt give them a pass. Cajun palms rv resort in Henderson is way better in so many different ways.

Update......same o, same o. Nothing improved on sites & still rude staff. What happen to concession stand?!?!? That & the bar where the only things (besides the pool) that was pleasant on our last trip but now.....looks like they have someone new in concession. HORRIBLE!! One person working..wait too long, food not good & snoballs, what a joke. No comparison to who ran it last year. Their food was great & consistent. Hardly no wait time & snoballs a favorite. So great job trying to change things up. You changed the wrong thing!!!!I have camped at the Isle over the summer and it definitely needs improvements. The staff from the front office to those on the grounds and pool area definitely need improvement in customer service. I find most of them very rude. The camper spots are very narrow. The concrete is practically the width of your camper so you step out of your camper onto the grass. They did try to widen the spots with limestone but it is so hard to walk on and can just about twist you ankle every time. One positive thing is the pool. It Can get a little crowded if you go on a busy weekend. The staff at the Bar and Concession stand where the only ones pleasant to deal with and their food and drinks purchased from them, very good! You can no longer charge on your wrist band but this is not a deal breaker for me. This eliminates my children running up my credit card - LOL. However I feel this place only receives one star from me until they can make major improvements to the property and staff.

I have know idea whats happened to this place. Camping is supposed to be fun, relaxing, happy, kick your feet up, or dance. Well, this place is the farthest from this! WHO is the person in charge??? From me having to stop in at the office to have office staff put on my wrist band! Like WTH?!?! is wrong with you people??? Your so called pool security grabbing my 10 year old grand daughter, when she should have said maam, could you please have her put her foot behind the white line, and not take it upon herself to just walk up, grab her, one hand on her chest and one on her back, and not a word was said! while my husband and I were just putting things together, to go back to the camper. Also, if your pool security has to get up and enforce the rules, you can forget it! Shes not walking in the heat! Shell sit with her husband and younger son, and I assume thats her older son that also works around the pool. I ordered Titos double on the rocks I drink this! I know what it tastes like, I know how I feel with one drink, because all it takes is one!!! I felt nothing. The next day I ordered a Bloody Mary, in a bucket? again, nothing! and to top it off, when I came back to my table, after a round in the lazy river, the damn thing was gone!!! They picked the dang thing up! So the next day I ordered a Cajun something, again, NOTHING! So I ordered a beer, and BAM! I felt that! WOW!!!! Then the bartender had nachos, looked really goood...lots of chips and cheese, so I ordered Nachos. Well, when the owner of the concession stand brought my order to me, it looked nothing like the bartenders AT ALL!! So, I asked why my order was so small and didnt look like the other persons order, he reply was, get ready! Well her chips were standing up, and yours are laying down!!!!! so I asked if she could please add more chips and cheese. She came back with more chips, NO cheese! So I asked her again for my cheese, she got very loud and very ugly, and again I do have my grand daughter with me, I just told her to give me my money back. Im not sure who is responsible for this place, or who is allowing this to go on, or if these are the NEW rules. SHAME on YOU!!! Resort? please, please... I am in sales myself, and if I treated my clients in this manner I would be broke!! YOU CAN NOT!!! This place is failing! If you really want a fun place, please get some advise from a professional, because whom ever is in charge of all of these changes, apparently knows nothing, and is more than likely getting paid way to much! I see this place closing soon! I am also posting this on every other site, Yelp, Google, ect.

A little disappointing. We paid 55.00 p nite to get the premium sites. We had no Wi-Fi or cable. For that price that should be working. Kept blowing breakers in the camper, which has never happened before. So we figured we were not getting a full 50 amp. Then our friends we are camping with lost complete power on their camper. Not to mention it is nearly 100 degrees outside. Took over 3 hours for them to get someone out to fix it. Not happy campers at all.On the other hand the park is nice. Cement pads. A lot of lime stone a Little hard to walk on, pool is beautiful. Kids loved it.

Horrible, get here and told the pool is closed on Monday for Maintenance but yet they fell to tell you that until you get here. Tuesday way to the pool keep in mind only 6 campers here. Get to the pool and there are 3 bus loads of kids. Finally they leave to have part of the pool closed for swimming lessons. They do have have a lazy river but you would think tubes would be included but there not so make sure to bring one. For the pool to be closed at 6:00p.m. sunday and all day monday you would expect ot to be clean but it had a lot of bugs in the water.The RV area does have cement only big enough for the RV rock everywhere else you walk. Opened the electrical box to hook up the camper only to find a huge wasp nest had to clean it out to get the power to work. WiFi does work. Very disappointed for what it cost was hoping for something similar to Cajun pawns but not even close. Paid for the week probably leaving today maybe the extra days I paid for can go to helping better this place.
