Trail is very easy to navigate. My husband and I walked it with our dog and 5 kids from ages 2-13 which included a baby I watch strapped to my chest. My husband wore the toddler as well but my 4 year old walked it unassisted with no problem. There were some really neat large rocks that had some caves for the kids to explore too.
Short hike with some pretty good gain.
Nice little spot for a small hike.
Nice 1 mile loop trail. Summit is mostly wooded, but theres a lower crest on the right (as you head up) that has a lot of bald mossy bedrock. Good for a picnic!
The loop trail takes 34 minutes to complete when going at a quick walk and no to limited stopping. Nice ledges with lichen. A shaky but safe metal foot bridge crosses a stream. Some dogs are scared to walk on it and walk through the mud bottom stream.
Nice trails, good winter walking, but icy...
Very well marked
