Awesome! Very nice place always keeps clean. Large choice of class at every hours. Free parking. Child care was very useful for me. Special thanks to Miss Dee who took care of my kids very carefully and lovingly. She is like a grandma for my older one. All the staff is welcoming and smiling (except the manager of the child care and her daughter). Also I enjoyed the hamman, the luxurious locker room and the family swimming time. (You can bring your kids at the pool the weekend)This gym made my life better! Thanks!Nevertheless, its a bit pricey.

Looks nice but I’ll never know. It’s crazy that most gyms - and I mean best of the best - offer day passes that you can purchase. Not here. So advice to all my business travelers who come to New Brunswick, find another spot. Super disappointing (and backwards).

Facility : clean and comprehensive . Good amount of equipment and classes, I particularly enjoy that theres a good pool, sauna, and hot tub.Staff: friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.Overall: Pros: Best gym Ive attended. Has everything you need in a gym and wellness center and more. Cons: gets somewhat crowded at peak hours near weights section and could use even more cable weights. Depending on pricing, may get pricey, but given my situation its well worth the cost for me. Overall:I recommend it to most anyone in the area.

Beautiful facilities and wonderful group fitness teachers, yoga every day. Love caregivers Miss Dee and Megan - so above and beyond the average. Jenn is an awesome personal trainer. Like a spa, especially when paired with Massage Envy. This place makes a HUGE difference in my quality of life. Parking is easy and validated in garage. Stop downstairs for fresh groceries on your way out to make the evenings healthy dinner. Life is good when youre at the gym. I tried other YMCAs and they arent comparable in any way.

I called and asked for the price of the membership and she was acting dodgy like its a secret Im not supposed to know and she admitted theyre not at the front desk on display. She said I would have to make an appointment for a tour and I would only know the price at the end. Ridiculous.

The staff members are really the stars at this center. From the trainers and instructors to the nurse, everyone Ive met has provided nothing but support and encouragement during my fitness journey. I would highly recommend RWJ F&W to everyone.

I had a very unprofessional experience with the physical therapy/occupational therapy department here. I had been concerned regarding the prices for sessions here. The office specifically quoted me a reasonable price per each session after they explicitly told me they would contact my insurance and find out how much I would have to pay. As it turns out after two sessions I received a bill over TEN TIMES what I was promised I would have to pay by the office. This was even more frustrating when the office basically told me Im out of luck and have to pay up the full bill. Incredibly unprofessional and unreliable. DO NOT quote a price if you have no idea what youre talking about. How can you trust the treatment here after a session like this? Not to mention the office could not even own up to their own mistake.

Came in to get price and details of the membership and I had the worst experience here Ive ever had at a gym, not because of the gym but because of the rude and unprofessional sales consultant Lurdys. I came to sign up my father who has high blood pressure and does not understand english very well so i had to ask questions to explain to him. First, i told her Ive been to this gym and want to sign him up I dont need the details since I know what the gym has, she replied EXCUSE ME..etc since there it went downhill, i asked another question about other gyms Robertwood has and she completely ignored me.. then we went to see the pool. We looked for 15 seconds and said we had to leave right now in a rude way. Kept asking about other things and there nothing but one or two word answers with attitude. I had no clue why she was this unprofessional. I finally asked what I had done for her to be acting this way and she abruptly yelled I CANT DO THIS ANYMORE and stormed out the room for the manager to come. The manager came and did not ask us anything, just kicked us out and said we have to come another day. My father was furious and confused as why she was acting that way. This lady wasted an hour of our Sunday, seriously has issues when we told her WE WANT TO SIGN UP from the start.

The franchise itself is good overall, but the management here could be better. I walked a couple miles all the way to this gym with my cousin who was 16. Not realizing he had to be 18, they would not let him enter, despite being an adult myself. Okay, thats policy. However, they lack the ability to communicate in a professional manner. Also, this is the most expensive gym out there $300+ down and over $70/mo. So this upscale gym should allow its customers to bring a guest, since many other gyms do so and theyre a lot less expensive.

I recently decided to take control of my health after recovering from breast cancer and a broken wrist. I attended a cancer group meeting where a speaker enlightened us the importance of exercising after receiving chemo and radiation. He mentioned the RWJ Fitness & Wellness center, so I decided to go over there and check it out. I spoke to one of general managers there he went over everything very explicitly, not once did I feel pressured into joining. I first decided to spend the money for 16 sessions with a personal trainer, so I can get a good understanding on how to use the equipment and how it will help me strengthen my body. After only having 7 sessions I decided I to join the gym. I find it has a lot of amenities that most gyms do not have. The place is clean and the employees are very helpful. The fact that they have a board of doctors and with a nurse on site, accessibility to a personal trainer and a Massage Envy, which Im a member of. This gym is far better than any other gym Ive ever been a member of and I have been a member two other gyms.

Ive been a member since it opened and go several times a week. Best gym Ive belonged to. Yes its expensive if youre not a New Brunswick resident, but worth it for the quality and service. Excellent staff and encouraging trainers, and there are a lot of different group workout programs available for those who want that. I have friends who drop their kids off in the kiddie room and that is a huge value for them. This place is a huge benefit to the health of New Brunswick and surrounding communities.

It is clean, well maintained equipment, many group workout options. Private coaches available. Do your own thing is also very comfortable. Spacious clean locker rooms. Some irritating management hiccups....hopefully those will be addressed and fixed. Convenient location for me and hours of operation make for easy scheduling.

Finally a Latino gym! You wont find much English spoken here!Machines have instructions in Spanish as well. Not alot of Americans. Very crowded though, and benches are covered with oil and sweat. Hard to get a machine and people tend to sit on the equipment while they recover. Hard to get a locker and lockers smell. Locals pay $30, everyone else is like double that.

Nice and clean space, clean and luxurious locker rooms.The only con is if you are coming in as someones guest, they have to take yourblood pressure and everything each day you come in and they dont keep it on file.Other than this this is a nice place to work out and swim/use sauna facilities.

Best Gym Ive ever been in or a member of. It has a terrific upbeat atmosphere, that I think trickles down from a very positive, upbeat manager with a can do attitude. As a New Brunswick resident I think the free daycare is worth the membership price alone, as a New Brunswick Recreation Board Member, I value the terrific positive effect the gym has had on the community. Keep up the good work.

I am a member of one of their other gyms. When I have to travel by train, this center is a convenient stopping point where I can get my workout in. The equipment is great and has a wide variety of cardiovascular and strength machines. The gym is also very clean and neat. You get a lot for your money here.

To Whom It May Concern:Today (Sunday, Novemver 25), the Womens Steam room was not operating. This is a constant problem that seems to not have an end insight. Very frustrating and a frequent disappointment.

I had to take a medical leave and the member service staff recommended that instead of canceling my account I freeze it for $5/month which I had to pay $30 on the spot for the 6 month freeze. They still took payment for the next month $32.10. I called for a refund of my credit card for the $32.10 since that month is frozen and they refused. They are quick to take your money and they do not care about the service your receive. They advertised nurse evaluations, trainer...I only received this when I signed up, no follow up.Ashley Allen from member services was rude and dismissive when I requested a refund to my credit card. I will be canceling my membership at this gym.

It was a great location I had an awesome walkthrough with Charmaine. How punctual ality and overall assessment of the location and knowledge of the equipment drove me to join.

Their attitude is to collect money and no option for a member, customer. If you want to cancel the membership they make it hard for you. They do not accept it via e-mail, make you walk in and then send the bill to collection agencies for the balance anyway even if you sent them the e-mail about cancellation and walked in to cancel. They have a big competition, and their membership is the most expensive in the area. Horrible attitude towards their customers

The trainers are top notch. The facility is damn-near spotlessly maintained. Racists are welcome to move to Idaho and join a militia.Hello? This is a business! Did you expect an absence of salespersons?Worth every penny.

The staff is polite and knowledgable. The gym has greatly helped me be as strong and fit as I can be. It is a marvelous facility and I am deeply grateful for its presence in New Brunswick.

The center is clean and the staff is courteous. Ive been a member since Aug 2014 & never a problem. The manager, Michael Onorato, is professional & responsive. He keeps the place running well and very clean. Highly recommend.

Expensive but comes with various of benefits with Sauna and Steam room with clean bathrooms and above than average lockers as well as an aquatic center then the price is not the problem. I myself go to workout and take a shower so i find it expensive but the quality of the equipment is pretty good for the amount of time they have had the gym running now. Use all of the equipment to look pass of the cost.

Ill go to a gym where I dont have to pay for parking. Last 2 times here Ive paid to get out of the parking garage. First time it was my fault that I stayed for 3:20 mins and they only validate 3hrs. Second time I stay less than 2 hours & they rubber stamped the parking ticket and say theres a parking attendant at the gate that will accept it because their scanners isnt working. At the gate there is no one and now theres a line of angry drivers trying to beat rush hour. So I pay, annoyed, but figure Ill call and let them know to stop telling people therell be a parking attendant until they confirm this. Not even an apology, just saying someones on the way..I already left, thats no help.

I have yet to have a problem with any of tge staff. Tge place is kept clean and am aways greeted well by the person at the front check in/out. I have been a member since the beginning my interest was the therapy pool for my workout the only problem i have is that i have to walk through the mens looker room to take an elevator down to the pool area locker rooms. There need to be a better way to get to the pool area without going through the mens locker room so i can use an elevator to go down to the pool area for that i give it a four stars.

What a difference the Center has made for me & my husband in last 10 months!! :-) I actually would like to thank Michael for speaking with me on the phone and being persistent to come and visit the Robert Wood Johnson Fitness & Wellness Center, New Brunswick. Michael spent sufficient time to get to know us first and then go over the details of various programs at the facility. Previously I had been going to your Bridgewater facility (which is good too), but so glad he encouraged us to join this facility which is much closer to our home and has many varieties of equipment and flexible long hours. The training staff is super friendly and always ready to help on the floor. What I like the most about the facility, you actually have follow ups with the assigned trainer as well as the nurse evaluation. This keeps me accountable and manage the progress!when I joined at the end of October/November last year, my medical report showed - a very high level of blood sugar, cholesterol and also somewhat elevated blood pressure. I could only walk so much and my knees and back would start to hurt. The trainer assigned to me, Alex, is simply great. Having Polio, he really took the time to understand my need and designed the exercise that would suit me and benefit me at the same time. Its been 10 months and I can say, without pushing, Alex keeps monitoring with me every so often to make sure I am ok and if there is opportunity to gear up a notch of certain type of exercise. I started to see the positive difference in me in just 3 months.. I try to come in 2-3 times a week for an hour of session. I started out with moderate exercise, and now able to also walk for quite a few minutes on treadmill. I seem to have super energy to do lot more many things. :-) All my medical readings have been better than normal, and of course lost weight too.So once again, I cant thank you all enough for bringing this positive change in my life. My journey continues at the RWJFWC. My husband joins me in thanking you too, for it has made difference for him as well.

Member for a couple of years and so far its been great. Down to earth human capital, well mantained, very convenient and affordable.

Their lack of transparency and unhelpful sales staff (call them what they are) were not helpful. All we want to know is how much a membership cost. Thats it.

I recently joined this gym but not sure how long i will be staying. If you like working out with people with body odor, people who appear to be in gangs and give you evil stares as well as transvestites that are tatted up then this just might be the gym for you!!This gym could be a nice gym but there are ALOT of unsavory characters who use this gym bc the mayor of New Brunswick decided it would be a good idea for the city to subsidize any New Brunswick resident so they only pay $35 a month. I work out at a different location of this gym (in Princeton) and it is soo much nicer. That is why you see all the other locations rated above 4 stars and this one rated near 3 stars. I will most likely be quitting this gym bc the people that work out here are super gross (extreme body odor) and super ghetto

Well well well I had the worst experience with the general manager in charge I have ever had of course he was in a suit and a good looking guy but he was a major a hole! he would not discuss price with me and told me I would be joining at the end of our time together even though I had no intention on joining anywhere until I looked at other places, he asked me 3xs why I was there and3xs I told him I had never been to a wellness center and I wanted to explore my options 3 xs he told me I will join before the day was over, I tried to tell him if I am wasting your time I will leave before the tour and he still would not tell me the price, he was insulting, rude, talked over & thru me, and I felt like all I was $ to him. When I tell people the story they say how and why would you let someone talk to you that way and again I said I wanted to open my mind and explore the option of a wellness center. I ended up not joining and feeling awful after I left there. I would have called and complained to the manager but he was the manager as he slipt in to tell me I could have met with his staff but he chose to see me and I thought well arent I the lucky one. After reading some of the other reviews I feel better, The staff was not that friendly and they called me to switch my apt from 3:45 to 3:30 and I rushed to get there and he did not come out until close to 4:15pm making me wait.

If u like to stay in line to every piece of equipment, bar and dumbbell welcome here!

Investment fee was over priced a $399-$549 and sales was unhelpful. They just focused on advertising like a robot rather than addressing to each needs.

It has everything you would need to exercise and stay healthy.

7 machines are in need of repair and many have been in need of repair for over a two weeks. If you want me to pay my full membership fee I expect these items to be repaired.
