This is always such a nice place to take the kids to burn off energy, and for $6 a head, you can’t beat the price. No hourly limit, no rushing to leave because our “time is up” like some places. No screaming kids because they’re being pulled away before they’re “ready” to go (well, maybe some of that, because are they EVER ready? Mine would probably live here if they could). We drive from an hour away to come here and it’s worth the drive, hands down. Our kids ages range from 3 to 11 and they all enjoy it. And the ride home is real quiet after they’ve tired themselves out.
I come here quite a lot with my daughter. But this particular visit I left quite uncomfortable. I always keep a close watch on my daughter. I just so happen to walk past the rock climbing part that they have for the children. And for my surprise I see a little gal no older than maybe seven on top of a little boy no older than Id say eight, just riding him as if you know what. So, I said as loud as possible whoever has a daughter with a purple shirt on with glasses shes riding a little boy like a grown woman in the rock climbing area. All parents just chuckled as if I was joking I was very Disturbed. I immediately told my daughter we had to leave. But parents please please watch your children. Let them know whats appropriate and what isnt.
Very fun indoor playground. So many tunnels, slides and other obstacles. Kids will spend at least a couple hours here. It was completely remodeled with all new equipment last year. Children will get lots of exercise and improve their motor skills. Its a popular place, there are always other kids to play with.
We love our Eagles Nest and couldnt be happier with an indoor playground for kids. We have a child with special needs who cannot go to other fun indoor playgrounds due to the roughness they may encounter. Here the staff is friendly, kids are more courteous, and we rest easy knowing our children will be ok playing with others. Their rates are reasonable for the amount of fun your child will have. Check them out, you wont be disappointed.
Great place to bring young kids (12 and under) to get some much needed exercise during the winter or really any time! Its reduced price on Monday-Thursday after 6 pm until 8 pm so its a great deal. Highly recommended!
Visited here with niece and nephew (ages 2 & 4) and it was amazing! Perfect way to get some energy out and they were super engaged with everything in the space. Well be back!
For $6-$7 a kid, you cant beat this place. Plenty for the kids to do, plenty of space to run, clean, within a few food delivery areas, couple vending machines and only one exit to enter/exit the playground (excluding the emergency exits) which also has plenty of seating and power outlets so you can play around on your phone if you dont feel like constantly chasing after your kids. Plenty of seating within the playground too if you want to keep an eye on them. Overall, pretty cheap way to spend the day when your kids have cabin fever or need to burn off some energy. Only downside is locker space is extremely limited but parking is plentiful so just plan on making runs to your car if you dont get a locker.Theres also a library down the main hallway if you want to pick up a book, overall, I highly recommend this place.
Price point is good and the play area is large. They even have tables to sit down at or to stage an indoor picnic. There are not enough tables available when it gets busy, so prepare for that if you are arriving during the weekend around meal time. Its when the birthday parties roll in.
Super relaxing for me, took my four grand kids for the day and we started here at the nest and then to dinnerI was able to take my lap top and do some work all in the comfort of the sound of the kids having such a wonderful time. Thanks guys, couldnt do it at home.
Such a fun place, kid loves it. Adults can climb up with their kids. Everything is super sturdy and padded. The facilities are clean and modern. Just a really nice, fun, clean and safe space for kids to climb and jump and run.
Super fun for the kids! But this place needs to be dusted and sanitized. Also, the ladies at the front desk dont need to tell moms not to forget their head while Im trying to figure out whether to get a monthly pass or a day pass, while also worrying about my two year old who is about to disappear into a crowd of people. Rude. Do your job, and find a way to be helpful to your customers
There are a bunch of privately owned kids gyms in warehouses and abandoned Sports Authorities around the metro, but this is the best bang for the buck, and there are always kids here. Whether its rain, snow, sleet or hail, get the kids out of the house and bring them here.$6/kid over 1 yrs, or $18 for the whole month. Its less after 5pm. Parents dont pay.
The playground area is amazing! The security of the place i feel is lacking right now... Supposed to get a proper door someday, but for right now, just know that your kids can easily exit out of the emergency exit without you knowing so keep an eye on both the main and emergency exits when you have your kids your kids here.UPDATE: the manager saw me posting this review and is trying to fix the problem!! Great responsiveness on the part of the staff!!
Great place to visit in New Brighton! Fun for kids of all ages. Slides, tunnels, rock climbing, ball pit, swinging ropes, bridges, and a special section for 3 and under kids as well. $5.50 a kid unless you buy a pass package, $3 from 6-8. They have a huge gym with lots of fun stuff for the kids to play with usually. A gym for adults on the second level of the building as well. They offer classes and all kinds of activities for Parks & Rec. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Connected to the Library (which is wonderful) & New Brighton WIC office is upstairs which is all very convenient for families. Nice restrooms & amenities. We love this place and come here almost every week!
Was incredible for kids!!! Organized, clean, well managed.. neat experience!! & Were from West Allis down next to Milwaukee W. I.... I recommend it highly, if you have kids!!!... 2 to 13 years... Maybe older
Wow! This is the best indoor play area we have been to in the Twin Cities! I had a hard time getting my two year old to leave because he was having so much fun.As a parent, I loved the separate toddler area and all of the different options of play there was. It was also nice that you allowed me to bring my stroller into the toddler section, since I had my newborn with me.I also liked the fact that there is staff walking around in case you need assistance. We eventually ventured to the “big kids” area and there was an endless amount of play options for my child. We didn’t even see it all in the 1.5 hours we were there.Reasonably priced. $6 for children over 1 and adults are free! (I can’t believe there are some places in the Twin Cities that charge for adults...)Thanks for a fun day! We will definitely be back again.
This is by far our favorite play place to go. Reasonable prices, great for all ages, not over crowded so your kid that has anxiety feels scared. Also lots of seating for the parents. Very reasonably priced. We come here every weekend.
Fantastic! Awesome for kids to play, we could have stayed and played all day. Wish it was closer;) the play area is huge that my kids had a hard time finding some slides and spaces. It was age appropriate for a variety of kids. Lots to do and play on!
Fun for the kids, especially when the weather isnt good for playing outside. The playground is big enough for an adult to climb around in to accompany a smaller child who wants a parent nearby. There is also a 3 and under area for kids who may be too small to play where the bigger kids are.
I arrived with two infants under one and stopped at the desk to check in and they waived me in without a second thought. I love and appreciate when adults and under one are free.It is a fantastic space for littles, the best Ive been to outside the Childrens Museum. And an amazing place for biggers. It was a bit warm in there, and we were on the floor level. Dress accordingly.
This might be the best indoor playground for kids in the TC. Its huge and good for all ages (except adults who are large or slow). Awesome!
Best indoor childrens playground in twin cities! My son loves going here and never gets tired of it.
Our first time here, and we will definitely be back. Lots to do for toddlers or all ages and abilities not just the big kids. Which is important when you got one of each in your family. It is good for either the young ones or older kids.
Great place. The play area is big and has lots of different play equipment . This place does not have cafe or food court. Just vending machines so come prepared. It is bigger than other play spaces however.
Great for kids to get their new energy out. Separate area for the very little ones so they don’t get run over. Fun and priced well, located conveniently in the New Brighton community center.
For bigger kids it would be great. but, in the 3 and under area no ones there to enforce 10 year olds from coming in and knocking over the babies. the staff at NBCC should really be ontop of this and they are not. I will not be bringing back my 14month old daughter for this reason.
Would be great if they actually monitored toddler town on the weekends. I talked to someone behind the desk three times about older kids in the area who were pushing down little kids and jumping off of structures, which is a liability waiting to happen. I then watched the staff walk through thirty minutes after talking to them, look at the older kids, and walk out. If you’re looking for a place where safety is important to the staff, I would suggest going somewhere else because obviously this wasn’t the case.
Great place for basketball for adults. Plenty of space to seat and wait for kids to play..tons of things for kids to do..
Met my oldest daughter and my grandkids here for a day of fun. Its good for the kids.
Just used the track and exercise equipment, but this place is great. Clean and well maintained with friendly staff. Just remember to lock your valuables in the monitored lockers - theyve had a little trouble with people breaking open the mens lockers.
Great place to wear your kids out. Awsome prices.
Great place! There’s a small area for toddlers and babies with it’s own ball pit, slides, a vehicle merry-go-round, and a few play structures. For older/more independent toddlers, they can also play on the large play structure. It is also large enough in almost all places inside for adults to fit, which is great if a kid gets “stuck” or nervous. Parents and other caregivers can fairly easily go inside with their younger kids to help them if they would like. There are many slides including one very tall, long one and one very wide one with pictures projected on it. The fee ($6/kid at this time) is very reasonable, but this place can get very busy, and they will even stop selling wristbands if it’s too full. Mid-morning on a week day had a fair amount of people, but not too many. The location of this playground is also great because there’s a library right next to it inside the building.
Many parents playing up and down with shoes and many children without socks, thats disgusting.I didnt see any worker supervising around.
Great place for the kids to play indoors! Great location and staff! Payment is collected at the door.
My son loves playing here. Its big enough for there to be lots to do, but not so big that I cant find him of i need to.
Kids love it, great spot to get rid of some energy indoors. Tables for those not playing in the playground.
Kids will love this place. Everything has been redone, its fun!
Letting the kids safely free roam for $6 is 5+ stars for any parent
Always a fun time. Even though very full at times
Awesome, we love this place! Seems like its great for any kid approximately 1-12 y/o.
Very disappointed! Fun place to play BUT if you have babies or toddlers watch out. Every time I go there, the bigger kids come into the baby/toddler area. It is not monitored at all, which is really frustrating because you constantly have to try and keep your little one from getting plowed over or hurt. The idea is for it to be a safe area for your baby or toddler to explore and it isnt.I talked to a manager about it and she told me the dont monitor it except on the weekends and that she wasnt planning on doing anything about it and that its the parents job to keep their kids out of there...well duh, except they dont. I spend most of my time trying to keep my kid safe. I can do that somewhere else that doesnt cost $6 a crack. With the probably hundreds of kids that go through there a week, you cant tell me they cant pay someone to monitor it during their peak hours. Guess well be going somewhere else.
Great price! Love that theres an area designated for 3 and under, but staff needs to monitor better to keep the big kids out.
Nice play area for kids, lots of options with slides, a couple mini ball pits, even an under 3 area for the little ones. The $6 price tag is just a bit higher than some other indoor playgrounds, but its a good way to let the munchkin burn off some extra energy and could mean the difference between an afternoon nap and an afternoon running around the house.
My five year old loves the Eagles Nest! Great enclosed play area recently revamped (summer 2018) with lots of slides and climbing areas. There is an adjoining toddler area built for 3 and under. There are family bathrooms, short picnic tables for children to eat at and birthday celebration areas/packages. Lots of seating for families outside of the play area with a view inside, and lots of seating inside play area if you want to be closer to the action. Also adult and child tables away from the action for a quieter eating experience of you bring snacks or lunch. You can get a discount by buying a multi-visit pass if you come often.
Kids liked it, but it was crazy busy when we visited it on a weekend. It is really difficult to keep track of kids. Overall, It was pretty cheap for a night out with the fam.
Love the idea, but some people need to watch their kids. It smells too.
We visit often, hoping for more stuff in the toddler.Highly suggest/wish that when you reach capacity that you also put a sandwich board sign outside. Had to just drag 2 upset toddlers out because you’re full until 3:30.
The playground itself is very fun and my son had a blast. In my opinion the clientele of this area were a little ghetto. I mean I should be able to visit a childs play place without a screaming match between parents. Also parents, please watch your child if they are barely able to walk. There are so many places for the little ones to get hurt. There is a light up slide which seems to attract all the kids that were never taught slides are for going down. So I witnessed about a dozen kids get run over/hurt because of this. Also the bad parenting seems to spill over into the amount of kids I saw hit/push/shove other kids. Rather annoying. If you want to go, get there early as the do limit the capacity. If you must attend later in the day plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to the top of the hour as additional tickets are sold then.. 50 at a time.
My kids love this place. Reasonably priced.
The best thing that makes this place stand out among the rest is the single point of entry into the play area. I feel much safer if I know the kids cant go out another exit while Im watching them from the entry.
Great cheap fun. A few bratty kids parents should watch better
For 6 dollars you too can give yourself at least a few minutes of peace while also wearing your child out for easier handling at bedtime...its pretty big and actually a lot of fun to explore with your little one.
Had my baby boys 3rd birthday party here.He enjoyed himself. Not too pricey, you can bring your own food and drinks. The party planners are very professional and helpful. One of the staff workers was a bit rude but other than that this place is very nice!
Great place to take the kids out to wear off some winter blues! Reasonably priced too.
Way too many kids allowed to enter the climbing gym at a time. Younger toddlers are going to get hurt because the staff and parents allow them out of the toddler area and on to the big kids jungle gym.
Very cheap indoor fun. A bit crazy on weekends and they took out the ball pit in the toddler area which reduces the fun but its warm.
Love this place! Wish there were more places to sit outside of the playground, all tables seem to fill up really fast. But the kids love it!!
Great price! Of course its loud and chaotic because its literally a bunch of kids in one place. I was there tonight at 6 when the discounted admission started and my daughter had a BLAST! I loved the fact that the lockers where free and spacious. Plus the bathrooms were super close by. I thought the place was huge and entertaining myself. Deffinetly worth the drive and money. They even had plenty of bench-like seating on the surrounding area of the nest.
OK really fun place to let the little ones play. Updated play area is great. And have a toddler area to keep them safe. Staff is wonderful great place to go on cold or wet days. Bring socks to play in
Love this place. So much fun.
Pretty awesome play area. Snacks available by vending, and they dont care if you bring your own. Several picnic style tables to sit at, but I often have to find a bench or something to sit on because theyve all been claimed. Nice staff. Currently $6 for a kids wristband to play. Theres a library and fitness area attached, but kids under 10 need to be supervised, meaning you cant go off and workout while your kids play unless someone stays behind to watch them.
If you are planning on having a birthday party here on a Saturday, I would highly suggest you reschedule or go to a different facility. There was an insane amount of children there, and people waiting up to 3 hours to get their kids in.My two year old sons were literally getting trampled by older kids in the toddler area. There was no one at the toddler gate, the entire stay, to monitor or help those going in and out. A strange man sitting by himself in the toddler area hit on me and tried to coax me outside to smoke weed with him.A guest child crawled through vomit in the tunnels. One of my friends had to help a child out of the ball pit as she was crying and being pummeled by other kids, and her parents and work staff had to be located in a sea of people.I was scolded for entering our party room 5 mins early. No one had been in there the entire 2 hours we, including my 83 year old grandmother, were standing around. There was absolutely NO place to sit. When we finally did get in the room, we had to clean the table ourselves, as it was covered in sticky residue. To simplify, they are overcrowded, and for the price you pay for a party package, I would have liked to assume they would have been more hygienic, and furthermore at least had a staff member at the assigned position watching the toddler gate.Overall, a terrible learning experience.
I had fun great parry place winter get a way
I have taken my Grandson here many times he loves playing here spends Ban average of 2-3 Hours. I am able to oversee his playing at the same time relax.
Maybe don’t go on a Saturday during winter.. if you have a toddler the area is nice but they don’t monitor older kids going in so it’s really no different than the other hectic areas and quite dangerous having your little one run over by big kids who don’t care.
Great family option for activities with weather related detour and Minnesota winter. My 21 month old loves the smaller options and can get exposure to older kids options for play. The climbing structure is huge and I appreciate the gymnasium for kids roller vehicles, jump house, soft blocks and basketball.
Great place to bring the kids to blow off some steam.
A fun place to bring your kids for some indoor fun.
Took my 6 & 2 1/2 year old boys here on a Monday during school spring break for the 1st time and they had a blast. The play park is huge with so much to do! We were there for 2 1/2 hours but probably could have stayed for 4 hours if it wasnt for my 2 1/2 year old starting to get tired. Such a great place for a cheap price. Will definetly be going back often.
Great toddler space with multiple slides, ball pit, step/stomp piano, sway bridge, mini carousel, flip/slide tile and bead puzzles.... completely enclosed so you can comfortably let your toddler explore and it keeps the big kids out. Can get very busy but overall its clean and well managed. Definitely busy on weekends and rainy days! (During summer, havent been in winter yet)
Fresh remodel is fabulous! I wish I was a kid! Best place for indoor play.
Wonderful place to have a birthday! The kids loved the play area. The staff was kind and helpful! Their no frills birthday package was ideal for us. It included 2 hours in a private room, 8 wristbands and they allowed us to bring our own food! The play area can keep the kids busy for hours and it seemed clean and with lots of variety. We went on a Friday night and it seemed like perfect timing as Saturdays seem to get pretty booked. I would definitely recommend it for a childs event.
Amazing for all ages. Such a good price
Wonderful place to go on a freezing cold day. Very inexpensive, clean, friendly and fun. $6 to play. There is an under 3 toddler play area to avoid the little ones getting run over by the not so little ones. Remember to wear clean socks as you do need to remove your shoes!
My 7 year old had a great time and the price was definitely worth it
My kiddo had a blast! Plan to spend a long time in this secure playground!
Went here for the little ones 5th birthday and had a great time.
Great for kids ages 1 to 10. Seperate area for toddlers. Clean and a lot of fun. $6/each.
Great place to bring the kids for hoursssss of fun.
This is a great place to bring children to burn off energy, climbing, jumping, sliding, ball pits. There is an area for the younger kids also. Snacks and drinks. Rainy day? Snowy day? Hot and humid day? This is place to go..Prices are beyond reasonable for what they offer.
I had a blast! I want to come every day!
This place is amazing. Multilevel play area and a smaller toddler area. Two ball pits. Multiple slides and ladders. Tunnels and tubes. Balance beams and even a holler tree with a giant eagles nest at the top. $6/kid for the whole day. Leave and return if you need a lunch, snack or dinner break just keep the wristband on. Lots of kids. Wide age range. The hardest part, obviously, is leaving. Naps will happen after.
It was great Genesis always have fun..
Spacious and attractive place to all ages from toddler to 10. Isolated protected area for the small ones, place for parents tip rest and convenient snack machines. The place is not crowded and very affordable. A great way to spend quality time with your kids.
The indoor playground was recently redone. It has a lot of new features, an interactive slide, a keyboard, a climbing net. There is also an expanded toddler area. This is a fun playarea for kids.
Great area for kids to play in every season specially the winter time. My kids love it.
This is a great indoor playspace for kids. The toddler area is the best of the indoor playgrounds in the Twin Cities area because it has lots to do for every stage of toddler-hood. The bigger kid area has a wide variety of activities and is reasonably easy to navigate for an adult following a smaller child. The playground is rather dense so it can be tougher to visually track your kid from the floor. There are also plenty of picnic tables, multiple really nice family bathrooms that include small toilets, and at least one nursing room. It costs $6 per kid.
My 7yr old daughter and 9yr old son, love coming here to play! The play area is huge and there is a lot of space to run, jump, play, slide, hide, you name it! They have a blast! The only reason that there is 4 stars instead of 5, is that I wish there was more seating. This place is always SO BUSY and youre lucky to find a seat, if at all...
Had lots of fun with the grandkids.
This was really fun place. Clean and affordable, lots of fun for the kids. Safe and excellent way to spend a few hours.
Great place to wear kids out. Quite packed at times though.
Update is great. Still crowded most days. Super fun for younger kids. Bring hand sanitizer.
My kids love coming here. Tons of fun for all different ages. I wish there was a bit more seating available for families and adults but still an awesome facility for kids to burn off some energy!
Its a great indoor play area but I didnt enjoy paying $6.50 to have my one year old run over by kids way too old to be in the toddler area.
Lots of fun. Clean and active.
Only using the 3 and under section each time were here. The ball pit is less than half empty from the last time we were here. Its only like 3 ball layers deep today. Our kiddo loves it anyway. Limited seating for adults in the 3 and under section. (Kinda good cuz limited adult seating gets everyone a little more involved in the play. But also kinda sucks when its packed and youre only here because your back is to sore to play with kiddo anyway.)Theres an emergency door that goes off literally every time weve been here since the remodel. They cant hear it up front, so someone usually has to up to tell them to turn off the alarm. Its new design is bigger for the little ones, with more things to play with, and kiddo is definitely fond of time spent here. Sleep is better for everyone in our family after coming.Coming after 6pm makes it worth while because its only $3.50 until they close at 8. But were usually only here an hour, so cheaper makes more sense for us.
