Usually have a great time here but the other night with the new mask rules the staff felt very unfriendly to us. I know we have to be cautious with COVID but there is a line between acting like gestapo and enforcing the rules.

Great outdoor music venue. All covered by a roof. Lots of space. Plenty of tables for big groups. Fair pricing on drinks, food avaliable. Live music everyday of the week. You must have your mask and wear if you are not seated.

Good special, decent prices, attentive staff; but they were riding us WAY TOO HARD ABOUT THE MASKS. We were by ourselves, in a corner of the bar playing pool, staff would absolutely not leave us alone about our masks being over our noses. How are we supposed to play pool and drink beer with a mask all the way up the entire time. Wont be back. Sorry. Not sorry.

My husband and I are here at Billys Ice tonight and we have to say the staff has been great...they are right on top of making sure everyine is complying with the Covid restrictions...making sure to continually make sure everyone has masks like they are suppose to and wiping and disinfecting bartop and tables. They made us feel very comfortable...we will definitely be back the next time we are in town!!!

We love this place. Everyone is Friendly. Had a big crowd, but everyone is always having fun.

Great place to get cheaper beer than almost anywhere in New Braunfels and yall need to try there cheese sticks

Love me some Billys. The music is usually pretty good - the folks are friendly. I just wish that the drinks werent in plastic. Oh.. and they let dogs on the outside patio... which is nice.

Beers 3.75-3.50 I couldn’t figure out the price. Farmer was my bartender, first of all this guy knew everyone pretty personably and even shook my hand when I asked if his legal name was really farmer, he was super awesome and not a bad looking guy either! Loved the beard. A creepy guy sat next to me and talked to me and he told me to let him know if I had any problems. Live music and pretty decent atmosphere. I don’t look like your average person who lives in new Braunfels and I still found it welcoming!

Great dive bar for a Lonestar and some live music. Bar staff are always friendly. Come for a couple of long necks and enjoy a Texas evening.

Nice, clean, friendly staff, great drinks. Pool, live music that night, dance floor. It was hot tho. Dont think theres ac, they had the bay doors open and fans on. Itd be great in the winter.

We like the atmosphere at this place, the band was ok, a little off key but they do have some really good musicians in there most of the time. Drinks were good, service, too. Well be back

Great Customer Service

My friends n I visit Billys Saturday 12-14-19. We had a disturbing incident in Ladies restroom. An employee/bartenderr named Farmer barged into ladies room without warning, opened the door on a women occupying the toilet stall, invasion of privacy. My friend felt violated n instead having a great time as she had been doing, she was very upset that this man saw her! All ladies in restroom were shocked n upset to see him do this to my friend. He should b reprimanded for violating a womens privacy .Could have easily been avoided by giving fair warning of his presence in a ladies restroom. Who does that!!!! Billys is a great place but not with male employees that dont respect boundaries.

I have more than once, stood and waited for my turn to get a drink at the bar. After getting past by and bringing it to the bartenders attention, the bartender said I will just have to wait my turn. I have a dog and I have found more than one other bars in New Braunfels to get respect and to enjoy my time with my dog. After the last time it happened to me and I left, cant remember the last time I was there.

Music was good. Service was borderline rude. Also lacking in selection of beverages compared to other venues.

Great Atmosphere, all the staff is friendly too!

They always have great music, cold beer and liquor (in a small plastic cup). The layout is interesting, indoor and covered outdoor seating, porch swing, and outside a place to toss washers. They clientele is mostly blue collar, age range from 21 to really old. The dance floor gets lots of action with a country or rock band. The owners help tremendously with local fund raisers, always contributing back to this great community. Thanks Nick, you do a lot for our town.

A relaxed open air bar and music venue (no food). Great mix of friendly locals and bikers. Good drink prices and great staff (Kelly and Farmer are the best!). Full bar. Located across from Gruene HD. If you’re an “upity” person, this is not your place.

The bands were awesome! Nice big venue. People who had come to watch the band were very rude though. Brent Micheal woods and David Fenley rocked the house down! I will definitely come back for another great night of music!

This place is fantastic! The bar itself is a pretty cool venue, but the thing that really pushes it over the top is the staff. The girls had the door were very friendly and helpful, the manager Kelly went out of her way for us to accommodate, and the male bartender, I didnt catch his name, was on the spot every time! I went to see a buddy of mine Dave Fenley that was playing, and they really knocked it out of the park! I would for sure go back even if they werent playing!

Live music 7 days a week. Great staff, awesome atmosphere, and tasty food. Its an indoor/outdoor place with big garage doors and great patio. Perfect place to enjoy after the river or just to grab a beer. They serve liquor as well. Great New Braunfels experience.

RC Rocks was the best rock n roll cover band I have heard in a long time! And Billys is the ubiquitous Texas ice house. Will definitely go again.

Typical Texas honky tonk with smallish venue. Nothing really to say good or bad. Reminded me of the Patrick swazy movie Road House...without the packed crowd. Decent venue for live bands.

Went for Bike Night, so there were free beers (2) provided by local custom bike shop. Nice easy open air/walled venue, great band. Limited food choice, though there was a food truck on the lot and great BBQ close by

FYI Billy’s Ice will serve you until you’re staggering drunk and then call the NBPD on you. This happened to my best friend Tuesday Nov 6th. Instead of cutting him off or calling an Uber or a friend, or asking him if he was going to drive, the female bartender ASSumed he was going to get behind the wheel and take off. He wasn’t. He went to go sit in his car and sober up. The man has a class A CDL and is fully aware of the penalties of drinking and driving. He made the mistake of turning his car on because it was hot outside. Please be aware that Billy’s Ice doesn’t care about their customers and will sell them out. SMH
