My wife and I have seen live theater in Pittsburgh, Lexington KY, Richmond VA, but tonights performance was one of the best we have ever seen, on par with professional companies. So good we are contemplating on donating to the theater. Well done, well done, well done. If anyone reading this can get tickets, do so, you will not be disappointed.

I love the look outside. Inside seating close together, but very close to stage. Great acoustics inside.

Saw dress rehearsal of Momma Mia and it was flawless. There is so much energy in this show, and performers were top notch, especially the two lead ladies, Donna and Sophie! Highly recommended!

Love to go to the plays they put on although the one this past weekend was a let down, great acting but just not what I was expecting. Sherlock Homes mystery

The place is small and needs a lot of tlc on the inside. The cast was fantastic.

The production was Broadway quality. Such a huge voice for a small theater. My only complaint would be with the leg room.

It was amazing beyond words i love every mintue of it me and my girlfriend loved it the show was amazing we had a blast great show. We do acting in Goldsboro at Center Stage Thearte and it was a blast coming to a new thearte again loved every mintue of it looking forward to seeing more shows in the future Thanks New Bern Civic Thearte for a great time and show!!!!

What a fine old theater with an active arts and theater program

Theater was fine. Chrogrophy wonderful, but, story left much to be desired! Would not sit through again, or, recommend.

The theater itself could use some sprucing up but the performances are generally very good. Will definitely continue coming back.

Have been to several productions for almost a decade. This local production company does an amazing job. Especially the younger actors in plays/musicals.

The show was fantastic. Comfortable seating. A perfect evening for girls night out or sharing family gathering. I will check the line up next time I visit New Bern.

Fabulous! Took my grandkids to see Bring It On. The production was incredible. We will be coming back to see other shows. The inside of the building could use some care but its great that it is being used and it appears to have great potential.

The New Bern Civic Theatre is a amazing place to enjoy musicals and if you enjoy theatre you should definitely make time to see one of their shows. They always seem to have a great selection of shows each season. I have seen a number of shows over the past couple of years including Mary Poppins, Hello Dolly, Into the Woods, Rent, and more and the crew never fails to deliver outstanding performances. It is very easy to purchase tickets form the theatres website which allows you to pick the exact seat you want and with the convenience of printing the tickets form home. They have floor seating and a balcony. The theatre is older and the seats are a little uncomfortable but the quality of the performances more than makes up for these minor inconveniences. They also have meet and greets with the cast after each show and they are always a delight to talk to. It is very obvious how much they enjoy performing for us.

You have a good view of stage in any seat youre in. The actors are really good. I really enjoy going to the theatre. The staff is suoer friendly.

To Kill a Mockingbird by a teen group. It is what you would expect. Theater is clean and nice. Ive been in entertainment for 40 years and lived in Las Vegas for 32 years plying my trade. This production fell far short of anything Ive previously sat through. Good luck to them in future productions.

Wonderful performance by an amazing group of children ages ranging from 5 to approximately 15 years old. The theater has good accoustics and comfortable seating.

Great place for local theater. I thought their performamce of much ado about nothing was impressive. Memorizing Shakespeare isnt easy!

Cool venue to watch a play by the local theatre company. Liked everything about it only complaint is the lack of leg room many of the rows.

I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the productions that Ive seen there, but the theatre itself could use some improvements. The ceiling tiles need to be replaced, some of the seats in the balcony are unstable and the 2nd stall in the womens restroom seems like an afterthought!
