Excellent, challenging course. Choice of 5 tee boxes for any skill level. Plenty of opportunity to let er rip with the driver. Very nice staff. Tee times available to the public most anytime. Carts are GPS enabled for accurate yardage.

I attended a wedding here and it was very professionally done. I enjoyed the space, the food that was served, and the staff that was serving it. Everything seemed to be meticulous and well-thought-out. I would recommend it for your wedding.

Were told to not drive single carts...while on the 8th tee. Very rude way of mentioning they stopped single carts months ago...even though it was our first time and he assumed it wasnt. Southern hospitality...not here. Not to mention not everyone in the group was family. Saw no signs of wiping down carts/disinfecting/etc.

Had my sisters wedding here. It was a great spot! Beautiful area, golf course and banquet center to host all events! The wedding ceremony was held outside with the pond and golf course in the background and it was absolutely stunning. The wedding then proceeded to the hall inside which was nicely set up. The flow through the baquet center was great and easily maneuverable. The club is located in New Bern, close to all shopping, dining, activities, many of which are just next to Carolina Colours. Lovely place! Sure was a blast and a memory to cherish!

Was there for the after hours party thats helps after the downtown wedding expo. Great food and an awesome staff. Ive been here several times and I highly recommend this place.

Greens are in really bad shape. Im a military retiree, but had to pay full 43. Rate. Not worth it. Should be a 15 dollar. Rate.

Nice course and food was great. Being from out of state, we rented clubs. One bag was ok but my bag had doubles of some clubs and missing others. When I asked for some of the missing clubs like a sand wedge and a 5 iron, was given a 54 degree regular club and no 5 iron and told that rentals are are put together with whatever is available. I should’ve done an inventory before going out.

Tight course. A must

I love this course! Not only because I hit my first Eagle on 8, (picture was my second shot from 90 yds out on the 8th hole. Second is what the ball in the cup on 8) but the course was amazing. The rough was fluffy which made it hard to find the ball if you found it and the bunkers couldve used a good raking, but we played after a couple days of rain so take the good with the bad. The Staff was amazing and the clubhouse was great. If you are tired of playing the worn out golf courses around Jacksonville/Camp Lejeune area, (Rock Creek, Bear Trail) make the drive here, it will not disappoint! I will be playing here more FOR SURE!

Greens are in great shape right now. Fairways are firm, tee boxes are sandy, but okay. Practice green is great. Public price is on par with surrounding courses... great deals on GN ($25). Staff is courteous and helpful. Bring bug spray for sure. Its a long course to walk, but doable. Carts have USB ports and rain shields.

The people there are really friendly...even the ground crew is courteous and friendly! Ken Gerhardt is a true gentleman and always courteous. The restaurant is always clean and well-appointed and the course is beautiful. Thanks.

Great course, enjoyed every hole, some with a hidden challenge. Word to the wise sometimes its better to play the safe shot, go play a round, youll see what I mean, but always remember, HAVE FUN!!

Great course, best in the area. Layout is excellent as well as the fairways and greens. Very reasonably priced and friendly staff. Only disappointment was condition of sand traps but could be due to recent rain. Overall a must play if in the area.

I used to love this course, but I guess they are fine with the known issues and don’t want to fix them. I never had a welcome feeling the last time I went there and when we tried to walk on 9 holes going off the back or front whichever was easiest they were not accommodating, the soonest we could have teed off was 2.5 hours later. You got it ccgc I’ll put my money in other courses that act like they enjoy golfers having a good experience

The staff were friendly and polite. The course was in good shape. Most of the bunkers had good sand with several had mud not raked. Fairways good, tee boxes needed cutting. Fairways and greens were firm . Greens were receptive to good shots and ball action.

Very Friendly warm atmosphere. The course great very dynamic with a ton of interesting holes. The service is terrific.

Lots of rain the day before, but the course was very playable. Good, challenging course. Drinking water scattered around enough places. Friendly staff. Super humid and hot and play took about 4.5 hours with 3 golfers. Decent middle of week rates.

Nice course. But they need to get their sand traps playable. Plesent staff .portable toilets on course not much class.would play again if trap situation is straightened out.

I am a professional golfer and have always shown upmost respect for any course I practice at and/or play on and abiding by their rules, but the General Manager will not allow me to practice at their course without a tee time or a membership, anymore. They informed me to not practice there anymore. It all started when I gave a lesson out there and the GM approached me while I was on the practice green and told me I cannot give lessons out there anymore, I apologized and never did it again. IT DID NOT END THERE. I completely understand this scenario and respected his wishes. I want to grow the game and impact my golf communities! Hence the beauty of golf. But why were your golfers asking me for lessons instead of your pros? But I respected what I was told. ***HERE IS MY MAIN ISSUE*** They say they are a public-like facility, 10$ for unlimited range balls, etc...! I advertise that for them! Little did they know I brought them business. They ended this as far as I am concerned. Greed is a powerful thing and not allowing practice is ludicrous, ITS GOLF! And short game is free by the way. THIS COURSE IS NOT A PRIVATE COURSE! I have been told there is to be NO PUBLIC PRACTICE at this Semi-Private Course. I do not recommend this course to anyone due to management and the decline in the courses condition. It is awful when you love a golf course but will never play it again because the General Manager has no idea how to operate a thriving golf course. I am not the only having problems with this. All my business will go to the Emerald Golf Club (they allow public practice). I wont be surprised to see their business drop over time, their greens are already losing life...fast.

Big let-down. Heard about this place for years and finally went to see it. I expected it to be a HUGE 9 iron but instead of a golf club like its advertised, its a golf course. They are going to have a real PR problem if they keep this up.

Carolina Colours is a beautiful facility with professional and friendly staff!!! The golf course is one of the most beautiful courses in the area. It is a challenging, yet fun layout. The greens are fantastic year round!!! During your round you are likely to see beautiful deer and other wildlife as the course is in the Croatan National Forest.

For the price the fairways needed work and the greens were ok at best.

Nice place for weddings and receptions

A nice layout for any handicap level. The fairways are line with trees and waste areas but they are mostly marked with red stakes so you get to that a miss hit as a water hazard and not a lost ball. This saved me several strokes.

Great place for a wedding or event! I especially like the Jasmine outside for pictures.

If you are in the area and want to play golf just go here. Greens were a little slow when I played but the starter told us and made it sound like it was abnormal. If you can get a group of 12 together the price per round with a cart drops to $35.
