Walter & Mary Burke Park

This park is the most beautifully designed, and my kids absolutely loved it. I’m not from here, but i definitely recommend. It was worth the drive.

This park is so quaint and clean. Very family friendly atmosphere! Michigans tallest glad pole is located here also. Walking distance to downtown New Baltimore where there is a bakery, ice cream shop and other cute shops. I would really recommend this also for fishing and swimming.

Its a beautiful part I love the views. Also a great place to bring the grandkids to play.

I visited for the weekend and in the short two days I spent in the area, this was the highlight. After a relatively lame first night, the second day was starting to look bad. I brought a half ounce of good kush for the occasion but the folks I stayed with were no good for fun. Their preference, as it appeared, was to stay inside and do nothing of note. This could not stand. After a near full 24 hours in the region I desperately needed to go home. Thats when I found this park. I didnt realize how close I was to home. The water waited patiently for me as I made my way to its edge. As poor a time as I may have had among the humans, they showed me kindness by returning me to the water. This day, Id be letting those of my species know: the humans are not all bad.

Wonderful park on Lake St. Clair. Play area for children, benches, pavillion for activities and more. On Sundays May - October there is a farmers market with fresh produce, baked goods, crafts and often food trucks. Great place to spend an afternoon.

This is the best place to take your children! Its quaint, clean, nice people, and clean bathrooms. They also have picnic tables, grassy areas, and plenty of shade with mature trees. Great beach!

Nice little beach. Pretty busy even in COVID times and it was before noon on Saturday. Playground looked like fun. No pets allowed in the park. We came by boat and docked at the public dock. Wanted to get ice cream but those shops didnt open until noon.

This is such a beautiful part and is very well kept by the city and the massive flagpole with the biggest u.s. flag anywhere near here this park is beautiful and Serene even though the park employees can be kind of douchey its a great Park to take your kids and is always in top-notch shape

Very beautiful views, huge playground. Had a life guard stand for the swimming beach. Very clean and was a nice evening.

Bottom line: beautiful little park with great beach access! This would be a great place to take a family for the day. Besides the view and water, there is also convenient access to ice cream shops and convenience stores when you feel it is time spoil your kids or yourself.Simply a nice place to spend a day of good weather.

The water was so beautiful today!! I love walking out on the pier and breathing in the fresh air and taking in the view. This place does something good to my soul that only God can do with his earthly beauty.

Great little park on the water, I love stopping by to catch the sunset. Little beach in the summer, docks, boardwalk, huge pavilion, large field, playscape, right in downtown New Baltimore with plenty of shopping and food. Its also great in the winter!

Great place to spend time by the lake. The park is maintained and groomed very well. The facilities were clean and easily accessible. They also have vending machines for beverages cash only no debit/credit card spot that I noticed.

Good place to go if youre a tourist. Also go to port Huron. Both absolutely beautiful. Cool park for kiddos here. Walk on the dock and see the water and minnows.

Beautiful waterside park. Their handicap accessibility could have been better for the park in general and especially for the restrooms.

I had my crafts set up here for a show we were doing. Its a nice but very small park but you are right by the water which is great.

Nice and clean. Beautiful views. I enjoyed walking down the pier with my family ( grandkids, daughter, and husband). Just sitting in our chairs watching people and relaxing was nice and peaceful.

Great place. Few shades spots we had lunch and then took a quick swim. Water was deep quick but never got higher than chest.

This park is a little piece of heaven in New Baltimore, especially during covid time. My boyfriend and i would sit in our cars and look at the water and have lunch in our cars. When the restrictions were lifted a little, mu boyfriend and i went there and had a little picnic. The only thing thar suprised me was that now theres a sign that said no dogs. I really enjoyed watching the dogs play on the beach. Not sure what happened to put this in place. Curious for some answers about that. Overall, i enjoy going there.

Always a fun time! The beach is perfectly sandy, the playground has something for all ages, and the pier is just delightful!

The park was nice, well kept up, and at Coronna capacity today. I was pleased to see Michigans tallest flag, flag pole, the life guards on duty, and people playing volley ball, football, and scocer. A walk down the board walk was short, but relaxing, with a good view. In a word, nice.

Very clean restrooms. Limited parking. Not sure if because of covid but not many places to sit and eat. Lots of docks and a nice pier to walk out on.

This is a beautiful park with all the amenities right on the lake!

Playground, swings and Beach are all so close to each other that is ideal for young families. The pier is perfect to walk out on with kids and then go to the ice cream shop... Or lunch at the Little Mustard Seed!!

Love bringing the kids here! lots to do from walking in the beach to the huge play scape to tire them out. can also take the kidos fishing on the huge board walk they have.

One of my favorite places to go as a kid and now i love taking my kids here, its clean here.

My kids and I really enjoyed the free beach access and the fact that there were lifeguards on duty til 6pm.

Awesome park on the bay. You can park a large boat here for free during the day. There is a very nice playground, swim area and restrooms.

This is a nice park with good play ground equipment. They also have the tallest flag pole in the mid-west I believe it said on the placard. It looks like there might be an area to swim in, but that should be double checked. What I found that I enjoyed the most was the quite & the spectacular view! It is gorgeous, Gaia at her best!

Beautiful park! Awesome playground for the kiddos and if its not too busy I enjoy climbing around myself. They swings are the best! Nicely kept beach and swim area with lifeguards. Many fun events throughout the year. Perfect park for a sensational little beach town on Anchor Bay!

I used to come here as a kid all the time. Im glad to say its still a great park on the water to sit back with some ice cream and relax.

We had a family reunion in the building. It was small, but clean with plenty of outdoor seating, which was perfect for the buffet style meal. The park itself was beautiful. It was well kept and family friendly. Swimming in the water and fishing off the docks. There was also a beautiful play area for the children. Also very well kept. Would definitely go back if Im in the area!

What a beautiful beach! Boardwalks that take you out into the water and a really nice boat launch. And a half a block away a cute little downtown with restaurants, shops and bars. Not a bad drive home less than an hour.

What can i say, it is my home town park. It is very clean, safe and a wonderful place for children of all ages to play. The beach is a fun place to let the little ones swim and build sand castles. Great place to fish too. !! Bring a lunch and enjoy a day in New Baltimore. Many good places to eat within walking distance.

Its an awesome park, right up on the water. Theres a pier that goes into the lake, (but its still pretty shallow so dont dive in) theres a small Beach and a playground. Only thing thats missing is a basketball court!FMOI: @joeyshyordieAdd ne on snap: joey_shy123

A little Paradise right down the street

New Baltimore has a jewel of a park in the downtown area. The revitalization is well done and beautiful. All the shops and restaurants make this a nice day trip to add to your weekend get-away list.

Walter and Mary Burke Park is beautiful on Anchor Bay. Blue Water. Michigans tallest flagpole. Awesome. New Baltimore Art on the Bay was impressive. Very nicely put together. Entertainment by Square 3. Excellent acoustic trio. Hope theyll be back locally soon.

I love sitting on the dock by the water and just listening to the waves hit the dock. I come here very often with my loved one and for every anniversary we have. Absolutely gorgeous.

Great place for being alone or with friends and family.
